Chapter 0:
Back and Forth ~ Would THIS be the happy ending I dream of?!
This is the first time for me to write a story!
The first few short chapters mostly give the setting, while longer 'action' chapters start with Chapter Five - Chasing after Footprints. Intensity picks up steadily afterward.
And that is partially because there's so much information to the worldview. Once that is out of the way, the story more or less gets back on track. So far, I had the most fun writing the ninth chapter, "Scheme".
Most of the first chapter is taken straight out of real life. (yes, Rin's first words to me when we went out for the first time got placed into the lake side conversation. Looking back, I really wonder why she thought it was a good conversation starter...)
But anyway, just like a manga, here comes the character profile. I just got some artists to start drawing them out for me, which later on would be posted to the Gallery.
Rin
24 years old, almost 25
180 cm / 5 ft 11in
60 kg / 132 lb
Long straight black pony tail
Greyish blue eyes
slightly narrow eyes as she doesn’t feel the need to fully open them all that often
Oblong face, long and narrow eyebrows
Well developed body
Usually wears black business suite with skirt, or lab coat from university hospital
Often wearing 2 inch heels
Slight, mysterious smile like she's seeing right though someone
Always stands straight and chin slightly up
Hitomi
19 years old, almost 20 (their birthdays are both in October, about a week apart. Hitomi is a libra, while Rin is a scorpio)
174 cm/ 5 ft 9 in
49.5 kg / 109 lb
Short chestnut hair with slight curl at the end, parted on her right side
Brown eyes
Round face, short and thick eyebrows,
Wears 22 inch (56 cm) corset all the time
Terrible with sports, flat body
Usually wears long sleeve dress shirts with long pants, but always puts on Victorian tail coat or lacy skirt when going out with Rin.
Always wearing knee-high boots, even with dress pants (just pull the pant legs over the shaft) toes point slightly inward
Polite, reserved smile
Often stands with head tilted to the left, and hip sticking out to the left
