Chapter 11:

Women made my heart race.

A jokers world

Hiakru, yuki , sana and aki went to buy a house. When they were talking about whether to buy the house or not, the estate agent heard the name Miss Melli from their mouth.

" Sir, are you a relative of Miss Melli?" Asked the estate agent to hikaru

Hikaru thought about whether he should tell him about it or not. They could easily capture the person if he tried to do something and get information about Nefrim from him. Hikaru took a chance.

He signals yuki, sana and Aki with his eyes to be ready if something happens.

"No I am not, but these two are raised by Miss Melli," said Hikaru with a smile while pointing at Sana and Aki.

Sana held the sword with one hand while it was in the sheath. Yuki lowered her wand a little to point it towards the ground. Aki rather than using his wand he was keeping a close eye on the agent's movements.

" ohhh myyy!!! Why didn't you tell me? Miss Melli has helped me a lot."

Everyone relaxed after hearing those words.

' So he was helped by Miss Melli huh. It's not that strange that there are people who know about Miss Melli on the island. When I was in the Henth region training with Sana. I met a lot of people who knew about her.'

" Let me return the favor even if it is a little bit, please come with me"

He took them to a big house situated at the east coast of the island.

"Ahh.....Sorry but we don't have money to buy a house like this" said Hikaru

"Don't worry about money. Its original price is ******* but for you it's ***** "

'Are you kidding me? It's cheap,' thought hikaru.

"It's so cheap!" shouted Aki in the background.

'Thanks Miss Melli, Thank you so much. Your kindness is helping us so much,' thought hikaru while joining his hand and thanking Miss Melli.

" We want it now," said Sana with excitement.

Hikaru looked towards Yuki, she was also beaming with a great smile. Hikaru smiles a little seeing her.

"Can we look in the house first" said Hikaru

"Of course"

They went inside the house. The furniture, floor , ceiling everything was well made. It was a 2 story building. 6 bedrooms, 1 kitchen,a dining room,a living room,a front yard and backyard and the thing hikaru wanted the most, a large bathroom.

The bathroom was enough for sealing the deal from Hikaru's side. After getting a house tour the agent asked them

"So sir your answer "

"We want it, " said everyone in sync.

They did the paper work and bought it. They could have stayed at the academy dorms but it would have hindered their main motive so they decided to buy a house.

When all of them were in the living room on the sofa.

"So what are we going to do for dinner?" Asked hikaru

"It's better to eat outside. We all are exhausted and you are the most exhausted . Neither we have ingredients nor the strength to buy them" said Aki

" I am good with that, even I don't want to cook after getting slapped "said hikaru

"What's that have to do with cooking?" asked sana

"The sound of slap still rings in my head. And i get depressed thinking what will happen to my image if the words spread around the academy, my social life will be over. What if they send some people to arrest me" said Hikaru holding his head

" Don't over think. It will be fine brother" said Yuki while patting Hikaru's back.

"Then let's go to eat outside , you will forget about that incident after having a great meal"said sana while comforting hikaru

"Okay" replied hikaru

They changed clothes and left the house.It was night time. Hiakru tied his hair in the back.

"Is there any shop open at this time where I can cut my hair?" Asked hikaru

"I don't think so. You should cut them tomorrow" said Aki

They picked a place to eat while looking through the shops of the island. They took the table at the far end near the window.

Yuki and Aki sits toward the wall side while Sana and Hiakru sits in front of them.

A waitress comes to give them the menu, water and asks to call her when they have decided.

Aki and Hikaru quickly decided what they wanted to order while Sana and Yuki were still looking through the menu.

Hikaru looked around. There were 2 more families in there.There were 3 waitresses, a clock on the wall, dry fruits on each table. A calm and soothing atmosphere.

The furniture and color in there also played a great role to make people feel more relaxed. No noises from outside can come in. You can see a more relaxing view from the window rather than seeing the people outside rushing through the streets, all busy in their work, the window showed a graden. Not only plants which can bloom flowers were there but also trees, bushes, a small pond in the garden, even the stones in the garden were looking like an art piece.

Sana and Yuki decided what to order. The food in this world is pretty much similar to Hikaru's original world.

They have rice,wheat etc with some more things which are not available in the original world.

They called the waitress, told her what they wanted.

Hikaru takes a dry fruit from the bowl and eats it.

The door opened, hikaru's eyes and head moved subconsciously towards the door, a girl peeks in.

Hikaru takes a closer look at her face, she was one of the women Sikaru got slapped by.

Hikaru turned his head towards Yuki as fast as he could.

"Looks like there are free seats here" said Hana

She comes in, hikaru turns back his head one more time but this time with cautions so she can't see him.

Another woman comes in.

"That's a good thing " said Mahiru

It's the other woman who slapped him.

Hikaru went back to hiding his face.

"Mam please take a seat wherever you like" said the waitress

:clank clank clank:

Hikaru's hearing power increased. He could hear the sound of the women coming closer to their seats loud and clear.

They sit on the sofa just behind Hikaru, separated by a thin layer of wall. They sit facing each other.

Hikaru holds the water glass, drinks a sip. The only sound he can hear is the woman behind him and his own heart beat.

Hikaru's inner thoughts started running wild-

'Now I can finally say, women made my heart beat loud.

Why… why of all the places you have to come here. I don't want to make a scene here. I have an image to maintain even if I don't care about it that much.

Now I have to play hide and seek with them.ahhhhhhhh'

Hikaru sighed.

The waitress comes with their food.

Mahiru and hana were ordering their food.

Hikaru takes a bite,

"The day was fully tiring, hfffffff"says Mahiru while stretching.

In the back seat, Hikaru leans forward.

"This place feels so refreshing "says Mahiru and looks around

Hikaru leans toward Sana

"What happened" asks sana

"Nothing" says hikaru while giving a fake smile

"it's too delicious" says Yuki in a little loud voice

Mahiru turns her head a little to the back then looks in front again.

"what happened ?" asks Hana

"I just thought I heard the voice of the person who saved us on the ship." whispers Mahiru

"so i tried to look toward them but it's bad manners so i turned back"

'Manners saved me, manners given by your mom and dad saved me. Thank you very much Mom and Dad' thought hikaru

Hikaru was in a battle not a real one. But still one to protect his image.

Everytime someone asks Hikaru anything he answers in a very low voice.

Hikaru and the others finished their food.

"It was delicious " says Sana

"Shall we go back then" asks Yuki

"I have to go to washroom you can go first" said Hikaru

"We will wait and relax a little more before you come back" says Aki

"Ya, it okay we can wait" says yuki

" Thanks" said Hikaru while frowning at Aki

Hikaru stands up, walks a little, opens the door, again walks a little and enters the men's washroom.

Opens the tap, fills his hand with water and splashes it on his face.

'I was going to wait here until the women were gone but this plan failed. Now i to be careful that the other woman facing the door don't see me when i go out'

Hikaru prepares himself, leaves the washroom and heads towards the door.

Hikaru opens the door slightly,

"I will go to washroom for a sec" said Mahiru

Hiakru closes the door back and runs toward the washroom, he waits until Mahiru enters the women's washroom.

He ran back to the door, opened it a little to take a peek at Hana. She was looking outside the window.

Hikaru goes back to his seat.

"ah, you are back. Then let's go" said yuki

Hikaru hides between and behind them so that hana can't see his face.

Hikaru safely made it back home.

'It was a pretty chaotic day' thought hikaru.

All of them were in the living room. Hiakru asks yuki

"Are you sure though?"

"About what?"

"That Luke will not catch you. I mean I understand what Miss Melli said. No person can remember someone face if they only saw a glimpse of their, for almost a year"

"I will just change many appearance a little bit, that will be enough"

'change appearance?' thought Hikaru

His imagination again ran wild.

"Wait, are you going to become a gyaru?" yelled Hiakru

"What's gyaru?" questioned Aki and Sara

"It's a way of dressing and doing makeup which completely changes your appearance, you also change your way of speaking. And I am not going to do it" Answered Yuki

"Then goth?" again yelled Hiakru

"NO" said Yuki and hit Hikaru on head

"I am just going to change my hair style and put on glasses"

"oh, that's good," said Hikaru.

"Well i am going to sleep, the traveling made me tired" says Aki and stands up

"We should all go to sleep, I am pretty sure everyone is tried" says Sana

Everyone said good night to each other and went to sleep.

The next day Hikaru, Yuki and Sana went to different shops.

First they went to buy ingredients for the meal.

Then they went to cut Hikaru's hair.

Then they found a shop for buying a new sword for Hikaru.

"You can go back home if you want to." Said hikaru to Yuki

"I want to look around the shops here so it's okay"

Hikaru looks around while walking, he sees a slave shop.

"Are you curious about slaves" asks Sana

"Ya, I just thought why do they allow such thing"

"They are the children who lost their families or are abandoned. The one who raises them and hands to other people takes good care of them and the one they are handed are made sure that they don't misbehave with them. Same goes for adult slaves"

Hikaru gets shocked

"That's a lot different from what I expected. They are doing a good thing then"

"But there are always someone who don't follows these rules and sells slave illegally or force make someone a slave and also misbehaves with them"

Reality hits back to Hikaru.

" There it is. We can find a sword here"

They went into the shop and Hikaru buyed a sword.Then they went straight home.

At living room-

"You are not going to take it to the academy right?" Asks Sana

"Why?"

"How will you explain to them that you are a magician and a swordsman, an excellent one at that" said Yuki

"You are abnormal. You are a magician , a swordsman and a joker. How will they react at least think about that" said Aki

"You are right " says Hikaru and tilts his head.
