New Beginnings

The bell of the café rung as another customer walked in.

"Welcome, How may I help you" Spoke Kenji in a well-spoken manner, He believed that good manners were important in running a café.

"Oh, I was just wondering if I could use your toilet." Spoke the man that just came in.

"Ah, Of course right this way." Said Kenji as he guided the customer to the toilet.

Great, it's not like I'll actually get customers, Did the boss really have to open this place in such a remote area?  He thought as he showed the customer to the toilet.

Kenji was an aspiring café owner, He had always had a dream of opening one up where people could come in and be free of the worries of the outside world, He wanted it to have a nice view out of the window, A bookshelf with an outstanding collection of books people could read and a music system.

These were however just fantasies as Kenji currently worked in a trashy café on the edge of town. The only reason he did so was because the pay was decent and the master was rather skilled at his craft and was able to teach him a lot that he needed to know.

Kenji finished his shift early that day, and started heading on home when he saw a woman getting her purse stolen, The thief snatched the purse from her and started running and immediately Kenji knew what to do.

Kenji started running after the thief and while he was running, a truck hit him. He hadn't bothered to check the road he was crossing and due to that, he ran right in front of a truck.

The truck itself was rather peculiar as it had shortly disappeared entirely after the accident had occurred. One could only wonder what that was about. 

Nonetheless, Kenji had lost his life immediately upon impact and unbeknownst to him, His new life had just begun.
