Chapter 2:

Infinite Possibilities

Revenge in another world

The sun began to set, casting a golden and orange glow over the meadow as I walked alongside Aria. Every step I took was filled with caution: my mind couldn't stop thinking about the tragedy I had lived through, but at the same time, a spark of determination shone within me.
"Don't worry, not everyone here is dangerous... but you need to learn quickly if you want to survive," Aria said, pointing to a small village in the distance. "There, you'll find people, food, and... information. And also, if you want, you can train and improve your skills."
I watched her attentively. My survival instinct and desire for revenge were already awakening. Every word Aria spoke was an opportunity to get closer to the strength I would need someday to settle scores.
"Train...?" I asked, my voice firmer than before. "What kind of skills can I learn here?"
Aria smiled, showing a flash of pride. "Magic, hand-to-hand combat, strategies... and how to use your mind to survive. This world doesn't forgive the weak."
I nodded, feeling my heart racing. The contained anger, the pain of the past, was all transforming into pure motivation.
"Well... teach me everything you can," I said, and for the first time since my rebirth, my face showed a glimmer of determination.
We arrived at the village. The streets were filled with merchants, adventurers, and children running around the houses. For me, every detail was new: the sounds, the smells, the latent magic in the air. Everything seemed like it was taken from a fantasy book, but it was so real and deadly serious.
Aria guided me to a large building, decorated with flags and symbols of adventure: it was a local guild, the center of learning and missions for adventurers. There, I saw several people training, practicing magic, and wielding swords.
"First, you need to register. Without registration, no one will take you seriously... and you won't be able to get missions or learn formally," Aria explained.
I nodded and followed her instructions. My strategic mind was already starting to analyze how to take advantage of every opportunity, every contact, and every teaching to strengthen my power.
That night, while the city slept and I reviewed what I had learned, I felt a change within me. Every painful memory, every scream from Kiseki, mixed with the feeling that something in this world could give me a second chance.
"If one day I become strong enough... no one will ever make me feel powerless again," I thought, clenching my fists. "And that man... that dark guy... will pay for everything."
