When I looked back to see what the other rampaging demons were doing. The hoodlums looked to have overwhelmed the remaining demons, and the somewhat sullen-looking Dark Elf sat down upon the floor with a sigh. 

The dark elf Skevern, who didn’t show any intention to resist, seemed resigned. “What a mess. I thought I’d go back to the Demon Realm after rampaging as much as revenge on humans, this mess. Quickly, kill me, violate me, do as you please, it’s fine.”

The door of the back room opened, and a small shadow popped out from inside in fright.

It was the goblin that had disappeared before I knew it. “Kikikikiki, ki, Gii… Gii!!”

Skevern also asked in surprise, and the goblin reappeared and behind it. They were monsters such as demonic wolves and insects who were fighting in Duel Monsters.

The monsters started to flee and led by the cyclops and the goblin. They created their own door, and Skevern fled with them. 

The minister's guards reacted to scene, “No way, our moneyman the Minister." 

This underground gambling den is done and going to shut down. No more financial backing and no more monsters to subdue.  

There was no leader to set things as the underground turned full chaos. One man did step forward and direct things actually. 

It was the old man who helped me get in. “The brilliance of the passionate youth. I just couldn’t help gazing at it. Therefore, any further redundancy. I’ll burn it away.”

Many of the hoodlums at first resisted, “Who are you, shitty old timer!”

The underground hoodlum men just saw him as a customer. Cited it’s an internal mess, so it’s dangerous but to leave it to them.  

The old man raised his voice for the first time. “Do be silent! As long as the matter involves transcendental issues of Demons, borders are irrelevant as people living on the same world! If there is any suspicion of violation of international law stipulated as common to mankind, it is not a problem for only the Empire! And Minister Shihtzu will be brought to justice as we cannot overlook the perverse deeds, the abuse, and the excessive use of power by the politician.”

The old man had the opportunity to investigate this gambling den in a number of ways. In fact, most of the merchants that were in mediation of the dead minister were actually Anti-Imperialists people involved are Anti-Coalition forces.

That old man had noticed my actions. As many did not notice all the actions, but were grateful to me for stopping the Mantis from slaughtering more. 

Old Man approached and said, “The young boy, you took responsibility and provided a solution to the needless violence. I will communicate the remarks directly to Emperor Solja so that this disaster can be judge fairly and impartially.”

After all, this old man is not a regular person. Enuma gasped, "Ah, this fellow, I never!? So, that is how it is."

After telling his men his orders, the next moment, the old man took off his mask.

From under it, I thought the old man was as thin as a dead branch, but the light of eyes and his belligerent smile were very different from the gentle image I had when I first met him.

Enuma chuckled, somewhat dumbfounded. "It is said that human life expectancy is short. Surely to think he was still alive."

The clean-up began and hoodlums worked with the old man's men to arrest the allies of the dead minister. 

Enuma explained to me, “He once fought deadly battles with the Demon King’s army. Former Deputy Commander of the Allied Human Forces established to bring together the justice of all mankind, He’s Lord Mikado.”

That’s right, it’s a textbook! In a history textbook. Huh?

I’m extremely aware of that name or rather I should say legend. He is also a war hero, Mikado!

I stuttered, “L-L-Lord Mikado. Wh-why, in a place like this…as for this, discourtesy…”

Mikado chuckled, “Fufufufu, you don’t have to humble yourself, I’ve already stepped down from my position. I am a vassal of Emperor Solja, not particularly another subordinate. More than anything else. I’ve been watching your fight, and it made my heart leap, if I can help you, I want to help you.”

I declined, "Ah, no thanks. I just want to continue my journey. I think I shall be leaving."

Lord Mikado turned to one of his subordinates, “I was informed by a merchant who was among the fleeing guests earlier. Princess Uriko, daughter of Emperor Solja and Akari the great healer seems to be heading for this town.”

That got me to tense up and react with a panicked shrug. I tried to play it off. 

Mikado continued but turned to me, "and he’s already right under our noses. The reports of a missing son of the hero.”

I still had my mask on, but the old man Mikado saw right through the disguise. I replied, “Yeah, I’ll see you later.”

Lord Mikado said, “What? What are you doing, Terran? Now that Akari is here, we need to talk.”

I used my breakthrough, and said, “Goodbye, Elder!”

The old man showed me kindness to help me in many ways, however I’m sorry, but I’ve already put my blunder in the past and moved on.

Now that I didn’t want to go back, I activated a breakthrough and ran out of the place in an instant.

I jumped out of the gambling den, the stairs, and the town.

For some reason, mother was holding sluggish merchants on both sides. “Heeeeeey, everyone, be quiet! They’re not all blacklisted merchants!” 

The princess raised her voice while showing her annoyance to panicked nobles and delinquents. “What exactly do you mean? Moreover, according to what I’ve heard, Minister Shihtzu is here. I’m not going stop to listen to anything! Hey, get out of the way and let us in!”

Reval said, “Hey, I’m going to capture the merchants who are trying to escape, Piper, Poh. And we’ll hear what happened.”

Piper stuttered, “uh-hun, I understand, Reval… em, wi-with my flute…. Right away, I’ll manipulate them all and make them confess. erm, no matter what they’re hiding, they’ll spit it all out.”

If even one step behind in my breakthrough state, no one can catch up anymore.

In addition, the hastily made team were unorganized and dealing with the disaster of the underground gambling den. Just made it, and fortunately the entrance of the gambling den was in turmoil.

Akari shouted, “Hey, Terran! Hey, wait! Wait, Terran!”

Sadie called, “Little man… please… please talk to me!”

Uriko called out, “Terran, where are you going? It’s me. I’m right here, Terran! Stop, st-stay there!”

Reval said, “Terran, what are you doing? Wait, won’t you say anything to us, I won’t let you leave again!”

Piper said, “That’s… uh, my flute…. uh, no good, out of range.”

Poh said, “Wait, Terran!”

Even if everyone noticed me, they couldn’t kick ordinary people out of the way, so they weren’t able to chase after me right away.

Don’t look back, I’m… No, there are only three of them giving chase.

Akari shouted again, “I told you to wait, hey, Terran!”

Sadie cried out, “Little man!”

Uriko shouted, “Can’t you hear me telling you to stop!”

Only three people scraped through the crowd, jumped out, and chased after me.

Akari looked back and apologized, “I’m sorry, Reval, Poh, Piper! This is ――”

Uriko announced, “Leave it to us! Hey, Terran!”

But more than that, I clicked my tongue, “tch, Of all people, those three. Darn.”

Enuma said, "Hou~, Akari is a matter of course, it is that the other two are capable. Even if they cannot catch up with you in the breakthrough state, they will never be so far away that they lose sight you."

I gritted my teeth, “Nu…”

Enuma said, "When your time expires. they might be able to catch up."

While we were in such a chase, none of us had noticed yet. A shadow was overlooking us against the backdrop of the moon shining in the dark night.

“THERE~ ・YOU~ ・ARE~”

The shadow flapped its jet-black wings and shed tears while smiling. “That been said, all those swarming flies shall be erased… THAT・ONE・BE・LONGS・TO・ME”

The madness of the goddess, clad in the armor of a Dark Valkyrie, was closing in on me.
