3rd Anniversary – Real Realm Main Plaza, 20:00 JST

Most of the players had gathered in front of the main stage, waiting for the appearance of the game’s developer,the mind behind the world they all lived in.

“For the third anniversary celebration, please welcome the man behind the creation of this game,the one and only, the genius himself,KAGAMI REN!”

Cheers erupted from the crowd. Amidst the dazzling stage lights and fireworks, Ren walked slowly toward the center. His expression was calm, though a flicker of hesitation crossed his eyes.

“He’s the one who turned dreams into reality. A genius developer who made this virtual world feel more alive than the real one.”

Ren gave a small, awkward smile. Compliments like that always made him a bit uncomfortable.

“Let’s hear a few words from the developer himself. The stage is yours.”

A transparent mic floated into place. Ren took it, exhaled lightly, and began to speak.

“Ah… It feels a bit embarrassing being called a genius just for making a game,” he said with a shy chuckle.

Laughter rippled through the crowd of players.

“But well, I’m honestly happy. My game is now known around the world and has become the number one VR title,surpassing even the legends before it.”

He paused, looking out at the crowd,avatars of all styles and nationalities standing before him.

“So, how’s your experience playing this game? Enjoyable?”

“Or… have you felt a bit deceived? Like when guys use female avatars?”

The crowd erupted in even louder laughter.

“Judging from your reaction, I guess that’s pretty common, huh?”

“Maybe next time I should implement a gender verification system, so no more guys pretending to be waifus,” 

he teased, earning another wave of laughter.

Ren smiled genuinely.

“I hope you won’t get bored with the updates I’ll be rolling out in the future.”

“If you ever start to feel tired of the game, feel free to send your feedback and suggestions,I want to shape this world to meet your expectations.”

“I always read your comments and feedback... Hmm, maybe that’s also why this game became such a hit because I listened to all of you, step by step.”

“Well then, that’s all I have to say for this third anniversary celebration. Sending warm regards from me and see you all in the next event!”

The players watching responded with a thunderous round of applause. Cheers and laughter echoed through the plaza like a wave of celebration.

Ren smiled and slowly walked offstage, leaving the spotlight behind.
