Chapter 10:

8.1 The Eight Pillars

Jupiter Descendants: The Torchbearer

Listen, every man and child, regardless of age, beliefs, and ideals, all must adhere to the eight pillars of the society. They shaped who we are. The pillars were derived by the Exemplars who liberated us from the gnaws of darkness.

The first pillar is called Ruler. They are the noble lords, who led the people through dignity and wisdom

The second pillar is called Impaler. They are the mighty warriors, through strength and bravery banish the foul Undeaths.

The third pillar is called Chopper. They are the resilient farmers, who provide us the tears of the Pure, through patience and care.

The fourth pillar is called Needle. They are the fine weavers, who protected us from the elements, through precision and connection.

The fifth pillar is called Carver. They are the diligent builders, through hard work and persistence, they construct magnificent structures.

The sixth pillar is called Aider. They are the curious explorers. Through perception and awareness, they discover new wonders.

The seventh pillar is called Whacker. They are the just Law. Justice prevail, through integrity and accountability.

And the last pillar is called Traumatizer. They are who we are, deep within us all. Chaos, greed, apathy, and our bottomless pride, we inherited them from the hubris of ancient men.

The gods may reject us. We inherited sins from our ancestors, but in this pit of darkness, we must prevail. We must prove to the gods that we are the very man they created, those with the qualities of the gods shall stand against the tides of time.

Remark:

These students are all idiots! Why would they put these scripts on their references? These are all outdated, obsolete pieces of information. They’re getting ZERO marks this time, I don’t care. They can kiss the rocks however they want, but not in my class! I want all EXAMINERS to know this, all history myths are BANNED! BANNED IN MY CLASS! You tell those to your students!

P.S. We do not talk about the past here, we talk about the future of biopsychology!

Sincerely, Examination Management, Leto Jardene
