Chapter 12:
Crazy About You
Amilda's father stared at him for a while then looked at the house.
"Good day, Saab Javidan." Aayan greeted.
"Good day, Aayan." Yash said.
Aayan looked up and smiled as he wasn't expecting to be greeted back.
"Let's go in," Yash said and Aayan nodded.
They both entered the house and Yash walked to call his daughter, Amilda.
"Amilda!, Amilda!!, where are you?" Yash asked.
In the room, Sumitra smiled hearing her husband's voice. She immediately wore her veil and walked out of the room along with Amilda, who shook.
"I am so happy," Sumitra said and Yash hugged her.
"I can't be angry with you forever." He said, then looked at Amilda, who obviously could be seen trembling.
"I have a present for you." He said but Amilda was scared to look at her father.
Sumitra looked at her daughter who was trembling.
"Amilda!" She called and Amilda looked at her mom.
"Yes, mother," Amilda replied.
"Check on the present your father brought for you," Sumitra said and her daughter nodded.
"Where is it?" Amilda asked.
Her father pointed to the living room and she left.
Getting to the living room, a smile crossed her face as she saw Aayan, who was sitting.
"Aayan!" She called and ran over to hug him.
"Amilda!" Aayan called holding her to himself.
"I have missed you," Amilda said and Aayan smiled.
Her parents walked to the living room and she turned to look at her father.
"Thank you, Dad, for accepting him." She said and her father cleared his throat.
"I haven't accepted him but I can't see you sad. He is still a rapist." Her father said.
Aayan looked at his brother in law then at his watch.
"I will be leaving in the next fifteen minutes, but I would like to speak with Amilda." He said and Yash nodded.
"Let's go." He said to Sumitra and they both left.
Aayan held Amilda's hand and whispered into her ear.
"I really miss you." He said and this made her smile.
They spoke about other things then Aayan pecked Amilda on her lip before leaving.
Her parents walked to her and waved him goodbye.
Yash looked at his daughter, who was smiling, and walked immediately into his room.
A few minutes later, he walked out with a load of novels and kept them on the table. He looked at his daughter who was still smiling.
"Amilda!" He called and she looked at him.
"Yes, Dad." She replied.
Her father pointed to the load of novels he had brought out, and Amilda wondered what it was meant for.
"Since you believe in love, I will want you to pick this up to your room and read everything in the space of two months," Yash said.
"Dad!"Amilda called and her Dad smiled.
" If you can't do that, then forget about loving Aayan because I will get you married soon if you can't. "He said and Amilda took a deep breath.
"I surely will finish everything within two months." She said, and her father smiled, nodding his head.
She took the load of novels to her room.
Meanwhile, at Avil's house, Aayan entered the house and was welcomed by his brother, who smiled, telling him that he called for the fixing of the door, and it was already done.
"Alright, that's nice brother. She has ten more minutes to stay asleep, and I will need to get off the soundproof before she awakes." Aayan said.
"Yes, brother," Sahil said.
"I will also need to hide myself so that it will take her by surprise seeing me out of the room," Sahil said.
Aayan nodded and walked to the soundproof while his brother hid himself.
Five minutes later, he was done with removing the soundproof and walked away with it.
Few minutes later, Muni got up from the bed and gave a wicked smile.
"I am not going to let him out till next week when I know he will either be weak or be dead." She said to herself, smiling, and walked to the living room.
Getting to the living room, she met Aayan thinking and smiled.
"Thinking of how to get me to accept your request?" She asked making Aayan look at her.
She smiled, seeing Aayan look at her, and walked over to another couch.
"I have thought it through, and I won't be allowing your brother out of that room till next week, but you will have to succumb to my will. He might be dead by the time I get him out of the room." Muni said and smiled.
Aayan stood up to walk away but was held back by Muni.
"And where do you think you are going after my speech? You will need to succumb to my will." She said and Aayan laughed.
"Really!, I should succumb to your will," Aayan said, laughing, and his brother walked out of his hiding spot.
Sahil cleared his throat, making Muni look at him with surprise as she remembered touching the door, which was still locked, before coming to the living room.
"Ahhh!" She screamed then ran backwards.
"Ghost, Ghost!, Aayan." She said, moving back, and Aayan could not help but laugh.
"Aayan, I am not lying. There is a ghost in front of you." She said and Aayan looked at her and smiled.
"He is my brother and not a ghost," Aayan said.
"What are you insinuating? Your brother is locked in the room. The room is still locked." She said fidgeting as Sahil walked up to her.
Aayan laughed hard as she walked back.
She ran to the door of the room which she had locked Sahil and tried opening it but the key failed to open the door. She brought out a spare key and tried to open it but it failed.
"What is wrong with me and why is this room not opening?" She asked herself as she tried opening it again but it still failed.
With this, she took a deep breath and decided to confront them both, so she walked to the living room.
On getting to the living room, she looked around and couldn't find any of them.
"Where are they?" She asked herself, then walked to Aayan's room, but no one was in there.
"Aayan, Sahil!" She called but none of them answered her call.
She walked around the house in search of the two but didn't find them.
"They have gone out." She said to herself and walked back to the room.
She again tried opening the door and it opened.
"What is wrong with me?" She asked herself and walked into the room.
She laid down on her bed looking around in search of Sahil.
"I guess as much, he escaped." She said and thought for a while. "How could he have escaped?"
With nothing to answer her question, she got up and walked out of the room. She walked to the kitchen and got herself a meal to eat which she ate.
She waited until evening and saw no one.
She retired to the room to sleep as she cared less. She only prayed that Aayan would be fine.
She woke up around noon and could feel a hand wrapped around her while she slept.
"Sahil!" She called and he gave her a peck.
"I miss you, Priya," Sahil said and Mini scoffed.
"Very soon, you will be with Priya." She said and took off his hand from her.
She walked out of the room and Sahil sat up straight.
"What does she mean by that? She wants me to be with Priya." Sahil said. "I still don't believe when people say she is the cause of Priya's death."
Sahil thought for a while and looked on.
"Can it be true?" He asked himself. "No, she can't. She is a woman; she only has money while Priya's late grandfather trained me together with Priya, who was undergoing military training just for our safety when she died."
Sahil walked to the living room as he wondered what Muni was doing.
He heard a push as he got to the living room and wondered what it could be.
"Aayan!, Muni!" He called and picked up his flashlight but what he saw made him shock.
On the couch, Muni was laid with a man who he doesn't know on top of her.
"Muni!" He called. "You have broken our custom, our rules. You are dirty."
Aayan walked to his brother and opened his mouth in shock as he saw what was going on.
Few minutes later, the man got up from Muni who gave him some money then sent him away.
Aayan looked at his brother who was irritated.
" Why did you do this? " He asked looking at Muni.
"Just to let you both know that I can live without you," Muni said laughing.
"Then why do you..." Aayan was saying but Muni caught him short.
"I can live without you both but I love you," Muni said.
