Chapter 1:

Dimension of atom

Machine Atom

As I opened my eyes, I found myself enclosed in a capsule that gave off a quiet buzzing noise. A dark box containing me, but I could still move.

...I don't remember falling inside a box!!

My heartbeat rose as I panicked for my life.

Worst case scenario, I'm kidnapped. Should I call for help? Or act unconscious and wait for an opening—

This is freaking me out, man! I'm getting out this instant!

Even worse than kidnapping would be a coffin death through lack of oxygen, you fool!

Calm down... let's think it over slowly.

As I pressed my ears to focus on my memories, I let out a laugh within a few seconds when it all clicked.

I am THE GENSHI, the first ever human to create an ultra-realistic simulation!! I made a gaming chamber to start the damn game, lol. Should have added an introductory voice that would let me know instantly that I'm still in the loading phase of getting isekai'd into my world! I was worried for nothing, hahahha!

After I cooled off, a gentle blow of air could be felt through my palms that were sweaty and shaky.

I ain't scared of anything, panicking is a natural reaction when anybody finds themselves trapped!!

No, I thought, letting out a sigh.

Didn't I even add that AC in case I really lost my cool and had to know this was my own foolish doin—

Alright, enough with discouraging myself! I'm a big, brave man to even put myself for testing!

I was too excited to run the first test because I was too lazy to find the errors, I thought, kicking the capsule and grinding my teeth.

"Okay, I'm just a stupid, cowardly tester!! Let's run the world already!?!" I finally let out my voice.

As I stopped realizing any further how much less of a man I was, I soon found myself in a dreamy state. The vision faded as my senses felt my body going numb, and then it all began.

[Simulation of the Universe loaded successfully]

A final notification emerged as I left the world behind.

And within the simulation, the story began...

On the last morning of the year, in the Kyushu region of Kumamoto, Japan, curtains unfolded, letting sunlight fall on the face of a young man.

He woke up, struggling from a dream that always seems to end at the right moment, leaving him unable to recall anything after that. He wore an annoyed expression as he walked up to a mirror.

"Damn your memory, boy," he muttered, twisting his head and arms to loosen his body. He looked at the mirror again. "Morning, Genshi. Yet another day since TWENTY TWO YEARS! of your mess up!"

He drop kicks his bed in frustration as he complains, "You had ONE JOB! What was it?"

"To check for potential errors and notifying the Company that you are stuffing yourself as the test subject—"

"Why was I so lazy? Oh my god... and now I'm stuck here without a way exit as a developer could please!" he quickly peeked at the mirror to look at his disappointing face again.

Let me explain—

"NO, LET ME!" he screamed, turning right towards me!

Goddamn it! This guy really creeps me out, and how does he get the exact angle every time!?

So in short, he's thinking that at least when he joined the simulation, the whole duration he's here is maybe getting recorded... and yes, he's actually right! Although he's not aware of me, the narrator who is cursed with tailing him since he was born in this simulation and until he gets the hell out.

"Alright, now that you know—"

Of course my briefing is enough, unlike his chatters, so I cut his words.

"From tomorrow, I'll portray my ideal self... for when I get out!! Will I be able to show my great tale of getting isekai'd into a simulation!"

He leaves the room to get ready for work.

Stating this pledge right before every New Year, and yet the only new things that happen to me are problems and years. He really likes to crack the truth in his mind.

I will erase all recordings and the eyes until now, if they're watching me now and having fun not helping.

Somehow this guy's sharp on random things that makes me question how'd he even land here? He's not even capable of erasing himself and then threatens me unaware, how cute.

And that's how the young, goofy, yet genius Genshi starts his day! Off to work right after the daily dose of motivation! He walks out of the house as he gets going towards the station with his lame sarcasm.

Genshi has organized his emotional and reasoning self as separate to take control of all his situations. I guess that's what you learn after living two extra decades in your own isekai.

"Now why does this guy not just get a job within this world and actually research how to get out of his world?" Genshi asks himself.

You guessed it, he's just a scared cat who's got no guts to try and die.

"Because my first priority is to check out the world before getting out of here! How disappointing would the real world be if I returned empty-handed and not even living a complete life, so here I am running along with my grand plan!"

Is basically what I said, but without losing dignity.

Meanwhile, at a stadium not far away...

After an hour in a ballpark stuffed with a roaring crowd near the Kyushu region, people were anticipating an exciting game of baseball, which got postponed due to an unknown reason.

As the hot sun started to steam the folks waiting inside for at least a response from the speakers that they can refund their tickets and head home,

Suddenly, the speakers crack, making a violent screech. And then it spoke:

"A very Good Morning to every one of you present here!"

A young man takes over the gathering as the lights went off. No visibility was found when the entire ballpark was blocked from the sun as they only hear an echo lasting in their surroundings.

"Uhh, I do not know what match was going on but hey!"

A spotlight is introduced onto the crowd that randomly circled the people.

"Why would you bother?... Cause of course it was a highly anticipated match for you all, right!?"

To which the crowd shouts a yes with a lasting wave of noise.

"Okay, okay! But as you already know... it's game over..."

The spotlight instantly switched into the center of the ground where a mini stage was unknowingly set up, and a man stood on top of it.

"Let's head home, shall we?"

The crowd, that was supposed to respond with anger for wasting their time, suddenly lit up when the lights and cameras focused onto the man.

The people who already fled the ballpark came crashing back in after hearing just the remaining crowd go wild.

"Uhhh, what's going on?" he laughs, looking around. "Why are you people growing in number every second?"

The crowd pushes around and starts to chant three words in sync.

"Hey, the show's over, folks?! Hahahahaa... might as well take the chance to get your cars out while it's empty in the parking lot!!"

The crowd showed no response to that sentence, and they just kept uttering the words more and more when the man held his stance.

"Damn it, guess the show must go on if you insist so much! I don't know why are you all so interested, though!!"

The roof unlocks the skies for the rays to finally enlighten the face of the greatest Magician alive.

Genshi Arisawa.

The people dominate the commentators sitting in their chamber and establish a harmony of words to cheer for him.

Altogether loud and clear, three words could be heard beyond the ballpark.

When finally Genshi takes over the show.

"Welcome!!.....to my show, DIMENSIONS OF ATOM!!"
