Chapter 5 : Chaos in the town (1)

A loud explosion distracted Amertia and Leo. The two had different thoughts at the same time.

Amertia: An undead! Does this mean I get to see one?

Tia frowned.

The creature hissed and jumped up and down, destroying the stone building.

The woman frowned.

Tia looked around her. People were injured, and the strange creature continued to destroy homes and buildings in the vicinity.

People were crowding together to escape. They were looking for another way out. But in Amertia's ears, the explosions had stopped. There was no smoke, no wind. But debris kept falling as if to tempt them to keep running like mice being chased by a cat.

Tia realized something. The creature was throwing building debris to block their way out while toying with them.

Leo stared at her face for a moment. Seeing her calmness and indifference, he had no other choice but to believe her lie.

Since when was the butler, Albert, so friendly to give out free medicine?

Maybe he was just that kind because Amertia was a woman.

Leo obediently drank the potion. Although it wasn't as good as an S-class medicine, a normal potion could at least reduce his bleeding.

The monster suddenly jumped in front of the crowd!

Tia jumped quickly, carrying the still-injured Leo to a place far enough away from the monster.

There was a church.

Hidden, far from the city's settlements. This could minimize damage if they fought there.

A knight threw his sword at the snake monster. The snake parried it easily, as if he had just been thrown a toy sword.

They moved forward together to attack it, and the monster seemed to be playing with them.

One of the mages attacked it with ice, freezing its legs. A man with a sword jumped and attacked it from the air.

But the 3-meter-tall monster freed itself from the shackles and attacked them.

"Grrrooaaar!!!!"

Tia saw an opportunity to hide Leo.

She immediately ran towards the church. She placed the man hidden under the altar table.

After ensuring his safety, she turned around.

"Don't move from there," Tia looked around, looking for a weapon she could use.

Tia followed the system's directions, pressing a button behind the god's statue. Immediately, a mysterious formation was revealed, and a sword embedded in a chest appeared in the middle of the room.

A loud roar was heard. The illusionary snake monster noticed the presence inside the church and left the people who were distracting it.

"What's wrong... Why is that monster going over there?!"

The injured adventurer frowned.

"Didn't a girl bring her injured boyfriend to hide there?"
