Chapter 70:

Epilogue: Where did the Demon King Land?

When I bought That Suspect Baroque Closet and Lamp, I Didn't Expect to Be a Mundane Wizard for the Demon Prince of Another World

Alric tumbled about the turbulent vortex. Eventually, flying out of a sparking baroque-style closet to land on a sleeping man.

"Curse the concubine that birthed you Genie!" He spat out the distaste he felt for his son, who had stripped him of cosmic power via the extractor.

Right now, he was as powerful as a useless porkle.

Due to his honed constitution, Alric swiftly recovered his sense to notice the man dead beneath him. He'd been too fragile to handle the shock of the stranger landing on his face, dying of an instant heart attack.

Alric glanced at the modern style furniture. "Earth's tastes are horrid." He flicked off his foul mood with a wave of a hand, and noticed his fingers tingling with magic.

He pressed a finger to the dead man's forehead, smiling when memories of the man's life were absorbed until the body completely disintegrated.

Action plans formed in his mind. His basics would be more than enough to handle a magicless world. The sheen of a plastic badge, beneath the desk's night light, caught his eye.

"Steven Gates. CEO of Nexus Technologies." He picked up the corporation security badge next to the open laptop.

The man's memories rushed through Alric's mind. He smiled, feeling more at ease. Fate was proving to be in his favor. That cruel alien dared to state he was wrong.

"Foolish boy."

He eased into the computer chair and turned on the laptop. He scrolled through the internet until he found information about Kairo. It was an obituary about his death.

"Huh, interesting." His eyes caught a snippet of an article about climate change, his face eased into a devious grin as he felt his life-mission was still in play.

The battle for Earth was about to begin.
