     Hugo had been doing his usual routine the day that news of the attack. He had said to the people some bullshit about how we need to stay strong and support each other and if the Empire needed help, they would help people but help themselves. Utter nonsense, it`s just what the people wanted to hear in truth he was upset, his sister died in the attack, she was the only one who still visited and joked with him, she had told her empire that he left to go to the BAC, she had brought her kids to his wedding, had been at hos wife's funeral, and - he thought about this the most - she had given him the ability to keep the embryo his wife was pregnant with when she died in stasis. When he walked to the Advisory chamber James, his advisor, said "Sir you have a hollo message." "James, you know what I say about using 'sir'" Hugo said "yes my apologies." he said "Play the the hollo" the hologram played Infront of him, and he was surprised to see his 17 year old niece Cleora "Hey uncle Hugo. I think that you have heard about the attack on the family ship, well i was too sick to go through the gate, so, I am the new empress. If you could it would make me feel better to have someone I know here, and maybe you could help me decipher this big mystery of the assassins. Please, just for a bit.

     "Are you going to help them?" James said

      "what do you think I am, a monster? of course I'm going get the jump-shuttle prepped." hugo said

     Shit. The people won`t like this. So what, this doesn`t have to be a political meeting, besides if they found who killed them i can make them pay. He thought. 

    Day 305

     The ship - a royal jump shuttle, the class of ship used by the BAC, made for both efficiency and style. with it`s cabin sphere inlaid with the system of the current capitol - landed on the landing pad. it`s cabin shell opening to reveal the door which opened and the boarding ramp slid out. Hugo accompanied by his group of escorts or as he called them intimidators, walked up the ramp and sat down. He put his hands on the controls and just thought of the Atla I system, the ship which communicates with the person who is holding the control started to fly faster and faster until they had initiated the jump. 

    Hugo, knocked out from the shear speed and force of the ship woke with a start "Damn I really hate those things." he said to no one in particular. " Sir, could you please watch your language." James said in his perpetually fancy voice. "Oh fuck off James we just jumped over 700,000 light years." he replied "Oh and stop calling me sir" he added "Yes,.. sir" When he said sir, a small smile formed on his face.
