As the clock struck midnight, the game between the mysterious woman and Femke began. Just as she claimed, Femke lacked a WWCF card, indicating she was a chess rookie. However, the moment she sat down at the board, her eyes bulged as she stared blankly at the board.

"Femke... Femke's thinking... this is all just moving pieces. How is it even a game?" Femke glared as she opened by moving her pawn to d4.

"You claim the pieces speak to you?" the woman smiled as she moved her pawn to c6.

"Huh? Are you a druggie or something? Pieces don't talk," Femke snarled as she moved her pawn to c3.

"Are you aware of metaphors?" the woman asked as she moved her knight to f6.

"Femke has a meta account, yes," Femke stated as she moved her bishop to f4.

"Oh to engage in banter like this again... It really has been too long," the woman trailed off as she moved her pawn to d5.

Iori raised a browless eyebrow as she stared at the woman as best she could, yet the woman seemed to pay her no heed. Femke meanwhile had opted to go for an aggressive pawn push with pawn to b4, to which the woman countered by moving her pawn to a5.

"You're creepy. Creepy, bald, ugly. I'm gonna walk you into a cement pit and cover you up so your nude body can be shit on by pidgins forever," Femke snarled as she moved her pawn to f3.

The woman let out a chuckle. "My, to think you caused so much grief all those years ago, but I guess you're still at your early stages now," she smiled as she captured the pawn at b4 with her a-pawn.

"Femke's been killing since 6," Femke growled as she moved her knight to a3.

"I was talking about your chess. Seems now you're far from the menace you were back- Oh, I'm getting my dates confused," the woman giggled as she captured the knight at a3 with her b-pawn.

"Are you insulting Femke? Femke doesn't need the stupid horse," Femke proclaimed as she moved her bishop to g3.

"So this really is 2024, huh. I remember hearing of how you kidnapped Iori-chan, and how Oki relentlessly tracked you down, beating you with a Bongcloud in just 9 moves. It really invokes a laugh given how powerful and insurmountable you became," the woman smiled as she moved her pawn to g6.

"Bongcloud? You are on drugs!" Femke fumed as she moved her pawn to e4.

"No, I've never done drugs in my life, and never will," the woman declared as she captured the pawn at e4 with her d-pawn.

"Maybe you're just naturally delirious," Trinity smirked as Femke moved her queen to d2.

"Naive would be the word to describe me," the woman somberly smiled as she moved her bishop to f5.

Iori stared oddly at the woman as Femke moved her bishop to h4. "I know she said she was going to be in a play, but this acting... Cringe. Credit for the drippy look, but why're you sounding older and dejectedly happy?" she thought as the woman moved her pawn to e3.

Iori wasn't the only one baffled by the woman's words.

"Hmm, the manner she speaks... it's like she knows us, but to us, she's unfamiliar," Trinity thought as Femke moved her bishop to g3. "She made note of the fact the year is 2024... No. That is doubtful. Even if the fabled DESPERs could make it possible, wouldn't they be destroyed by then? Or is their similar tech... The advancement of science too," she began to ponder aloud as the woman glanced her way and smiled before moving her knight to d5.

"Oi, shut up, Trinity. Femke's trying to think," Femke glared as she moved her bishop to g3.

"And the sign of the times presents itself," the woman smiled as she captured the queen at d1 with her knight.

In that instant, Femke's entire demeaner changed. "FUCK! FEMKE HATES THAT STUPID HORSE!" she tearfully fumed as she captured the bishop at f5 with her g-pawn.

"To think I'd see the day when you blunder into mate and cry. Check," the woman meekly smirked as she moved her queen to a5.

"What's "blunder"!? Femke's never heard the word!" Femke cried as she moved her king to e2.

"It means you made a big mistake. Seems you're 20 years too early to threaten us, and hopefully now, it'll stay that way. Checkmate," the woman proudly grinned as she moved her queen to d2, winning the game.
