Chapter 30:

A Week Talk #10

Am I losing Interest in Writing?

What a week, ey?

Stop Killing Game initiative gets more than enough signatures, then VShojo just got blasted because their own doing.
There is also a Kickstarter game that I talked about before; it finally reached its goal, I found a new manga provider platform, and so much more. Oh boy, there are just too many to talk about.

Let's start with the SKG initiative.
I... I just couldn't believe it. This got so much attention that Ross got blasted with what seemed to be a fake, defamatory claim.
It is so sad that a good initiative like this gets treatment like crap. Like, what is the benefit of shutting games, honestly? You, big corporate guy, just a shame to admit having a bad game. There are so many benefits to just letting a game live for a long time. You guys just don't get it.

I'm honestly so tired of seeing people making excuses about how the corporations that own the game IP should have the right to shut the game down or just outright wipe it from existence. Like, that was a garbage opinion. You honestly thought absolutely no one would want to try those games? I know I want to, and I know other content creators probably want it too. It's just that you, big corporate guy, are just ashamed, right? I would assume that your bad game was shown on the internet made you feel embarrassed? That's my guess because that's just how I look at things. At least as a gamer looking at you, corp dudes.

Not only bad games, honestly. There are also good games that got shut down or wiped out. For example, my favorite mobile games, Darkness Rises and TapSonic Top: Music Grand prix. Like, I can play them anymore, even though they have the potential to be playable offline. If only they would just let it be and let the community work it out together. I'm sure that we still have both games up and running despite the online feature not being available.

Huff. I'm so confused with these people who don't get it. It makes me get a headache, so let's just move on.

VShojo.
Oh boy, what happened?
Ironmouse just revealed one of the darkest secrets, huh?
I'm actually so angry when that Ironmouse's video went up. Like, I trust them. I trust them to be a good corporation, but they stab us that easily.
Good news coming from these events, though, the talents keep their thing intact with them. Yes! They still had them even when they went out and stopped working with VShojo. But also, Ironmouse's new Tiltify fundraiser got 10 times bigger than the initial target. Yes! It got to a million donations. Let's go, Ironmouse!

After searching around the internet to find some kind of clue to why the fuck VShojo became like this, I stumbled upon Gigguk's clip from SleepyClips. Very interesting, huh?
So, in that video, Garnt talked about how VShojo has been making big projects one after another, like rapid fire. He asked the age-old question, "How and where the fuck did the money come from?"
Hmmm, very interesting, indeed, huh? I leave you at that, and you figure it out yourself.

Next up, Necrofugitive's Kickstarter and other games that I anticipated.
Oh boy, you have no idea how excited I am knowing that I will be a part of the credits on a video game that I anticipated. It's an unreal feeling.

Then there is... Eh hm...
The Demons Told Me To Make This Game
Or TDTMTMTG.
Yup, that's a game name, alright. 😂
Honestly, I thought it would be a full release, but no, it was just an early access release. I think I want to wait for that game a little bit before it cooks to perfection a little more. I'll keep an eye on this game until in a state that I'm satisfied with it.

Next up, K Manga, have you heard that before?
This is a fairly new manga provider app. They just had their 2nd anniversary, and in their apps, they have some good manga, and honestly, I think this deserves its own chapter, so I'll make that a thing after this, but for now, I'm just happy I can finally read Ace of Diamond legally.

And finally, 7 Little Bitchies.
Dang, that was rough. I just wanted to make a silly little series, and I spent one month coming up with that. It would absolutely going to be a double-edged sword. Some people will hate it, and others are going to enjoy it.

You see, this series was never meant to be serious; I just made that to relieve stress from making TTD.  No joke, I will absolutely be surprised if anyone even liked or even saw it in the first place. But lo and behold, some people saw it, and I'm happy.
Thanks, anonymous reader, I'm glad you read it.

I think that's it for this week. I hope you have a good week, and I'll see you next week.
