The eyes were capturing everything that frightened them and the heart was responding with even louder beats with every sight.

Blood stained walls, dead omers, feathers painted in blood brought to their feet by wind. Noises of crashes in the wall.

The students tremble in fear. Hikaru puts his hands on the ones standing near him and says

'Don't worry , even if it takes my dead body to get you out of here I will make it possible."

Words are simple things that can do the most unbelievable thing. Even if it was to reassure them the students felt a little secure.

They walked a little more as the screams of those monsters played in the background.They reached the last turn from where there was a straight way to the dungeon exit and also the cause of all the havoc grabbed their eyes.

The two creatures who were caused of all their fear and the incident, who worked together to mess up their simple going life were fighting each other now.

The griffin was wrapped around by the vega whose scales should have been pure white was now red with blood flowing out the cut on his body. Even though it looked like the vega had the upper hand when he was wrapping his body around the griffin the injuries on the vega described something else.

The students, Mahiru and Hikaru, sneak towards the big rock and keep an eye on them without attracting them.

Vega, tightening his grip, opens his mouth and shows his dagger-like fangs which he advances toward the Griffin to bite his neck.

Griffin, unable to move any other part of his body, turns his neck sideways and attacks Vega's eyes. Vega screams in pain, his grips loosened.Griffin with the raw strength of his wings escapes out of the vegas grip and flies right above him.

The vega struggles with pain. WIth only one eye to seek for its predator he looks around. The griffin grabs him with his front claws of an eagle and flies while rubbing him in the walls.

They fly past the students. Mahiru grabs one of the students in front and tells others to run ahead with her. The voice gets lower as they go in the distance.

With no other thought in mind, everyone starts running towards the exit. Not feeling the ground, forgetting about all the exhaustion in their legs from all the walking. The legs scream for rest but they don't sense it.

The screams of the monsters start to get louder. The leg starts running even faster.

When the voice sound like its just behind them Mahiru shouts

“Hide behind the rocks and be aware of your surroundings!!!!!!”

All of the students hide behind the rocks nearest to them, dividing them in 4 groups. 1st of Mahiru and some students with her, 2nd Mai and some girls with her, 3rd Enha and some students with her, 4th Hikaru and one elf boy.. The exit is a few metres in front of them. The light calling them out.

The elf boy's eyes fixated on it. The desire to get out of this hell heats him constantly as he keeps looking at it, eventually he gives in to the temptation.

“Hey Stop!” Hikar shouts.

He doesnt listen. The griffin comes back with the vegas tails in his beak and the vega struggles to free itself.The boy hears them and hides behind the rock in front of him.

Panting, trying to catch up to breath, with a slightly guilty relief of being ahead from others and closer to the exit.

He looks back from where he ran her to. Hikaru runs towards him shouting something, his ears only catching the sound of his breath, heart beat, the screams of the monster and the vague voice of Hikaru..

Hikaru jumps and holds him tightly, due to momentum they both fall on the ground.

“Wha-”

His eyes caught the sight of the tail of omer which is just about to hit Hikaru.

:smack:

The tail hits the wound given by the Queen. The pain of the heavy tail strike was unbearable. Hikaru coughed out blood. The Omer bounces back to the side. Before he could do anything else Hikaru faced his hand towards him and blasted off his pace with a fire ball.

“I…..I told you the…..First day we entered the dungeon…... .to be aware of the surroundings.” Said Hikaru as the blood spilled from the corner of his lips.

There were 10 more omers a little far from them on the ceiling running towards them.

Griffin was busy eating Vega alive.

Mahiru and all the students rush towards them. While some girls heal Hikaru, others are dealing with the omer. One of the omers attacks the girls but Enha takes care of him.

Somehow they manage to deal with them. Hikaru was still not fully healed because all the students were exhausted to the core after clearing 3 floors in a day. The omers, who were not too strong to struggle against, were now able to hurt the students.Mahiru had to kill them before they could do any further harm to others.

“Hey you!! Why did you run when both of our teachers clearly shouted to hide behind the rocks.” Mai yelled while turning her face towards the boy.

“ You! You are the one who said that our teachers will run away.”

Mai grabs his collar and lifts him up.

‘Listen i don't care what you say or do until it doesn't harm others bu-”

:Screech:

The griffin screams again after eating the vega. Now his eyes fixated on his next prey.Eyes filling with enjoyment and eagerness, and a desire to be mischievous. He slowly walks while raising his scream from the beak.

"It's not time to fight, fall back!!” Hikaru shouted

WIth each step raising the pressure of presence, using his glares to recall the students about the emotion of death and fear.

"We are doomed. There is no way Mahiru alone can handle that beast.There is no other way. I have to call them’ Hikaru tries to stand up.

Mahiru drives her wand in the ground which raises a wall of thick wall in front of Hikaru and the students with a narrow gap and says

“Look after them” as she walks past Hikaru through the gap.

“Mahiru wai-”

Mahiru was glowing a little like she was wearing a thin layer of light over her body.

The Griffin eyes gleam as he sees the prey walking towards him.He picks up his pace and lifts himself above the ground a little with his wings and with great speed and spin attacks at Mahiru with his beak.

Mahiru puts her hand in front of her like she can block it with hands , which confused every student and Hikaru as they were watching her.

The griffins drill attack stops at a finger gap from Mahiru’s hands. He flaps his wings and flies past Mahiru. Away from the students and Hikaru near the entrance he flaps his wings in mid air. Stretching his neck upwards he prepares for another attack.

Hikaru and others' eyes sweep away from him as they see Mahiru walk past them.With no hesitation in her movements and eyes on the opponents Mahiru walks elegantly towards him.

The Griffin lets out his high pressure sound waves though his beak coming towards Mahiru confidents walk as it destroys every rock and roots in its path.

Mahiru with a faint smile pulls one hand forward and absorbs it. The Griffin in the air looked confusedly at Mahiru.

He aims at Hikaru and students with his dart-like feather. Mahiru points her hand at them, an invisible wall blocks the feathers. The griffin starts staring at Mahiru.

Mahiru pulls out the left hand forward and with her left eye closed she aims at the griffin's head giving him a finger gun. Right eyes following the direction of the index finger and thumb, head tilted and resting on the left shoulder. She pulls her other arms forward and pulls it back from the point of the left thumb while making a hook with her index and middle finger.

A bow of light appears out of air in her left hand and an arrow of light in right hand. Aimed at the Griffin's head.

The griffins dashed a flight towards Mahiru making his full body straight in line leaving behind the shock waves.

Mahiru releases the arrow.

The momentum of the arrow was way higher than the griffin. The arrow pierced the griffin and dragged it out of the dungeon breaking through the ceiling.

The light of the sun greets them as the beautiful figure of Mahiru drops her arms and looks towards them to give a smile.

Most of the students dropped to their knees as the relief caught them. But Hikaru's eyes were fixated on something else that lies behind the hole in the ceiling.

“CAPTURE THEM!!!” The hole made the way for noises to come in.

Hikaru grabs out the Jar or mermaid tears, The Lepli flower. He plucked the petals of the flower, opened the jar and added it. Then vigorously shake the jar and sparkles it on all the students and Mahiru.

The wounds heals.

“Si–” as they were about to question the thing some footsteps caught their attention.

:Thud Thud Thud:

Some elf guards and an elf who was dressed differently from the others entered the dungeon.

He glares at everyone and the dungeon situation.

“Capture them all” he said furiously.
