A silence deeper than sleep rested over the glittering nebulae of the Starsea Sanctum. The skies here never stood still—galaxies spun in slow reverence, and stardust fell like quiet snow.

Floating amidst the stellar waters was Alto Mezzanine.

His wings—torn and blood-crusted—drifted like soft sails. The violent transformation into Sang d’étoile, the rampaging Blood God form, had taken nearly everything out of him. His body still shimmered with the dual traces of stellar and blood affinity... unstable, pulsing faintly.

Unconscious. Dreaming. But not at peace.

Far away, inside the Mizuyari Manor, Shizuku paused mid-step. His senses flared. His mana surged.

His eyes widened.

Without another word, he vanished in a crack of lightning.

Time slowed as Shizuku arrived—his coat fluttering softly in the void-like current of the sanctum. His gaze locked onto Alto.

He didn’t speak. He didn’t shout.

He gently placed a hand on his husband's body.

And felt everything.

The pain. The energy drain. The pressure. The cost.

With a wave of his hand, Shizuku stabilized the ambient mana, dissolving the lingering blood rage. He then lifted Alto effortlessly into his arms, the motion natural, practiced—like carrying a vow.

He looked down at him, brushed Alto’s now blackened hair bangs aside, and whispered:

Shizuku:
"You didn’t have to fight that hard, you know."

The storm outside had passed. Moonlight filtered in quietly.

Alto lay in bed, clean and bandaged. The room glowed dimly with runes of restoration and protection—placed one by one by Shizuku himself.

Sitting beside him, Shizuku adjusted the blanket over Alto’s chest.

He leaned down.

Pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.

And whispered into the quiet room:
Shizuku:
"I love you… French star."

A faint smile curled on Alto’s lips, even in sleep.

Shizuku stayed there, holding his hand, watching over him like he always had—before the crown, before the wars, before the universes even knew their names.

And the stars above shimmered in harmony.
