A beautiful place.

After Vanessa had gone to sleep, Haruto continued training Peter. Haruto spotted a cave. "Ooo.." He was curious, so he went with Peter to the cave. He was shocked and disgusted at the sight: blood everywhere, dismembered bodies all over the floor. He felt a sharp pain in his chest. "Hm?" He looked down, a hole torn through his chest. Haruto fell onto the floor. A woman appeared in front of him. "Let's see your happiest memories, shall we?" She looked into his memories. Zero. Zero happy moments. "But.. how? I even have one..." She was surprised. Haruto's life slowly drained before his eyes. "Haruto? Is everything okay?" He woke up. "Y-Yeah, Everything's fine." "Okay, that's good to know. Anyway, I have to go back to sleep now, it's early in the morning." "Alright, sleep well!" He said happily. He went back to the cave, equipped with Avarice's weapon. "I know you're here. "Oh, so you know.." She charged at him with bloodlust. Haruto had trained this ability for a month and decided to use it. "Void's Gate." Haruto said coldly. She and Haruto were then teleported to the Void, an endless abyss. He stood before her. "Read all my memories, Bad and Good." He said to her. He knew this would scare her off. So, the girl did it. "Huh..? Y-You're lying!" She was shocked and terrified. She was the first person now to know that he was the son of the God Avarice, and possibly the last. "It can't.. IT JUST CAN'T BE!" She tried fighting, but the void had already consumed her soul. She couldn't move. Her heart froze. She was completely stuck in place now. " For me, it's gonna feel like 2 seconds, but for you, it's gonna feel like 10 thousand years." She started shaking." What's your name?" He asked her. "I'm Cilla Birn.." She said, still shaking. "Rest now, Cilla." He walked away, the gate to the real world appearing. He went inside it, Cilla screamed, but Haruto didn't care. "She deserved it." He walked away, hopping onto Peter. After around 3 hours, Everyone woke up. "Good morning, guys!" They all say in unison, smiling. Kaelen decided to go hiking, Aurora decided to go gathering flowers, and Vanessa wanted to stay at camp with Haruto while he was training Peter. "Vanessa, why didn't you go with Aurora?" Haruto asked, and he was confused. "Oh, nothing much, I just wanted to stay here..." "Ah, alright." He said, still suspicious. "Vanessa, wanna go exploring? I have a cool little spot where we could go." Haruto asked her. "Okay!" She said, happily. "Then hop on!" He said happily. Then, Vanessa got on the horse. As they rode to the spot where Haruto told her, they talked for a bit. Then, they reached the spot. "Whoa.. You were right.. It's so.. Beautiful..." She was amazed by the sight. Animals roamed freely, with mountains surrounding the place and a beautiful river. Vanessa runs around, smiling and happy. Haruto smiles. "It's so peaceful here..." He said. "Yes! You're right!" She said. Haruto stands up and runs around with her. "I love this place!" They both said in unison while laughing. The gate of the end opens, revealing the girl from before. She was covered in blood, her left arm completely gone. She had scars all over her body. "Miss me?" She says bloodlusted. "Do you know her, Haruto?" Vanessa asks him. "Uh.. Yeah, I do." He says. She charges at him, Tho he dodges her. "You're really starting to piss me off.." She says, mad."I'm glad I am." He says, with a smirk. "I'LL KILL YOU!" He blocks her strike perfectly. "I thought we went through this already. You're no match for me. Void's gate!" Haruto says, pissing her off even more. Everything goes black, and they both get teleported to the void. Time then stops, and he gets teleported back to Avarice's domain. "I want to use eternal punishment." He asks Avarice, "Are you sure you wanna use it now? After all, you only have one use of this." Avarice says. "Alright then." Haruto tells Avarice. Time unpauses, and he gets returned back to the void. "Eternal punishment." Haruto says coldly. "N-No.. Please don't! Forgive me, please!" "Now sleep, along with the souls you took." Haruto says. "N-No!" She tried fighting, but it did no good. She slowly died, her soul not leaving her body tho. Haruto returned back to the real world. "What did you do to her...?" Vanessa asked. "It's nothing, don't worry about it." He smiled. "We should go back to camp." He told her. "Yeah, you're right." She said. The two then went back to camp with Peter. "Where did you guys go?" Aurora and Kaelen asked. "We were at a beautiful place!" They both said in unison while smiling and laughing. Haruto looks at the cooked rabbits. "Oh, I see Kaelen already got food." Haruto says. "Yeah, and Aurora got those beautiful flowers!" Vanessa says happily. "I know, right? They're so cute! I made you this necklace, Vanessa!" Aurora smiles. "That's so beautiful, thank you!" Vanessa giggles, taking the flower necklace. Vanessa then puts it on. "Whoa, it fits me perfectly!" "Mhm, it sure does." Haruto says tiredly. "We should eat now, it's getting dark." "Yeah, you're right. We're gonna go tomorrow anyway." Kaelen says. "You're right." Aurora says, sadly. "Mhm.. It's so delicious!" The 4 say in unison as they start eating. Kaelen pulls out the beer. "Who wants?" He says. "Me!" Aurora says. She tries to get the beer, but Haruto steals it before she can. "You're too young for alcohol!" "Oh, come on, let her!" Kaelen steals the beer from him and gives it to Aurora. "Thanks, Kaelen!" She says. Haruto face palms. "Come on, lighten up, Haruto!" Vanessa says to him. "You too?!" The four then finish eating and go to their tents. Aurora acts drunk. "Great, she's drunk now." Haruto face palms himself again. "Good night, guys!" Vanessa smiles. "Good night!" The other 3 say in unison.
