Creepy bald woman in the dead of night [Side Story 7 Intro]

In the dead of night at the Kawaguchi chess center, a student panted as he stared at the chess board.

"What's wrong? Are you just now realizing your mistake? I'm afraid it's too late for that. Checkmate," a familiar yet also foreign female voice stated.

Going back in time 5 minutes prior, a 1st year student from Shogikawagukin laughed as he sat by himself at the Kawaguchi chess center in the dead of night. As he took a sip of his juice, he suddenly recoiled in horror as someone appeared right next to him.

The person was a woman completely devoid of hair clad in slit jeans, a yellow bra top, white Mizuse Niimi brand sneakers, and a black leather jacket draped over her shoulders like a mantle. More startling was the woman's face was either painted or tattooed a pale white with black teardrops below her eyes and Venus symbols on her cheeks and forehead as well as one in the center of her chest. The black earrings she sported also bore the shape of Venus symbols, which coupled with her black lipstick and eyeshadow gave her a goth aura.

"Do you care for a game? You're from a chess club, yes?" the woman asked.

"Sure! I can beat a weirdo like you easy thanks to everything Inoue-senpai's taught me!" the student grinned.

The game started out as basic as it could get with a Four Knights Game: Scotch Variation Accepted consisting of e4, e5, knight f3, knight c6, knight c3, knight f6, d4, and e captures d4. The mysterious woman naturally captured the pawn at d4 with her knight, but the foolish student then opted to capture said knight with his knight.

"And you've made your first mistake," the woman sighed as she captured the knight at d4 with her queen.

"Huh? It's an even trade, lady. Inoue-senpai said they're fine," the student snarled as he captured the pawn at e4 with his knight.

"What fool would teach you that? Check," the woman glared as she captured the knight at e4 with her queen.

"Don't look down on our Inoue-senpai! She's the pride of Kawaguchi, no all of Japan!" the student proclaimed as he moved his bishop to e7.

"The "pride". Ah yes, there was such a time... long ago," the woman trailed off as she moved her bishop to d3.

"What are you mumbling about?" the student grumbled as he castled king's side. "AH!"

"What's wrong? Are you just now realizing your mistake? I'm afraid it's too late for that. Checkmate," the woman glared as she captured the pawn at h7 with her queen, winning the game. "Now, I want you to tell me some things. What year is it? 2024?"

"Yes?"

"October 2024?"

"Yeah?"

"October 3rd, 2024?"

"Why didn't you just ask that from the-"

"The loser need not protest. I have gotten what I asked for. So I'm back... Back 25 years when things first went awry."

The student stared in confusion, but before he could bring forth a question, the woman vanished into the night. "Creepy. Who the hell was she? Hmm, her eyes looked familiar, and she sounded similar to Inoue-senpai... Nah, no way."
