RREFECT

One year later, Haruki and Athena, along with three classmates, are now prefects in the student council. Studying and perusing every book accessible and achieving the highest rank in the class is an impressive accomplishment. However, currently in the limelight, Haruki must confront additional obstacles. On his way home, he has observed several more gazes directed at him. After all, which typical student has gone through every book accessible to the first years? In addition, Kuragari has eavesdropped and told Rukito that there are individuals who find Charls and his adoptive son, Haruki, suspicious. Nevertheless, in the absence of strong proof, their only option is to remain cautious.

Today started off like normal, or so I expected. But what I never expected was that our new homeroom teacher would be the strongest man in the world , or so he says. As usual , we were assigned to the class we are in and interacted with some new faces. Then in comes our new teacher, silencing the entire class as he entered.

 Just by looking, I could tell that this individual was not simple. When a dog sees a wolf for the first time, its natural instinct tells it who's stronger. In the same sense, even the dumbest in the class dared to utter a word in the presence of our teacher.  

He then broke the silence by introducing himself to everyone. His name is Lloyd of the Wind . He is the army commander of the West Front . As for why he is our teacher, it's as clear as day. They have their eye on me. From what I've read , Lloyd has single-handedly fought 12 wars on his own, ending every single one within just 3 days.

He is the main reason this country does what it wants. But the most interesting thing is that, 5 years ago, the name Lloyd was nowhere to be found . As far as I knew, there was no such thing as the strongest. Some way or somehow, I need to gauge his strength to see how strong he is. 

This year diverges from the previous one as Lloyd boldly addresses the students, stating, "Pay attention, class, I’m not concerned about test scores. What matters to me is your combat capability and ability to inflict damage. "I’d like each of you to attempt to reach me if possible." Lloyd then employed wind magic to elevate and launch all the students into the field, ensuring they remained unharmed, demonstrating his mastery of the element.  

One by one, Haruki watches as all the students fail to lay a finger on him. Athena tries but also fails. Then Haruki gets ready to try. He has studied his patterns, so it should be easy-or so he thought. No matter what, he just can't reach him. It's like he's right there but impossible to get to. With all the students exhausted, only Haruki is still at it.

'Think, no matter what, no one can touch him. Even I, with my speed, am very close but barely make it. Wait a minute, I think I got it!'

Haruki rushes at full speed before teleporting behind him and finally grabs his arm before he breaks free. Lloyd is shocked at first before he smiles and says, "Looks like someone here has brains and figured out my trick." The class is shocked as they can't even keep up with Haruki's movement.

                                                              "Out of this class, you, Haruki, are the best, but you're still lacking. Spar with me, and I'll show you."

Within a second, Haruki is on the ground, clueless as to what just happened. Both Lloyd and Haruki were about to fight, and just as the fight started, it ended. Haruki woke up and asked for a rematch, which ended in the same result again and again and again. Unable to understand what's going on, Haruki asks what he did . Why is it that he keeps losing before doing anything ?

What! What is this? How is it possible? How can anyone be this strong? How could I, Rukito , the guy who never lost a fight in years, lose so easily? I need power . If I want to win this war, Lloyd needs to die. I need to kill him at all costs. Find his weakness and take advantage of it. The way things are going now, he needs to be out when I destroy this country. But I need to land an attack once. I can't end it like this. Think, what is your strongest attack that you can use... Yes , it's coming back to me.

Enraged by this loss and filled with bloodlust for such humiliation, Haruki gets up again, this time using an attack unknown to Lloyd and the class. Lloyd dodges instinctively, but his left leg and hand are missing. The move Void Rift has been used on someone from this world for the first time. An attack that hits at light speed, ignoring all defense. It doesn't just ignore defense; it cuts by slicing reality itself. Lloyd is clueless as to what hit him and is impressed by Haruki's display of strength. Before doing anything else, Athena calls out to Haruki before he passes out.     

What just happened? Why am I in the dorm? Wait, this is Athena's lap?! "Hey, weren't we in school?" Strange , all I remember was losing to that Lloyd before waking up. Did I pass out because of that?

                                                         "You don't remember? After losing over and over again, you took out the arm and leg of our teacher, Lloyd, before passing out. But for what you have done, they told me to tell you to go to the office tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll make sure they won't punish you too much for taking things too far."

"Void Rift . Yes, if my memory serves me right, that’s how I called it. Yet for some reason, I'm unsure why I know this. "However, this is the first occasion I've used it on another person."

                     " That's the coolest name ever for an attack. I never knew you were this strong."

Strong, huh ? If I were strong, I never would have lost to him in the first place. But now that I've calmed down, WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST DO! Now they will be more suspicious of me. Not only did I show him how strong I am, but I took an arm and a leg. That too is known as the strongest. Yeah, from now on, all eyes will be on me. Athena has grown very close to me this past year, and she trusts me wholeheartedly . I never wanted to play this card so soon, but with the stakes, it has to be done.
