Chapter 1:

Origins of the Bangles

Bangles of power, Warriors of Fate

A wise 59-year-old man named Wahido Kamuto was a meditator, a martial artist, and an ascetic who believed in peace above all else. To protect the world, he created five bangles of power through deep meditation.

The Yellow Bangle has the symbol of the sun, which was the strongest of them all.

The Blue Bangle, with the symbol of waves, gave control over water and wind.

The Green Bangle, marked with leaves, carried the power of nature.

The Purple Bangle, bearing the wings symbol, gave the strength of animals and birds.

The Orange Bangle, symbol of fire, controlled flames.

But Wahido also feared that these powers could be misused. So, he made another bangle—the Red Bangle. This one carried the symbol of the devil and was just as powerful as the Yellow Bangle. It could only be worn by someone completely evil, a person with no kindness in their heart. The Red Bangle’s owner could only be defeated if all the other bangle owners fought together. The final strike had to come from the Yellow Bangle’s wielder, using a sword touched with her blood, piercing the enemy’s heart.

The bangles themselves chose their owners. When someone wore a bangle, it would glow if the person was worthy. The Yellow Bangle would only accept a kind and positive soul. The Red Bangle was the opposite—it chose only those filled with hatred. If the Yellow Bangle’s owner showed even a little negativity, its glow would fade. The same happened with the Red Bangle if its owner showed even the smallest act of kindness.

All the bangles possess different powers and forms. These bangles take moonlight to charge them.

Wahido owned a small house, and in its garden he used to train his 21 disciples. He trained his disciples for the bangles, and finally, 5 of them were chosen by the bangles.

Owner of the Blue BangleSween Hijoto, an 18-year-old boy, has long black hair and shiny eyes. He has a naughty and childish personality, but shows a lot of determination. He has only a sister at home, who is 8 years old, and he has been taking care of her. He works as a cook in a restaurant. He never loses hope and has an optimistic approach toward life, always searching for a perfect soul mate. He has been Wahido’s student for 3 years. He studied until the age of 14, up to class 8, but left school after his parents died in an accident. Now he has to wear blue clothes, as the bangle on his hand glows blue.

Owner of the Orange Bangle Yushura Divaa, a 19-year-old boy, is always angry and ready to fight. He is very aggressive, competitive and has no friends due to his nature. His parents sent him to Wahido to calm him down and teach him control over his anger. He has red hair, sharp eyes, and is a bit short in height. He has a younger brother who is good at almost everything, and his parents always compare him to that brother. He belongs to a well-known and rich family, as both his father and mother are in the weapons business. He has to wear orange clothes, as the bangle glows orange.

Owner of the Purple Bangle Inoshida Divaa, 17 years old, is the younger brother of Yushura Divaa. He is an over-smart and overconfident person, good at studies and co-curricular activities. He has compassion for animals and shares a strong bond with both animals and birds. He always tries to put his elder brother down. He has good height, long brown hair, and blue eyes, and is considered good-looking. He is the favorite child of his parents. He was sent to Wahido to increase his concentration level. Yushura and Inoshida have been training for 1 year. He has to wear purple clothes, as the bangle glows purple.

Owner of the Green BangleSharino Itiwah, a 19-year-old girl, has a kind-hearted and friendly nature. She loves nature. She lived in the mountains during her childhood but moved to the city because of her father’s transfer. Her mother owns a nursery, and her father is in the army. She has long black hair and green eyes. She knows how to make perfumes from flowers. She has been practicing with Wahido for 6 months and still lacks perfection. She has to wear green clothes, as the bangle glows green.

Owner of the Yellow BangleTsangero Minoha, a 22-year-old woman, is disciplined, compassionate, and kind-hearted. She always thinks of others, is ready to help, and even thinks well of her opponents. She has leadership qualities, a glowing and happy face, and always keeps smiling. She has golden hair and brown eyes. She is Wahido’s most powerful disciple, having practiced with him for 5 years. Her parents left her when she was a child, and she was raised in an orphanage. She owns a unique golden sword that she made herself. She also helps Wahido in training his other disciples. Now she has to wear yellow clothes, as the bangle glows yellow on her hand.

The practice to unlock the moves associated with bangle powers had begun. However, news about the evil Red Bangle spread worldwide, and people with malicious intentions began searching for it.

Those who owned bangles came to be known as Watsukais. They unlocked many moves associated with their powers, saved people from wrongdoers, fought against criminals, maintained peace, and also battled those who came to possess the Red Bangle.

But one day, a man named Zevroth came to rob Wahido’s house while Wahido was sick and sleeping. Hijoto and Itiwah were making soup for Wahido in the garden, Tsangero was out collecting wood from the forest, and Inoshida and Yushura were out of town. Zevroth managed to reach the box in the cupboard and tried to steal the bangle, thinking it was jewelry. Fascinated by the carvings on it, he wore it.

And after that…
