A developer named Kagami Ren is betrayed by one of his own teammates,someone who helped build the game who intends to sacrifice the players inside it to an entity claiming to be a goddess.

During the third anniversary celebration of Ren’s RPG-themed, hyper-realistic game Real Realm, the event is suddenly interrupted by the appearance of a horde of monsters with an impossibly high threat level.

When Ren attempts to erase the monsters using a special command code reserved for developers. His access is denied,as if someone had removed his command authority from within the game itself.
