It was normal.

The next day interviews were held.

Out of the 6 only 2 passed.

That day Hikaru and Sana were preparing for their first lecture.

The next day when everyone was eating breakfast-

"What's the timing for you Aki?" Asked Hikaru

"Pretty much the same as you two, I can eat lunch with you"

"Then we can all eat together." Suggested sana

All agreed.

Yuki changed her hairstyle and wore glasses.

They left for the academy.

Hikaru went to the vice principal's office to get his schedule.

Yuki went to nurse office

Aki went to the hostel he was assigned to.

Sana to the training ground to get her schedule.

:knock knock:

"come in"

Takenji looks toward door, Hikaru comes in

"oh Hikaru its you, have a seat"

"Thanks"

"You are here for taking me to a treat right"

Hikaru squints at him.

"haha i know i know. Let me take you to your 1st class."

He hands the schedule to Hikaru.Takenji leads him to his class.

while on the way-

"Are you nervous"

"That's obvious"

"Don't worry you will be fine"

" Who knows?"

"My daughter is also in that class, so please take care of her"

'You just poured petrol on fire'

They reached the class. Takenji asks Hikaru to wait until he calls him

Takenji went inside.

He talks to them for sometime, then he calls Hiakru

Hikaru went in.

He introduced himself.

everyone "we will be in your care"

'It's normal'

Takenji left the class.

Hikaru starts by teaching the basics about mana.

class went normally, they asked questions,hikaru answered them.

They don't understand something-Hikaru tells them in different ways.

There were students of different races in the class. Half beast, human like Wolf, cat , dog and elf.

The elf seemed to be making distance with other humans.

class ends just at the time Hikaru finishes.

He leaves class.

'It's not that hard'

The same happened with him in other classes.

Lunch break happens.

Hikaru was in a good mood.

'Thank goodness it went smoothly without any problems.I can manage this way"

Hikaru went to Yuki.

He reaches the room, opens the door

"Yuki lets go for lunch," said Hikaru in high spirits with a smile.

Hikaru opens his half closed eyes and sees two women talking to Yuki.

Hiakru stops.

No movements.

Breathing quietly like if someone hears him he will be killed.

One of the women turns after hearing Hikaru.

Stares at Hikaru.

Stressing her eyes on hikaru's face.

"You are that drunk pervert!!"

Let's go back in time.

When Hikaru's 2nd class just ended.

All the teachers were coming out of class.

Mahiru comes out. She saw Yuki walking in the hallway with some papers.

Mahiru recognized her.She heads toward yuki and calls out her.

"Ano...."

Yuki turns

"Ah! You are the one we helped on ship"

"Yes. Thanks for your help at that time"

"No problem. Do you teach here?"

"Yes. My name is Mahiru"

"Yuki,I am a doctor."

Both sake hands.

"If you have time we can chat during the Lunch break, i have to hand these documents for now"

"Sure, I also want to talk with you"

"Then come to the nurse's room during lunch break"

"Okay"

During lunch break Mahiru took Hana with her to the nurse's room.

There she introduced Hana to Yuki.

They talked for a while.

"By the where is the person who helped us by slaying the Dren"

:crack:

At that moment Hikaru opened the door.

Now back to present-

"Wait lis-"

Mahiru turns and yells at Hikaru

"What are you doing here???"

"I a-"

"Let me handle him" Hana sheath out her sword

"Lis-"

"Shut up"

Hana swings her sword.

The sword didn't cut through Hikaru's head. A defence barrier was cast on Hikaru.

:swisss:

Cold wind blows.

Both Mahiru and Hana's lower half bodies are freezed.

"Do you have any problem with my brother" said Yuki

Both Hana and Mahiru look towards Yuki.

Cold eyes. With death written in them.

Hikaru wanted to enjoy the moment a little longer.

It was the first time Hikaru saw Yuki being angry after a long time and for his sake..

But Hikaru didn't want to see a blood-strained room.

"Yuki!"

Hikaru closed the door and runs towards Yuki

"wait wait calm down yourself for a second"

Yuki didn't do anthing.Hikaru explained everything to Yuki.

She melts the ice of their lower body.

:Crack:

The door opens and Aki and Sana enter the room.

Yuki was still melting the ice. They both asked

"What happened here?"

Sana looks at Mahiru and Hana . She remembers them.

"You are the ones we saved on the boat" said Sana while looking at Hana and Mahiru

'Ah great now more explaining. I am hungry' Hikaru wanted to eat his meal already.

"Can we talk while eating lunch, i am too hungry and don't want to miss lunch" suggested Hikaru

Everyone looked at each other and agreed.

Everyone with their lunch gathers in the nurse office. Door locked.

Hikaru was the first to open his lunch box. He couldn't help himself after all that talking for his classes.

While everyone was waiting for an explanation , Hikaru took one bite after another.

Finally Aki patience breaks and he asked,

"Will you care to explain to us?"

Hikaru looks towards them as he forgot that they were also in the room.

He swallows all the food in his mouth and says

"You both are great cook"

"Thanks?" A sudden compliment still worked on both Sana and Yuki.

"So, Let me explain everything from start"

Hikaru explained everything.

when Hikaru mentioned he was the one who slayed the dren. Mahiru stared at him.

After completely explaining everything Hikaru said

"So that's how it was"

Both Hana and Mahiru felt guilty.

"We are extremely sorry." Both of them apologized.

"It's okay"

"Did you also took the exam held 2 days ago?, you look young so i don't think you are teaching for 5 years or so" asked Sana

"No, I haven't been teaching here for a long time, I took the exam this year." replied Hana

"So do we." said Sana

"I am Mahiru,a magician "

"I am Hana, a swordsman"

"Let me introduce you to us once again properly," said Yuki.

"She is Sana, a swordsman," Sana waved.

"He is Aki, incharge of the dorm" Aki bowed.

"I am Yuki, a doctor"

"And He is my brother Hikaru, a magician" Hikaru bowed.

'A magician also' Mahiru wondered.

"I still don't know how i passed the exam, i thought I was going to fail"

'His voice sounds familiar' thought Mahiru

"You are also a good swordsman," said Mahiru.

"I am no match for my teacher"

"Who teached you?" Asked Hana

Pointed towards Sana.

"That reminds me you held back your strength at the exam." Said Hana

"We don't want to make a big impression, we want to stay low so we don't show off our true skills. Please don't tell anyone else about it."

"Um... Okay, but you have to train the Mahiru and have sword fight with me"

Sana thought for a second and said

"Okay but I don't have much free time so I can't give long lessons "

"That works for me," said Mahiru.

"You are a magician right?" Aki asked.

"Yes"

"What rank?"

"Dragon"

"Same as me"

"You are also a magician?"

"Yes"

Mahiru glanced at Hikaru and asked

"What rank are you, Hikaru?"

"I.... I don't know."

"You didn't take the exam?"

"Nope, neither me nor yuki did."

Hikaru drinks water from a bottle and says

"I was worried that they would not allow us to work here if we did show them our rank, but they said it's not a problem. They accepted persons who had not taken a rank exam"

"Which rank did you get in the exam then?"

"Where was the rank?"

"Ya, they were written on the list"

"My name wasn't on the list "

Mahiru looks shockingly towards Hikaru.

"Then..."

"The vice principal told me that i passed"

'He....he is the one who ranked above me' Mahiru thought.

Hikaru looked towards the clock.

"Oh...break is almost over. I have to go now, bye"

Hikaru left in a hurry.

Mahiru held in the words which almost came out but neither did she know what she wanted to say.

"See you later then" said Hana and Mahiru

Everyone went their way.

The day ends.

At house Hikaru and other in Living room-

"Ahhhhhhhhh I am tired." Hiakru left out a big sigh

"We will get used to it" said aki

"I didn't have many visitors, most of them were from injuries due to sword fighting."

"I just had some simple exercises in my class today," said Sana.

"I was just playing with the kids in dorm" said Aki

"Lucky you. Before lunch classes were easier for me. After that it was hard to interact with students in common classes. I was told to teach them about history, they and I both were half asleep. Well that aside, what do you want for dinner?"

Hikaru went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

They had a chat about their students while eating dinner, and then after a bath all of them went to sleep.
