HOME ALONE

Following breakfast and a conversation, Athena requested Haruki's assistance with magic, as she grasps it more readily and learns at a quicker pace. They dedicated the day to honing and perfecting various spells. Athena possesses a significant amount of mana but finds control challenging, frequently resulting in her using insufficient or excessive energy for a spell, leading to failures or explosions in her grasp. Luckily, Haruki is able to manage it.     

The next day, once again, Haruki makes some breakfast. This time , he made pancakes. Haruki is not the best at cooking, but he has mastered the meals he is good at. Suddenly, after quickly finishing breakfast, Haruki informs Athena that he's going out and leaves shortly.

Alone at home, Athena hones her magic by herself. She experiments with wind-type magic to modify her voice more effectively than merely attempting to make it sound masculine. Her body appears to be executing magic more effortlessly now.

Due to Haruki's imaginative approach to magic, she managed to simplify the process of voice changing. While reflecting on Haruki, she senses a void as she glances around the vacant room with his absence. She's accustomed to solitude, but the moments with him brought greater happiness than studying alone, where she couldn't articulate her feelings. 

Seven hours pass, and she is now pacing in their room, contemplating his whereabouts. At that moment, she notices that Kuro is also missing. For a long time, he’s been away, and now even the cat has left. She thinks, "He didn’t even mention where he was headed, and now his cat is missing too?" she murmurs quietly.

Just then, Haruki comes through the door with Kuro on his shoulder. Walking in as if nothing is wrong, he greets Athena; she replies in a low tone, as if she's frustrated about something. She then asks him why he took so long and why Kuro is with him when he came back. He then takes out a bag and gives it to her.

Fortunate that I returned instead of teleporting directly here; I just teleported halfway. On my return, I came across a clothing shop and purchased a couple of dresses along with some stylish casual outfits for Athena. I took some time selecting what I believe she would look great in. I also purchased some adorable underwear. While I was walking home, I spotted Kuro, and we walked back together.

Athena's eyes brightened as she looked through the gifts she had been given, forgetting her anger at being left alone for so long. Haruki smiled as he knew she would like it, as the only girly thing she had was her underwear .

While gazing, she comes to a realization and exclaims, "Everything is fine, I adore the outfits you've chosen, but what's the point if I can't wear them?"

"I knew you'd say that, so I propose : why not show only me? Dress up for me. You are quite the beauty, so show me the extent of how cute these outfits make you."

While listening to him talk and examining the items he bought, she spots something that irritates her and exclaims, "You— you bought underwear too?!" Why is that? "Are you expecting me to stroll around wearing this?"

"No, no, I just got it because the saleslady recommended it and said you'd like it , so I got it without thinking. I'm sorry if I crossed the line."

        "Fine, as long as you understand your position, it's acceptable." (Athena's cheeks are flushed.)

Haruki watches as Athena shows him all the different clothes she wears . Even though she may not be able to go out wearing clothes like this at present, the future is vast, and depending on her choices, she could live freely.

'Today is the last day, and I never take a break one bit. School is starting tomorrow, and I don't know what to expect. Wait, why am I talking to myself like I'm still back in Japan? Things are different ; I have power ; my physical strength is way better than most. Yeah, now I'm Rukito, not the weak old Haruki who couldn't defend himself ... Oh yeah, I'm using the name Haruki again for school.'

'Maybe I should make a manga and see how much I can make out of it. '

Everyone is not perfect; the past is always there . Even if you're reincarnated, you will still be the same person. But if you stay in the past, you can't walk forward to see what lies ahead. Rukito knows this deep down, which is why he finds new activities to do, looks forward into the future that lies ahead, and learns from past mistakes.

With unimaginable speed, he managed to draw up three volumes of manga. He wrote a story of the demon king and how he ended up in another world and took a part-time job at a fast food restaurant. How will people know what a fast food restaurant is here?

"Hey, Athena. I made some manga. Read it and tell me what you think."

"Is that another word for book?"

"Oh, also you read from left to right and top to bottom . It's a book that tells stories with drawings in it."

She reads the manga, while Haruki falls asleep, having had a long day. The next day, Haruki awakens to see Athena already awake. She explains to him that it requires a lot of time to achieve a boyish appearance, so she rose earlier. Haruki assists her in fastening the wrap around her chest since she was having difficulty with it.

Following breakfast, they both departed for the first day of school. They come soon, as all observe the crown prince, Arthur, strolling beside Haruki. The girls barely glance at him before rushing to welcome Arthur (Athena), as who wouldn’t want to win favor with a prince on the opening day of school?
