Chapter 4:
Rise of The King
Irin and Eyle charged at Atreus and Dolion, their anger evident. Reaching into his pouch, Irin pulled out throwing knives and threw them at the both of them. Atreus dodged and deflected a few, meanwhile Dolion sunk into the ground and appeared behind Irin. Before he could strike Eyle blocked his attack. Ignoring the fight behind him, Irin dashed at Atreus and they exchanged blows. The shadow blade was lighter than Atreus's usual blade.
"You're not half bad, but you lack discipline." Atreus spoke as he focus on Irin's movements. Each thrust and slash was sloppy at best. Parrying one of his attacks, Atreus went to strike Irin, before his blade could slash his chest, the earth under his feet shifted and he fell onto his back.
"No need for a blade when I can use magic." Irin spoke as his breathing was labored.
Dolion and Eyle exchanged blows, but Dolion was toying with him.
"Come on beardy, show me a good time!" Dolion laughed mockingly at him. Eyle screamed out in anger as his attacks grew desperate, swinging his blade violently. As he trued to slash, a shadowy hand appeared from the ground and tripped him, falling down on the ground. Putting his sickles on his throat, Dolion chuckled and growled.
"You lose beardy... Best to stay out of this." He taunted as he looked at Atreus and his eyes widened. There stood Atreus, covered on blood and bruises, but still swinging his shadowy blade.
"Just give it up! You're going to bleed to death!" Irin yelled out as he was getting severly tired. Shaking his head, Atreus charged at Irin. Unable to dodge, Irin decided to brace for impact. Delivering a brutal headbutt, cracking Irin's nose and knocking him out cold.
"Ho, ho, look at you. Fighting like a animal." Dolion chuckled as he patted Atreus's shoulder. All that Atreus could do was nod and slowly made his way to the barracks. Crossing his arms above his head, Dolion just whistled as he lifted Eyle's and Irin's body with shadowy hands and put them in their barracks.
(Yo, this story is bad and I'm starting to regret making it. Post writing clarity is hitting hard. I'm stopping this story here as there is no need to continue it. I'm sure the 2 people reading this aren't sad. Feel free to use this story and characters for whatever you want. Sorry for wasting your time.)
