Welcome to the Elven Forest... Please stop yelling

Mizuki hits her head on the floor again, which leads her to groan in pain.

Mizuki: “Ow… Where am I?”

Mizuki rubs her head as she looks around.

She finds herself in a serene forest, where birds chirp and sunlight streams down. Mizuki decides to check whatever objects that is near her, because in an isekai, usually the main character who just isekai'd will have an equipment that can make them overpowered like a god, right?

However, unfortunately, there is only a rock, no weapons, no equipment, and nothing else. Not even a guitar.

Mizuki: “I swear… I’m gonna kill that goddess.”

Mizuki stood up on her feet.

Mizuki: “A fantasy world with music... And without a guitar? Heh. DON’T SCREW WITH ME!!!”

Mizuki glares at the sky.

Mizuki: “I SWEAR I’M GONNA GET UP THERE SOMEHOW, AND BEAT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU, YOU *******************...”

Mizuki starts yelling and cursing loudly, causing the squirrels to leap behind a tree and scream, "Not again!" as the birds scream as though the end of the world had come.

That's when Mizuki felt a light tap on her shoulder.

???: “Ermm…”

Mizuki: “Hah..!?”

Mizuki turned back and saw a blonde woman.

She looks like she is around the same age as Mizuki, but she has pointy ears, long blonde hair, is in an elegant green and white dress, and she is carrying a guitar bag behind her.

That girl must be an elf, huh? That’s a fantasy world for you…

The elven girl looks at her with huge, round, and innocent eyes.

???: “You are scaring the animals away…”

Mizuki: “Why should I care about that?”

???: “Because you are…”

The elven girl took a deep breath.

???: “********************************************************************************!!!”

This is the very first time Mizuki has heard someone saying multiple profanities in one sentence. And, aren’t elves usually portrayed as elegant and noble characters in a typical fantasy setting??

???: “...You human idiots and, ugh, everything!”

The elf muttered lastly.

Mizuki: “Okay okay… I’m sorry…”

The elven girl sighs.

???: “Anyway, what is a human even doing in the elven forest? I thought you humans were usually uninterested in this place?”

That's when Mizuki starts explaining her situation to the elven girl, about her encounter with the goddess, and getting summoned here.

The elven girl chuckled softly.

???: “Do you think I’m a fool? Don’t lie to me… A goddess? A prodigy? Do you think a human girl like you can save the world with music? Pfft, you don’t even have any instruments with you!”

Mizuki really felt like killing the elven girl she had just encountered. But just then, an idea came to her mind, and she grinned.

Mizuki: “If that’s the case… Wanna have a guitar battle?”

Mizuki points at the guitar bag the elf is carrying. The elven woman looks at her with surprise.

Mizuki: “If I win… You give me that guitar and explain to me the rules about this world regarding music.”

The elf chuckled.

???: “You have guts for a human… But don’t get carried away. We elves have more than 100 times of music knowledge than you have!”

The elf girl took out the guitar from her bag and smirked.

???: “I’ll start then.”

A wave of sound swept over Mizuki as the elven girl strummed her instrument casually. Even though the stream appeared to ripple rhythmically, the leaves wavered, and the birds paused in mid-flight.

Mizuki: “W… Wow. That’s… Surprisingly elegant and cool.”

The elf smiled widely in pride as he handed Mizuki the guitar.

???: “Now… It’s your turn.”

Mizuki felt the guitar's weight as she lifted it.

Mizuki: "All right. Let’s see if I can get these trees to tap their feet.”

She played a chord. It sounded alright. A bit strange. There were no ripples in the forest. An anxious bird twitched.

Mizuki: "Uh... maybe it needs… more feeling?"

Flailing wildly, she struck another chord, this time with a dramatic flourish. A strong wind blew through the woods. Screaming, a squirrel jumped into a bush. Mizuki smiled.

Mizuki: "Hey! It's more like that! Feel my wrath, nature!”

The elf blinked, a little surprised.

She hit the guitar once more, purposefully imitating the elf's rhythm, but with a lot more spins and leaps. Leaves fell to the ground, and birds squawked and circled.

Mizuki: “Take that, fancy elf music nerd!”

There’s a huge difference in power, and the winner of this duel is clear.

The elf fell onto her knees.

???: "No, this can't be…Me, the powerful Eillia… defeated by a mere mortal…”

Mizuki chuckled.

Mizuki: “Not just a mere mortal… I’m Mizuki Yamada, known as the prodigy guitarist and singer. In my world, at least.”

Mizuki offers her hand to the elven girl, Eillia.

Mizuki: “Eillia… Right? It’s a good duel. You are an impressive opponent.”

Eillia laughed and took Mizuki’s hand.

Eillia: “You… are ridiculous. But I like your spirit. You humans… are unpredictable.”

Eillia stood up.

Eillia: “You can keep the guitar; I have extras anyway. And as for this world… Let’s talk somewhere suitable, shall we? Follow me.”

Eillia starts walking away, and Mizuki hesitates a bit before following her.

Mizuki: “Where are we going?”

Eillia: “You will see…”

As both of them passed by the final tree at the end of the corner, a huge castle could be seen.

Mizuki: “Whoa…”

The castle was shining brightly, like a diamond. It had walls around it, and elf guards can be seen patrolling around outside.

Seeing Mizuki’s surprised look, Eillia made a smug smile.

Eillia: “Welcome to the elven city… Astrea.”

Mizuki’s eyes widen in amazement.

Mizuki: “Whoa... That's big, all right. I hope they have Wi-Fi.”

Eillia blinked at Mizuki and tilted her head in confusion.

Eillia: “What’s Wi-Fi?”

Oh, right, this is a fantasy world.
