Chapter Three: The grasp of death

Just as he reached for the front door key, he heard something behind him. A door opening. He spun around, and his worst nightmare stood before him. The figure. 

It rushed at Jonas, and knocked him to the floor. The figure tried to drive his knife into Jonas's neck, but Jonas held it up. Jonas knocked the figure to the ground, knocking the knife across the room. The figure blocked his way to the knife. Maybe this was it. The end of the road. Life's last goodbye.

But he couldn't die like this. There was a chance.

Jonas ran past the figure, and dove at the knife. He successfully grabbed it. Maybe this wasn't the end? He lunged at the figure, and stabbed him in the leg. Jonas dropped the knife in the process. He knew what to do.

Then he did a backflip,  snapped the bad guy's neck and saved the day!
