Yuki asks the old couple "Do you want grandchild"

Hikaru looks towards the old couple, the old couple look toward each other.

"Ha ha ha... You are quite an adorable child. So what do you mean by it?"

Yuki asks them

"We were looking for a place to stay in the village, can we live with you Grandma and grandpa, of course we will not be freeloaders , we will give you money and we will also help you with house chores."

The old couple looks towards Yuki's legs , comes toward her, pats her head and says

"How can we decline the request of such a sweet child. Come with us"

Yuki looks towards hikaru and smiles, while hikaru thinks "Don’t smile. Did you even realize what you said before?"

The old couple leads them to their house

"What are your names?"

Hikaru introduced both him and Yuki to the old couple and asked

" What shall we call you sir and mam?"

The grandpa replies

"ha ha ha, didn't you want to be our grandchild then calling us Grandma and Grandpa will make us happy"

Hikaru replies "Then, thanks for helping us Grandma and grandpa"

They reached the house. It was quite large with 2 floors, some space left in front of the main door. There were some trees , and flowers were grown. The inside was well ventilated with windows. Everything was neat and tidy. There was not much furniture so it also looked spacious.

The old couple gave them a house tour. There was a kitchen, a store house, 5 bedrooms on the second floor and a room filled with books. It was the largest room of the house, and the bath house was the 2nd largest room. I bedroom on the ground floor and a guest room.

After house tour Hikaru asks the couple

"we can start to help in house from today and if you need any other help then please order us"

The grandpa says

"We don't need much help outside the house, you can help us by preparing meals, watering the plants and sometimes cleaning the house. Other than that you are free to use your time however you want."

It was already around night time so Yuki and Hikaru started preparing dinner. After that they called the old couple and ate with them in the dining hall. The old couple praised their cooking. After finishing the dinner they washed the dishes, take a bath. Then Hikaru takes Yuki to her room and lays her down on the bed.

"Now take a good sleep, Good night"

Hikaru closes Yuki's room door and goes to his own room, lies on the bed and sees a face coming out from the ceiling. He almost screams but holds it in.

"I almost forgot about you, where have you been all day?"

Aki floats a little down and says

"I was checking out this house and the area around, how rude of you to forget about me"

“sorry sorry i was a little lost in the peaceful time. Now what are you going to do for the night? Can you sleep?”

“Yes we can.”

"So go and sleep wherever you like. Ah.. and tell sana I want to speak with her if she allows"

"so you forget about me even when you can see and hear me but you remember about Sana whom you haven't seen or spoken. well whatever"

"Is Sana here in this room?"

" No, maybe she is in your sister's room,why do you ask?"

Sana enters the room.

"Well, I was just thinking that she may be also getting lonely not being able to talk to us and neither I have seen you till now talk with her"

" i do talk to her you are just not there when I talk to her"

“ ya ya, but i slightly understand how she is feeling because of not being able to interact with other people. You can cha , laugh, rant about something with us while she has only you, may be I am just overthinking or simply assuming that she is also eager to talk with us, maybe your are not letting her feel lonely and sad but it can be a possibility that she feel herself alone in the world when me and yuki are talking with you.

It's not like I am only taking pity for her but i also want to have a chat with her maybe I am curious about her or what ever and I think yuki also want to have a chat with her too "

Aki comes a little closer and pats hikaru's head, hikaru rolls his head sideways in embarrassment.

"That's pretty kind of you "

Sana gets a little fidgety.

Hikraru suddenly remembered ladies which used to work in his office,he asks Aki with a little bit of fear in his tone

"By the way, what type of lady is Miss Sana?"

"ha ha ha what happened, do you get nervous when talking to a woman?"

s "if they are like the women's i know from my office then surely I will get chills down my spine"

"why? Did they have a bad personality or was it because of their looks?"

"First of all I don't judge someone by their face. They all were beautiful but the way they seduced most of the men in the office to do their share of work and hide their true personality really terrified me. Men were dancing on those women's fingers. So I am on guard around most of women's "

" That's why you were still single, like not all the males are the same , not all the women are the same. Sana is............"

Aki stops talking

"Why are you not saying something?"

Sana was covering Aki's mouth, she whispers something in Aki's ears, Aki nods and Sana lets him go. He replies

"Sana just came, she says we will talk face to face when you and yuki will be able to see and hear her. She is going back to sleep in the yuki room. She said good night"

"ah.. ok, Good night"

Sana goes back to Yuki's room and Aki sleeps in Hikaru's room. A little but after Aki fell asleep someone knocked on hikaru door, Hikaru was still awake.

"Is yuki there?"

Yuki opens the door and comes in on her wheel chair. Hikaru stands quickly and helps her.

"What happened ? can't sleep?"

Yuki smiles and replies "Looks like it became my daily routine to talk to my brother before sleeping, I can't get sleepy without it."

Hikaru chuckles and asks "what am I? A boring story teller. Anyway, is your body really alright?"

"ya,the pain vanished and i can do normal works easily but i still get exhausted pretty easily i should start doing some light exercise "

"Your body is not familiar with hard work and you were only able to do a small amount of work previously due to being affected by cancer, it will take time but surely you will be able to stand back on your feet. I believe in you.."

Yuki looks around then asks

"brother why don't we help exposing what the guy, Nefrim did with village to other higher up to punish him for what he did"

"You know, we are new in this world,we have no connection, we don't know whom we can trust and whom we can't. Don't you think the person who was able to hide the incident of vanishing a whole village,has power and connection.we can't do anything against him.you don't have to think about that stuff, maybe there are some persons who are already suspicious of him. You should go and sleep in your room for today, okay?"

Yuki agreed a little with Hikaru

"Okay."

Hikaru takes Yuki to her room then comes back to sleep in his room.

Morning comes, hikaru gets up , checks on yuki and sees she is still sleeping. He smiles, goes down, takes a bath then goes to the kitchen and starts preparing breakfast.

He went to check on an old couple who were awake, he called them for dinner at the same time yuki wakes up he helps yuki. They eat breakfast , and hikaru requests grandma to help yuki with a bath she agrees. Hikaru in the meantime completes other house works. Aki and Sara wake up and start doing stretches at the top of the house. After yuki had taken bath the old couple went to their friends house

Hikaru asks Yuki "you want to go outside?"

"nah, i want to try using this wand. So I am going to take aki with me to teach me outside. can you call him and take me near the trees shade”

Hikaru calls aki "akiiiii! Come down"

Aki comes down through the ceiling "what happened?"

" Can you teach Yuki how to use magic spells?"

"sure why not, i also want to see how powerful she can be"

" thanks "

Hiakru takes Yuki under the shade of the tree then comes in, and completes other chores left. After finishing he starts thinking about what to do. He remembers the room filled with books.

Hikaru goes into that room and starts looking for books which can be of his interest, by going through shelves he finds some books which caught his eyes. He takes those books, puts them on the table and sits on the chair.

The first book hikaru opens was named-

'About mana and magic spells'

The book says that mana is present in living organisms, dead ones and in plants and the surrounding environment. Your body can store mana but it's not mana itself which makes a being strong its the way someone uses it which can make them strong, you can collect mana from surrounding and store it But up to a limit which vary according to creatures and person to person.

That mana will help to cast spells. Most spells which are being used and will be used in future may be the same because creating new ones requires good imaginations and talent which is not something common to find.

You can cast spells with chanting or without chanting depending on a person's capabilities and hard work.

Wand helps in efficient use of mana and also in storing it. You can also cast spell without a wand.

Some persons may suffer from disease caused by or related to mana. Some persons are only able to use mana from surrounding, they don't have ability to store mana

Mana can be used for healing. you will need meat of any living being if you want to regenerate body parts which are lost by the person if you don't have his/her original body parts but if you have his/her body parts not completely destroyed then some spells can help. Many other things were written in the book.

Then second book which caught Hikaru's eyes was about the map of world and information about nobel families

The third and last book which caught Hikaru's eye was titled-"The 7 who ruled the world"

It has information about 7 monsters who ruled the world before humans and still are present somewhere here in the world but out of the 7 monsters it was said that 1 was dead and 1 was on the verge of death. So that leaves 5 monsters who are still alive and fit living in this world but no one ever saw them.

They have powers which are immeasurable, humans can't fight against them. It's a good thing that they don't have any intentions to wipe out the living being.looking at the evidence at the mountain and seas it seems they liked to play like children, some of mountain shapes and big holes under sea surface are their doing. Some people even call them 'Jokers Of The Pre Era' for their behaviour, but still they are monsters to be scared of. Search for them is still going on by many people but not even one of them is still found out.There was no way to rank them according to their power so all of them are thought to be equally powerful.

Hikaru hears voices from outside so he puts back the books to their places and goes outside. He sees Yuki with a big smile on her face and an ice block floating in the air. Hikaru goes close to yuki and aki then says

"So you are able to produce ice umm."

Aki with a smugs and says " and its without enchanting "

" Why are you so happy about that though? "

" She will spread my name in the future as a great teacher of hers. She have great talent"

"whose sister do you think she is "

Aki looks with wide open eyes toward hikaru

" I don't think you will even be able to move wind with your mana.I can guess your limit by a glance at you"

" You don't have to be that harsh"

The old couple returns home. They all enjoy the rest of the day by chatting and talking about Hikaru's past and the old couple having pain in joints and shoulders due to old age.

At night, hikaru gave a massage to an old couple. After that Hikaru,Yuki,Sana and Aki talk more about eachothers childhood.Then after seeing yuki sleep on a chair he takes yuki to her room and goes to sleep as well.

The next day the old couple takes hikaru and yuki outside the house to introduce them to other people of the village. All villagers greet them with a smile, some talk to them about how the old couple were the only one at that house and the villagers were worried about their health but because of hikaru and yuki starting to live there they can rest assured.

After that the old couple goes again to his friend's house, according to the villagers all old people meet at a decided house and enjoy their time at that place, it was a daily routine.

Hikaru and yuki goes back to house and practice magic there and so few days goes by.
