Mizuki woke up in a room of blinding white.

A woman sat on a stool in front of her. She wore a long white robe. Her golden hair flowed, and her face looked flawless.

???: “Mizuki Yamada.”

Mizuki blinked.

???: “I’m the goddess Erica, and unfortunately… You have passed away.”

Mizuki: “Huh? Wait, no. I was playing guitar at a concert!”

Erica chuckles softly.

Erica: “Yes, then you did a backflip and hit your head.”

The goddess's chuckle exploded into hard laughter.

Erica: “I’m sorry. It’s just, pffft, funny.”

I swear I’m gonna kill this goddess!

Erica wiped her eyes.

Erica: “Anyway! You have a second chance at life in a fantasy world…”

Hah… It’s those typical isekai goddesses. Boring.

Mizuki: “I refuse.”

Erica: “Huh?”

Mizuki lay flat on the floor.

Mizuki: “Being in a band is exhausting. I just want to sleep in heaven.”

Erica’s smile twitched.

Erica: “You haven’t even heard my request yet!”

Mizuki: “Unless it’s about napping, I’m not interested.”

Erica clenched her fists.

I swear I’m gonna kill this kid!

Erica: “But… It’s only something you can do. It’s…”

Mizuki looks up in curiosity.

Mizuki: “It’s…?”

Erica: “... Saving the world!”

Mizuki: “Yup, ain’t doing it.”

Erica starts stomping her feet childishly, as if she’s a kid throwing a tantrum.

Erica: “Why?? Many people will be honored…”

Mizuki: “It’s a drag… And also, why am I the only one who can save the world? Just give some nerd an overpowered cheat skill and bam! Done!”

Mizuki sulked at one side, while Erica started losing her temper with every second that passed.

Just then, Erica thought of an idea and smirked.

Erica: “... Who said that you will be going to heaven?”

Mizuki: “Okay, I’m saving the world.”

Erica grinned.

Erica: “Great! Because you’re the only one who can form a band and…”

Mizuki’s jaw dropped.

Mizuki: "...Another band? Why? How does that even save a world?"

Erica sighs and explains.

Erica: “In that world, music rules. The best band gets any wish granted.”

Mizuki: “So… still not saving the world?”

Erica: “Shut up and let me finish you, brat!!”

Then hear comes a long pause, before Erica continues.

Erica: “Demons will take over and make it a dystopia! And I believe that only you… The prodigy… Can save us!”

Mizuki: “Then just delete those demons?? You’re a goddess, right?”

Erica started poking her fingers together and pouted.

Erica: “Well…It will be boring…”

Mizuki facepalmed.

Mizuki: “Then save the world yourself, stupid!!!”

Just then, Erica points at Mizuki, and a huge hole appears below Mizuki, causing her to fall.

Mizuki: “Ahh…I SWEAR I’M GONNA KILL YOU AFTER I’M DONE!!!”

Erica: “Good luck and have fun…”

As Mizuki’s voice fades, Erica glances up at the sky.

Erica: “Show me… Your world, Ms. Prodigy…”

Then she fell off he stool and hit her head on the ground.

Erica: “Owwwwww!!!”
