1st wish (part 2)

The whole way to Hana's house she was holding back the tears and anger. Around 3 am in the morning she reaches the house and knocks on the door. Hana was coincidentally awake at that time.

She opens the door. Gets shocked by seeing mahiru fully drenched and trembling. She falls in her arms and bursts into tears.

"Wh..what happened mahiru why are you here at this time. You are completely drenched" hana asked

Mahiru kept crying

"Let's get in the house first" hana said while being anxious

Hana took mahiru to the living room, sat on the sofa. Hana ordered a maid to get a towel. Hana's parents also came down with all the commotion.

The maid came back with a towel. Hana's mother took it and dried Mahiru's hair. After that they tried to calm her down and ask what happened.

" m..my...my father and mother we..w.. were killed in front of me. The house was under attack. Please S...sa.save the people in the house"

Both Hana and her parents were shocked but rather than questioning more, they tried to calm down Mahiru. They both know that bombarding her with questions is not gonna help resolve the situation.

Hana's father ordered male servant to send some of the best sword man and magician he had to go at hestin's house.

And a female servant to prepare some clothes and stay with hana and her mother if they need something.

He ordered not to make too much noise and not to make the room crowded in which mahiru was.

After some magicians and swordsmen were sent, Hana's father also went there on horse. The rain had stopped by that time.

Mahiru calmed down a little and she was clinging to Hana's mother taking deep breaths. Hana and her mother were still shocked about the news.

Hana's father Hecter had a great number of swordsmen and magicians working for him. He was ruler of the Henth region, located in the north east side of Nerk kingdom, a little closer to Etos region.

Hana's mother Lilia was good friends with Mahiru's mother Livia. They used to be with each other a lot. So she was shocked on hearing about the attack. But she stayed calm and composed to not cause any further panic.

Upon reaching Hestin's house. He saw that the whole house was on fire and some guards were dead outside. It was a scene which can easily fill someone with much fear that one can start shaking. Hecter saw that his people were already taking action. Magicians were chanting water spells, swordsmen were going inside and coming out with some survivors, while some were searching and killing the criminals.

Hecter was also a swordsman and a masters level one. He had his sword with him, he went inside the house and started looking for Hestin and Livia. Some swordsman followed him inside.

On the first floor only the maid and servants were found, Hecter ordered his man to take them out instead of coming with him.

When Hecter reached the 2nd floor, he started looking through every door he passed through.

He opened one after another door in hope to find Hestin and Livia. After breaking the 5th or 6th door he found Hestin on the ground, around a little far away from Hestin there was a woman.

Hecter quickly went in and placed his ears on hestin's chest, the heart wasn't beating , then he went toward the woman and checked her face. She was someone else. She was not Livia, she was also dead.

Hecter ran out of the room and started checking the left rooms. When he was getting closer to the last room he heard a voice

"St...stop!"

Hecter turned toward the room, kicked open it and he saw Livia and another person there, his hands were around Livia's throat. Hecter rushed in, unsheathed his sword and slayed his arm.

Livia started catching up to breath.

"Get out of the house, livia!!!!" Hecter shouted

Livia stood up and ran towards the outside. The swordsman and magician were familiar with Livia and they started treating her.

Livia looked toward the room she was in.

'Crakkkkk' glass breaks

Hecter and the person were fighting in the air while falling down. Hecter cloths get tangled in tree branches, the person falls on ground, he uses the chance to escape.

Hecter cuts his clothes with his sword, falls down and follows the person. He was making the distance between them longer and longer.

Hecter shouts "like I would let you escape!"

Hecter takes a chance and throws his sword at him and it hits him in the heart area from the back..

Hecter was not aiming to kill him but it didn't go as he thought. He takes back the sword and runs towards Livia.

Livia knew that Hestin was killed. She was trying to hold back her tears and asked Hecter where Mahiru was.

Hecter told him everything. Livia felt a little relieved but still the pain of losing her husband outweighed the feeling of relief.

Hecter and others saved the rest of the people in the house and went back.

At 5 am they reached the house. It was still dark outside.

At Hecter house when hana heard the sounds of horses she ran and opened the door, she saw livia. Hana hugged livia and took her inside the house.

Mahiru was still clinging to Lilia. Livia saw her and said

"Thank goodness Mahiru you are safe."

Mahiru heard the words, turned her head and saw her mother. She again started crying and ran into her arms.

Lilia also cried tears of relief.

"If something have happened to you also, i dont think i would have the will to live on."said livia

Both mother and daughter took time to calm down. The rest of Hana's family left them alone in their room.

After all that incident Hecter stayed at home that day. He sent some people to Hestin house to find something against the culprit, but nothing was found.

It was not like Mahiru was a total spoiled child, she had knowledge of some sword play and she is a good magician. It was the scene of seeing her father get killed and she also misunderstand the other lady as her own mother that made her lose the will to fight against. It was easy to think that the other lady was her mother because it was night time and you can't clearly see who was there.

And it was also her first experience in a real battle. But it's not like she completely left the house leaving others to die, she had burn marks over her body.

She tried to save as many people as possible while she was escaping the house, Hecter also found some servants who said that.

The number of attackers was also a cause that Mahiru thought of finding help.

The closest and strongest help she could find was from Hana's father, so she came directly to their house.

On the same day something major happened with Hikaru and Yuki.

It was the same day when the party was organised in Nerk kingdom, during the day Hikaru and Yuki were focused on their training.

Hiakru was trying to use lightning magic

"I guess I can't use it , I have no talent for magic" said hikaru

"You have to try and image what the lightning feels like" aki replied

"I will try one last time with all my brain power" Hikaru said while raising his hands

Yuki was beneath the tree using healing magic on a dead plant

Hikaru raised his one hand and held it with another. Then he started to imagine how lightning strikes.

Light shines from Hikaru's hand, then with a great speed the lightning comes out, it went towards Yuki

"Yukiiiii!!" Hikaru shouted

Yuki managed to avoid it by a split second.

"Look Behind the Tree is gonna fall!!" Hiaru shouted again

The tree was struck by lightning and started to fall upon yuki. Dust was spread in the air.

He ran closer and the dust settled down and he saw that Yuki was safe. Yuki managed to jump just before the tree was going to hit her, yes she was able to use her legs.

The wheel chair was on one side of the tree and yuki was on the other. Hikaru jumped upon her and hugged her tightly

"I...I'm sorry, I'm sorry"

Yuki on the contrast of being scared, she was beaming with a large smile and said

"I was able to use my legs, I can feel them"

The tears of guilt were still there but some of them were replaced by tears of joy.

Hikaru calms down and asks after apologising "can you stand up?"

"No, but I can move them a little,"Yuki said with a smile.

"May be it will take a little more time so that she can fully get back on her legs" said Aki

Aki scolded hikaru "you should be a lot more careful"

"Sorry sorry I will keep in mind not to practice around people and be aware of surrounding"

Time passed, the sun was about to hide, it was almost night. Yuki was still outside enjoying the view and waiting for the old couple, Hikaru was preparing dinner inside.

While Yuki was looking at the sunset. Two person comes in front of the house and one of them greets yuki

"Hello miss"

"Ah.. hello" Yuki replies with confusion

"I am Lues. I work under Sir Nefrim. I am here to find someone, can I get your help?

" s..sure."

"Thanks for helping us, aa.. May I know your name Miss."

" i am yuki"

As soon as Yuki said that, she was attacked with a spear of ice by Lues.

Hikaru heard sound outdoor so he comes out while asking

"What happ......." he saw his sister

Her body was pierced by many spears. Hikaru lost word, he was trying to not believe in what he was seeing.

Aki and Sara also come there and get shocked by the scene.

Lues orders the person next to him

"Send the message to sir Nefrim, the work is done"

He follows the order and runs back to Nefrim.

Lues raised his hand in the sky, a big block of ice formed. He throwed it at Yuki.

Hikaru was standing there before he was able to move. He saw it happen, his legs left all the strength. He fell on his knees.

"Extremely sorry sir, for making you see such a scene. But i was ordered to do it so please don't harbour hatred towards me, if possible I also didn't want to kill such a sweet child" Lues sighs

Hikaru's face was blank, not making any expression. With half opened mouth only tears came down from eyes.

Aki rushed toward hikaru and said

"Ca...calm down hikaru, calm down yu-"

He was cut in middle of completing the sentence by hikaru saying

"Aki, you remember the 2 wishes?"

"Yes i do bu-"

"I want to use my first wish"
