ISD-Shipbreaker. Year-19,756 ID Day-307

    Garret walked up to the elevator that would take him to the Shipbreaker, the biggest ship in the Empire. he had gotten a message 7 days ago, since Shipbreaker was so big that it took 6 days to prepare it for flight and another 15 hours to get the surrounding area clear, In his opinion the shipbreaker should be kept in orbit, but that would cast a huge shadow and obstruct the sight of the many Orbital Starship Docks - a signature sight of the imperium. As the Elevator got to the top a short man named Vulcanus - a name typical to the outer red, the area from which he hails - greeted him "Hello cap`n, all nav systems are a check, jump systems are a che-" 

"Let me get to the bridge then you can do your little thing you love to do there." 

"Yes sir"

They walked to the bridge, which was a large, room with computers in rows withe crew members in rows and in the center was a map the Milky way. 

In his loudest most commanding voice (aka the voice he used whenever he was talking to more than one of his crew) Garret said: 

"Okay now you can give me the check. First we have air traffic." 
"All clear" someone said 
"Now engines, and jump drive" 
"All clear on both accounts, sir"
"Looks good. Start lift off procedure."

The ship rocked and creaked as they started lift off. through all this all he could think was: Shit, shit this ship hasn`t been to space in what 30 years who`s to say it will survive now? Then he remembered that for the past week the men and women on the ship had been working around the clock to get the ship in the condition to be able to get off the ground. When he looked up he saw that they had gotten up above the. atmosphere into space. 

"Awaiting your orders, sir." Vulcanus said 

"Initiate jump procedure" Hugo said. Since the Shipbreaker was much too big to fit into a jump station, the shipbreaker had been built with a jump drive. It wasn`t the only ship in the galaxy that had a built in jump drive, most of the BAC ships had them, but the Imperial ships that had something similar, but those were just smaller versions, that could just jump foreword a mile or so. 

The ship suddenly started moving faster and faster, until Garret could no longer see outside, because the surrounding stars were moving to fast to see. Then about 10 minutes later the ship came to a sudden stop sending Garret foreword on to the lower deck "OH FUCK!" he cried as he fell foreword. 
" You Okay Captain?" Vul said
"Yes I`ll be fine." Garret said with a wince in his voice
"Welp we`re here, .... But the ship isn`t...." on of the crewmen said, trailing off at the end. 
"What the hell happened to the ship?" 
"Oh I got something!" Heli the crewman manning the scanners said. "But something is off, like the remnants of a jump, which are normally Blue and Purple in a normal jump." 
"It`s like that story we were told as kids, the one of the, Union Galacta." said Vulcan.
Heli replied almost as soon as he finished the sentence, "Oh yeah!" then his eyes grey wide, "About the people who could use jump drives across galaxies"
"Well initiate the jump drives to go back to Atla, I have a call to make." Garret said as he walked off.
