Chapter 536:
En Passant Grandmaster
As soon as Okisato is released from the confines of school and club activities, his next course of action varies on if he's decided to try hunting down a Desperado. If he's not, he'll just head home, eat dinner, do homework, stay there. If he is though, he'll begin his hunt immediately. The moment he makes his presence known, most Desperados will tend to challenge him, arrogantly thinking they can beat him. Not once has he lost in a DESPER match or even a normal underground match.
In the case of the latter, the infamous Inferno's den of Saitama was his primary hunting grounds, but after becoming to infamous and insurmountable, many began avoiding the place out of fear of him. This led to the manager of Inferno's den banning him for the sake of his business, to which Okisato politely accepted.
Once his hunt is over, Okisato returns home, or even heads straight to school if his hunt lasts until sunrise. One might wonder how Okisato could possibly function on nights he doesn't get any sleep, and the answer is simply that he doesn't sleep at all.
This is all thanks to him making one of his prizes from winning a DESPER match the ability for his body not to require sleep. This doesn't mean he can't get exhausted though. Should he play excessively or play for a win against someone like a maestro, Mimoko, or Peter, he'll likely choose to rest. Just because his body doesn't need sleep, doesn't mean he can't sleep whenever he wants to.
