A tease from the author [Special]

"Wwwwwwwe are so BACK! Kisha Shinbun here, back in Tokyo and the set you all know and love. Damn, was my trip to Budapest something! I was commentating, interviewing, getting my head shaved bald against my consent... Yeah, eventful shit. Anyway, I'm never the center of the discussion, I'm just the drama reporter. And joining me as my first guest to have on after getting back is ole Mario!" Kisha declared.

Hello.

"So Mario, you watch the tournament?"

More than that, I wrote the whole thing.

"Yeah, yeah, this shit wasn't scripted, wise guy. Anyway, we're here to do most of the stuff we did back when I first called you on. Your favorite players, your favorite games, and of course your most hated ones. Both from this specific tournament and everything overall."

For both characters and games or just games?

"You wanna do specifics and overalls? More runtime for me the better."

Then we'll start with that... and a commercial break.

"Really!? We've barely done shit! All we did was an introduction!"

Which is all that's needed. You said you wanted more runtime, and that's what I'm going to give you.

"WHY!?"

Well, because I actually want to squeeze in a short arc to coincide with International Chess Day, which is the day after this chapter goes up. I don't just want to do a special. But don't worry, I'll give a very lengthy interview on Season 7: The Chess Olympics arc, because there's lots of stuff I'd like to discuss in interview format rather than just in my Author Commentaries. Not to mention, me pushing the interview until after this next arc allows me to factor them into my proper top 10 in the series lists. If you recall, I first did this before Season 5, so I was unable to properly factor it in. Though me wanting to do more than just a single special chapter for International Chess Day is the main reason this segment is getting pushed back.

"What, you don't want to just play a game with me like you did last year?" Kisha pouted.

I have inspiration for something cool. As such, I'll be squeezing something in before our interview. But don't worry, I will be giving my thoughts on the Chess Olympics as well as updating my top 10 lists for the series. But before that, I just want to squeeze in one more arc to factor in. Don't worry, this one will be the typical season length, so don't expect more than 30 chapters for this one.  I simply don't want a repeat of what happened where I first did this, in which I did it after Season 4, but before Season 5, meaning I couldn't factor anything in Season 5 into my lists. 

Thus, I hope you enjoy what I have in store for you in this next season of the series.
