CHAPTER 3 :- You are MINE! MINE ALONE!!

"How are you, Dale? Did you have your revenge against your father??"

"Luca?!But how??" Dale unknowingly called out the name.

The mysterious person after removing his mask with concern on the face
"Are you hurt, Dale??"

"How?! How are you still alive??" Dale asked with a pale complexion on his face.

"Is this how you meet an old comrade, Dale??
You sure have changed a lot since that day. I still remember walking alongside a skinny Dale I used to know. I miss those days.

Why did you do betray me, Dale??
Did you got sick of me tagging along with you all the time??" 'Luca' asked with a sad expression on their face.

"I... I...I am so...." Dale couldn't finish his words as grief was eating him from inside.

"I now know everything about you, Dale! EVERYTHING!! Even your most embarrassing secrets. You cannot escape from me anymore. Because you are....." as 'Luca' was talking to Dale. Serena began to regain her consciousness.

"Dale...Dale? Are you there, Dale? What happened?" tired Serena tried to call Dale with her exhausted self.

"I'm here, Serena. Don't worry. I will take you to a clinic now" Dale tried to wake up from the ground while shouting to Serena. But his injured body couldn't wake up.

"Oh, So this is Serena. I heard quite a lot about her too and your relationship with her, Dale.

Every time that Monster talked about Serena and your crush on her, it made me mad inside!! IT WAS FUCKING PAINFUL!!! EVEN MORE PAINFUL THAN HAVING THIS STUPID CURSE!!

Do you love her that much, Dale??
Was she that important to you, Dale?? More our than comrades?? More than Katherine?? More than ME?!" raged 'Luca' asks.

"She was just a colleague! She just works with me, that's all! We were nothing more than that." Dale tried to lie to calm down Luca. As he didn't want to drag Serena into his mess.

"Oh?? Okay." 'Luca' turned his back on Dale.

Dale sighed with relief. 'Luca still hasn't changed, Luca is still that timid guy who always believed me' but his relief didn't last long.

"Haha hahaha! Hahahahahahaha!! " 'Luca' who wore the mask began to laugh like a maniac.
He suddenly turned his back towards Dale and pointed his fingers towards Dale.
"Do you believe that I'll fall for such an obvious lie, Dale??"

"?!" Dale was shocked. Somehow something was different from the 'Luca' he used to know. It seems like he wasn't the only one who changed. Luca too changed. Other than the face, everything about 'Luca' has changed, Luca is more muscular now and is wearing a black combat suit covering the entire body which was very different from the usual attire of 'Luca'.

"I'm not lying!" Dale tried to cover his lie with another pathetic lie.

"Is that right? Do you go out on dates with total strangers, Dale??

If yes, take me out on a date with you too!!" Luca requested eagerly.

Dale not knowing how to reply, "No, Luca. You misunderstood....."

"No, right?" Luca looked disappointed.
"I knew that was going to be your answer, This Bitch will probably hog all of you for herself, right???" Luca became mad. 'Luca' suddenly pointed his finger towards Serena.

"Da...Dale? What's happening, Dale?" Weakened Serena tried to face the direction where the noise was coming.

"If that's the case, I'll just end her right here!!"

"Dale? What is happening? Please help me, Dale!" Serena started to tear up looking at Dale.

"Wait, Luca!! What are you trying to do?!" Dale looked at a figure that used to be his comrade once. Now looking like some kind of psychopath thirsting for revenge.

"Rot in hell, Bitch!!" Suddenly Luca's pointed finger transformed into a sharp point and the hands extended instantly impaling Serena's head.

"Da....le?" Serena with a horrified expression dropped dead. We can see the reflection of Dale on her empty blue dead eyes that were once shined like a diamond.

"Serena? Serena??? SERENA!!!!!
NO, NO, NO, NO!!!" Dale began to cry loudly. He began to regret taking her to the date.

'If I hadn't taken her on a date, she would have been alive!! Why? Why? Did she had to die?! Why did all these people have to die?! WHY!!'

"I'm the only one you should've just killed!! Why did all these people have to die?!" Dale started to shout against 'Luca'

"I'm the one who left you to die! I'm the one who killed all of our comrades! I'm the one who betrayed you! Why did all these people have to die?! WHY?! THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF THESE!!" Dale continued.

After hearing the rant of Dale for a while, Luca asked Dale "I could ask the same question for you too, Did all of my friends deserved to die?"

Luca's this single question made Dale shut up. As he knew deep down, he doesn't deserve to talk about justice, when he had done the same thing to them too.

"You always talked about Justice and what not during the training? Tell me, What kind of Justice was that?" 'Luca' asked.

"I'm sorry, Dale." Luca started to walk away from Dale.

"Wait, What are you doing? Where are you going?! Why just not kill me??" Dale yelled at 'Luca'.

"I'm going to give the rest of the world, the taste of their own medicine!
And don't worry, I'll come back to you later because you are MINE! MINE ALONE!!"

Luca faded away from the view. Dale started to cry looking at the dead body of Serena, cursing himself for letting this happen.

A futuristic-looking lab lit with a bunch of LEDs on the ceiling, filled with Scientists and Researchers. They were all in a state of a surprise after watching what unfolded before the screen. Some of them are disappointed and while few others are satisfied with their research data.

"We failed this time but at least the data we received was very useful. With a little bit more, we can succeed!" The few who were satisfied said.

Suddenly from a room filled with clinical pods and hibernation pods opened and but out comes a mysterious person drenched in some kind of bodily fluid.
"Damnit! What the Fuck was that explosion?! That son of a bitch got me this time! I WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AGAIN!"

'Next time, Next time! You are MINE! MINE ALONE!!' that person began to laugh like an animal who was about to dig her fangs into her prey.
