If you think this is gonna be a story where the shut in otaku ends up getting reincarnated into another world and becomes so overpowered he can take on gods and gets a harem filled with cute girls with extremely sexy body's each filling a certain archetype and they all constantly throw themselves at him. But he never actually acts on it, and the guy turns out to be some chosen hero who's gonna save the world from some demon lord...

Sorry to break it to you, this is not that story.

Well, let me put it this way...

There is a shut in otaku who gets reincarnated into another world, but he's certainly not the hero, nor is he the villain...

Though he played a part in the hero's downfall.

And well, he is me. 

Look, I have a lot of things that I've been turning over in my head, over and over, trying to make sense of them, maybe this is a way of trying to work through what happened. Plus. i know a lot of people in the world I was reborn into would like to know about the hero. And people in my world too. Though to the people of earth this is just another story. 

But it actually happened...

And I suppose I see it as my duty to tell the story of the hero, because he saved me, but I... 

You can see where I'm getting at. 

But I'm also telling my own story as well and weaving it into the hero's story. So, if you're willing to read through the rest of this book and learn the tale of Joshua. Then go on ahead. 

But if you want something you can turn your brain off too and just dive into escapism. Well this isn't the place for you. That's all I have to say.
