CHAPTER-11 The Commission Hall

"It's been about an hour since he went inside Yuzuki. How much longer do we need to wait in front of this cleaning store?" Says Airi-Chan

"Well, it must have been years since he last took a shower. He was stuck in the restricted zone of the forest for 3 years. He had to fight all those rank 3 cosmic beasts to survive till now. He's probably taking his time to clean up properly." Said Ren-Kun

"He must be coming out any moment, so just hold on for a few minutes, Airi-Chan, said Yuzuki

"Hey guys, how do I look? Do these clothes suit me?" asks Adam-Kun

"Huh? Why would we care about a random weirdo we don't even know? Who are you?" Says Airi-Chan

"Huh? What are you talking about, Airi-Chan? It's me, Adam. Have you forgotten my face within such a short time?"

"A-are you Adam-Kun? I couldn't recognise you at all, you look completely different. Before, you looked like a beggar, but now, you look like someone from a prestigious noble family. You have changed your hair colour to white, and are wearing a black Coat and black pants. Those look very well on you, Adam-Kun." Said Ren-Kun

"What do you think, Yuzuki Chan and Airi-Chan?

Yuzuki-Chan and Airi-Chan were caught off guard by how handsome Adam-Kun was after clearing up. They just stood there with their mouth open and stared at him.

"You look good, Adam-Kun. We were just shocked that we couldn't recognise you," says Yuzuki-Chan

"Now that we are done with cleaning, our treat is over with this Adam-Kun. I think this is where we go our separate ways." Says Ren-Kun

"If you guys don't mind, I have another favour to ask you guys."

"Please go ahead and ask Adam-Kun, we will help you if we can", says Yuzuki-Chan

"It's just that I want to try and participate in the Wanderer Draft, and try to join the Wanderers. I want to earn some money before The Wanderer Draft. If you don't mind, may I join your group and do some commissions together?"

"a-ah!, About that, you have to ask Yuzuki; she is our group leader for the commissions." Says Ren-Kun

" If you guys think that I am too weak to join your group, I'll go and find someone else; you don't need to worry too much about this."

"Of course not, Adam-San, you are powerful, way stronger than the three of us combined. We couldn't kill the rank 2 Tharlux by ourselves, but you killed it with a single strike. It would be reassuring for us to have someone as strong as you in our group. You are probably as strong as a Wanderer captain. I was thinking that if we have someone as strong as you on the team, we won't be able to train properly." Yuzuki-Chan

"You don't need to worry about that, Yuzuki-Chan. I will only take action if something you can't handle appears. You should be able to take higher-ranked commissions with me on the team. I will only ask for 30% of the rewards from the Commission. I will even advise you guys on training sometimes, so I think this is a good deal for you."

"He is right, Yuzuki-Chan. Let's take him into the group; it will only benefit us." Says Airi-Chan excitedly

"Alright, Adam-Kun, Welcome to our group. Our group doesn't have a special name, but people call us the Tsukino's Group. We were planning to take another rank 2 beast commission today and head out immediately. Is that all right with you?" Asked Yuzuki-Chan

"Ah! Yes, I don't have a problem with that. Let's head out immediately."

" Ok, guys, let's head to the Commission Hall." Says Yuzuki-Chan

Adam-Kun joins the Tsukino Group and heads to the commission hall with the group.

"This big building is the Commission Hall, Adam-Kun. There are hundreds of commissions posted here every day. You just need to register your name with a group or solo. Just pick a commission, and if you finish it within the given time and show the proof, you will be given the reward. Let's go and get your name registered with our group, Adam-Kun."

As the Tsukino group walks into the Commission hall, Everyone looks at Adam-Kun with a suspicious look and some girls who are head over heels for Adam.

" How have you been, Sayuri-san?" asks Yuzuki-chan"

" Everything is going good here. What about you, Yuzuki-Chan, who is this handsome boy? Is he a new person joining your group?"

"Yes, Sayuri-San, could you please register his name under our group? His name is Adam. He lost his memories due to a cosmic beast attack, so he doesn't remember anything other than his name. So, can you please do something about it and register him?"

"Yes, you can leave that to me. There is a fresh batch of commissions in the commission hall. Go and see if you find anything you would like to take. I'll register him in the meantime."

Yuzuki and the group go to look for a new commission

"Looks like all the rank 2 cosmic beast commissions have been taken, and only rank 3 and above commissions are available. What do we do now, Yuzuki-Chan?" asks Airi-Chan

"Just take the rank 3 commission, says to kill the rank 3 hydraviem. We should be able to handle it with my help," says Adam-Kun

" A rank 3 hydraviem?, I forgot to tell you earlier, Adam-Kun, but if you fail the commission you take, you have to pay double the reward amount back to the commission hall as a Fine, because our incompetence will damage the reputation of the commission hall."

" I can assure you that I haven't used my full power while fighting the rank 2 tharlux. I go all out; I can take out a rank 3 cosmic beast by myself. It should be a good training for you guys, too, and all they want is for us to kill the Hydraviem. We can keep the beast's cosmic core and sell its body parts on the market for a hefty price."

"I guess you are right, Adam-san. We can't keep fighting these rank 2 cosmic beasts forever. If we want to improve faster, we need to fight much stronger opponents. Let's take this commission."

"Sayuri-san, are you done with the registration?, We would like to take the Rank 3 Hydraviem commission."

"Yes, I am done with the registration, and everything is good to go, but are you guys sure about the hydraviem request? I have heard that a few wanderers tried to kill it but failed."

"Yes, we are sure about it. Please confirm this commission. We will leave ASAP."

"Alright, as you wish, it's been confirmed. The time limit for this mission is 1month, be sure to return safely."

As the Adam-Kun and Tsukino group are handed over the commission to kill the rank 3 Hydraviem, they head out of the commission hall with full confidence.
