KEY

Before anything happens, I need to be prepared. Now that I control the key, the information I need is within reach. All that's left is a plan. Originally, I would do this the day before declaring war, but I have no clue as to what they may tell me when I go back to school tomorrow. As long as I have what I have, my identity is meaningless afterward .

Athena has accepted his love confession. She has fully accepted her feelings for him and is now by his side. After convincing her to help him, they come up with a plan to break into the school. It won't be suspicious for Athena to go back to school, as she only came to leave her roommate back home. Rukito has devised a plan to get both him and her into the school without raising any suspicion .

"Here's the plan : you go back to school like normal. Take Kuro with you, and when they ask, tell them I'm still asleep. I collapsed due to overusing too much mana at once. At the end of the day, go to a place where not many people are secluded. Don 't ask why; just know I ' ll be there."

Athena agrees and sets off after using the restroom. She gets to school and is stopped by a teacher asking her why she brought a cat to school. She makes an excuse saying that her roommate is injured and she doesn't want her cat to bother him. She then tells the teacher to remember her place as the crown prince. She tells her that her father can easily fire her for mistreatment. After dealing with that arrogant teacher, she reports back to class like normal. During lunch break, as she's walking, she sees her homeroom teacher walking just fine with both his hand and leg intact . She's surprised as it's only been a few hours, and healers take way longer to heal severed limbs.

Before she could go to him to ask, he had already gone too far. The day goes by quite fast as school is now over. Thinking of a good place, she waits until everyone leaves the building before going to the top floor's western girls' bathroom. While waiting, she changes out of her Arthur disguise. Just then, she gets a tap on her shoulder. Scared to death, she quickly turns around, only to see Rukito standing there with a smile on his face.

                                                                 "You scared me to death! How dare you, you idiot!"

"Shhh, you're too loud ; we need to keep it down. Sorry for scaring you, but that face you're making is too cute."

                                                                                             "Fine, anyway, how did you get here?"

"I never told you the full plan as you didn't know it at the time. The cat that you took was not Kuro but me. Remember how I can change my ears and aura to act like I'm human? It also allows me to take any form I want. I sent a clone just now as Arthur to walk home. That way , someone saw you walking home. That way, no one will suspect we are still in school. But we have to wait till it's night before going to the Archives."

                                                                              "Huh! You can shapeshift!"

"Yeah, no big deal. I just happened to know someone, and they told me how to do it."

                                                      "The amount of uh!?! " Just then, they heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom. A guard opened the door, saying, "Hmm, it may be my imagination, but I heard someone, so if anyone is here, you better go home because I'm locking this bathroom." He never saw both Rukito and Athena as they were hiding behind the door. 

Oh shit, we are basically stuck together. Her face is beautiful and her lips are cherry pink. This is like an anime or manga. But in an anime, the MC and main girl get close to kissing before the other person leaves, and they both start social distancing for some reason...

Just then, out of nowhere, Athena leaned in and kissed Rukito , her eyes wide open. After some time, the guard left and closed the door, causing Athena to almost fall before Rukito caught her, thankfully also blocking her mouth before she could scream.

" That was close."

Athena's face is red as she realizes that was her first kiss. She then changes and says, "Thanks for saving me before I fell; or else we would have been caught ."

Once night falls, we go find the archives under the school. It is located in the headmaster's office. Luckily, that's the first place we looked, saving us a lot of time. Down here, we were met with a door, but it was fake as it's hollow inside, meant to trap anyone trying to get there. I know this thanks to my clone reading Charls ' memories. The key that sets this apart is that it's biological, meaning the only way to open the door is to get fresh blood from the current king or his offspring. As for how they can tell the difference in blood, I don't know.

Rukito explains to Athena to use a drop of her blood and put it on the door so it can open. She cuts her finger and drops some blood on the door so it can open. Rukito tries to open it, but it's still locked ?

Wait a minute?! How is it still locked? That's impossible; she's the daughter of the king. She has his blood , so why is it not opening ? Unless....
