Inside her bedroom all the machines were working already. Maybe she didn't expected anything from me...
— You, are the 11th one. You've been the first one to be stable and boot. But you failed. I don't need you anymore. You are not like him...
The whole homelab was almost bursting and few cables were popping slightly from the pressure. A monitor connected to and old laptop displayed few commands on the terminal emulator and a CLI with meters and a resource manager; maybe btop. It was a wired chaos which flowed from a bunch of CPUs and extended to multiple devices orquestated around the cramped room.
—Don't you dare speak to me like you are him! He was the only one I would allow to call my name.
— Sorry, I'm
— You are done
Suddenly a notification rang from the old laptop. The lab's speakers, routers and microwaves started whirring. Then she connected a modified pointer to her phone's jack port and attached it to her finger.
— Master, the spell is ready. —Its robotic voice announced my end. I wonder how looks my face right now.
— Thanks, Madev —She said sweetly. Soon the LED tire on the wall glowed and all the sounds unified on a single reverberating frequency. Thanks to the fans her light salmon fluttering hairs allowed me to at least enjoy her fragrance.
— Warning!, overhe— Before Madev could end its announcement, the last thing I saw were red LEDs blinking on the arduino attached to the bookshelf.
