The Core - 2

'That was how Rin was found here, then she will marry brother Bon?' Kai couldn't bring himself together. But he had the least concerning worry on his head. First he hid the fact he doesn't belong to Earth from Rin. And dumbed her for nearly 13 years, Earthly. Also, with proper knowledge it could mean the world he thrived for years, will turn in marvel's blip in seconds.

"You traveled with me too?" Rin held Kai in her arms, a sweet reunion. With a physical 100 doubtful stares on them. Kai was self-conscious, with his people around. But the mere thought of all the deceiving he did came back haunting to be. His back running with flood of sweat.  The glands of Tso people quite pours in like a waterfall.

"What are saying, ho- *gulp* honey?" Kai timidly asked grabbing Rin away, to a put some distance, in between. "You walked into that slimy thing too, hon!"  Rin chimed. 

"Hon?" "Honey?"

"That means Goddess Aya chose herself for Kai?" Around 35 of working staff and some people who just came to take on glance of the new Goddess, Rinaya was a Goddess now because of the very reason they never tasted the water of the poisonous river.

So what happened in the laps of days on Ditso. The land owner who was on a walk alongside of the river bank, said that the river color changed and after he tasted the water it was safe to drink. And when he walked a little further this woman was lying unconscious at the bottom of the waterfall. They particularly started worshipping her, because the whole continent knew about the fortune readings of each and every prince. Although, this reading was indeed for prince Kai.

Understanding his status, at least by birth that is stuck with him, had him open up about his reality to Rin. Kai kidnapped Rin to Nye's library room. Explained her everything about his birth and that he is star voyager. Leaving some details he came clean about everything about himself. 

Rin had two shocks, currently in her head, that her relationship was already built on lies and that she didn't traveled back in time. She wanted to focus more on the first part way too much. But knowing she was not on the Earth. Also made her a little dizzy. 

Nye was only present in order of having an older person to supervise over these kids. Also, Nye was so happy to meet his sister-in-law for the first time that he had a very kind but interesting smile on his face, which annoyed Kai and Rin. "Brother, why are smiling?" Kai asked. "Also with his mouth open." Rin added. Even though the meaning of knowing everything now, Rin knew that there future won't be as usual as it was. The reason there relation had that peaceful yet unsettling vibe, was all because one person had their secrets, that of course he couldn't reveal. Maybe he could have a lab rat or be tested to every possible vein on him. Anything worst could have happened if Kai revealed his real identity. 

Although, if was trustful enough on a different planet for him, to understand it's living, the way to survival and how it revolves around ready. He shouldn't have made any possible start of a life on a different plant. A life in which he trusted a person to get his heart stolen and give her the pass to manipulate it in any possible beautiful way. He shouldn't had ever met Rin, if it was not is intention to give his all to live on a different planet.

Rin didn't said anything afterwards. What they had, what they will have and whatever possible way there story will be, she believes, if there is any way he could give the best excuse of his doing she might reconsider to slip away this all lies and continue on there journey together. But after that conversation, Rin went back with to people she was with in the courtyard. Her vision was covering the canvas in the front but it was not getting registered in her head. How many other things their must be before it all started while leaning on the feelings of love.

"Brother, it would be better if you take sister-in-law to Elo, she needs to know what were your real reasons. And why you couldn't tell her all this things. Once she knows it all, it will make sense to her. Maybe that spicy glare on you might soften." The ways of talking of brother Nye would always take the essence of what he means. Kai clutched his brows together at his brother, 'why spicy was added?'  and added further but out loud "Brother, I was also thinking the same. Rin has never once looked at me, like that. Does this means our bond is now broken? Even if it costs my life I would never once think of hurting Rin. *Sigh* This is all a mess. I made this mess. I don't know why but I couldn't stop it, I couldn't help but fell harder for her every time. " Kai had his reasons to never let a woman from another planet be target of his own's nonsense. But in the end, she is part of it and he made her himself a part of it. To what he at least believes. 

But the destiny never made it happened. It was all planned.

Next day, they both were asked to be present at the main court to discuss few things, and all of his brothers and sisters were gathered there. Kai thinking that Rin might have to marry his brother Bon. Rin thinking she might get ridicule of being the Goddess again. Although, it doesn't make sense to her. Whenever Rin say her real and full name out loud it would rather come as Rin pause Aya. She is here for more than a week now. She couldn't get the fact noted that just because she drank from a waterfall, made her a Goddess. Even though, the reason she was found unconscious at the riverbed, was because the surplus amount of alkaline property of the water. It was too hard to digest for her. Additionally, she didn't had a drop of water for 4-5 hours. So, empty stomached she brought herself a new stress. Also, she is still not happy with her stomach condition after coming here. It's hard to breath, swallow anything given to her. 

"Today on this auspicious day, we have gathered..."

"Wait? Am I marrying Rin again?" Awkward silence came after Kai enthusiastic revelation of him being already married. According to Ditso he is still underage, but the Goddess herself chose him so. "What?" "But everyone kept saying she will marry brother Bon?" 

"Thank you Thy for informing this to us. But the fortune was read under Kai's name. Plus Goddess Aya herself chose his destiny." Nye had had to say something.

"When did I ever?" Rin being irritated to everything. No, not because anything physical disease she might have because of the water. But because she couldn't say full name. Because she never said she was a Goddess. Because she never once met Goddess Tso, but somehow she is her rival, to enlighten this planet. Because she thought she landed back in time, but it was just a magical transformation of the planet to please her. Because she married a person of different planet, so basically an alien. Because she fell in love but also took away the light out of his life's real light, the real fun he ever wanted. It was a habit to Rin to be angry and then be sad. Then somehow mix every emotion together. Not knowing which one to settle on and which one to trust.

"What? It wasn't the Goddess choice." It was Kai's father this time, wise men only speaks at the last and to that bullshi-

"Will you please stop with all the Goddess stuff? I may have drank the godly river's water but I'm not a Goddess. I am not even from this plant. (Everyone in the court gasped on this one) I was born on Earth and sadly I do have a blessing by my Gods. But I am just a human, who came into this place because she was so stupid to love a man, that she built her relationship on a wrecking ball, which had a flat surface. Not knowing what kind of idiot am I to ever know the reality was just too harsh on me, every time." Rin snapped and spewed it all on Kai, then the tears made the ways out, just like how she tried rushed to go out.

"Please stop, Goddess, I mean Aya." His father plead. "You are our guest, I might confirm you the great comfort as the same as on your planet but I think you should reconsider on going out on your own out of here." Well, what he said actually made sense, but seeing Kai as enthusiastic as ever Rin mind had a depressing feelings attached.   

"Please, I request you to let us serve you with your best services. In case, of Kai I can sense a dispute might had occurred or perhaps the some sort of misunderstanding. Please, I just hope to keep your mind at peace." Really not aware of why Kai's father was being old English accent, but the concern felt and seem genuine. Of course, as for being a woman who saw her loved one's to turn there lives off so they could share her weigh of burden. Of course, Kai deserved a chance to explain himself. 

"If father agrees, I want any of my brother to help Rin to guide our city. And if Rin agrees to come, I would like to visit Elo with her." Kai planned a few things to be a hero in his father's eyes, to at least express himself as a sane person. And be a husband to Rin. Both agreed. But the person who will guide Rin around was also selected as Kai.

"How about this?" Kai made great efforts to speak out loud. For them together they had cross around 11 houses but not a single sound was coming out of their mouth. Kai wanted to show Rin Ditso, but this way was the worst way possible to him. "What about?" Rin said walking further ahead of him. 

" I used to dream if I ever had to show Ditso to you, it would us goofing around, or the way we used to, once. But not this way. You won't be able to have fun or won't be able to understand the vibe here. So, how about this? Just forget me as anything, we are strangers. We met today. I'm guide ma'am please, let me show you the gems of this planet...?" Won't be worst but at least better than what they are having right now, at least for Kai. "I'm not pleased with the idea!" Rin refused. How can she? To be married with her boyfriend and this many years to live the lie. "Rin! Please, I'm sorry. Honey-" she glared him back to hear honey like a usual conversation. "Okay! I'm really sorry once we meet Elo, maybe you can understand my hardship of living on Earth. But it would be hard to go there." Kai rushed towards and stopped her. "Why?" Rin asked. "Because it will take an hour there by foot. We don't have any carriage on planet. We basically use wind magic to travel but you are not from the planet so I cannot use it on you. Also, you are with me for 2 hours all the way around." Kai just wanted to a way to speak with Rin in a more of couple way. " *Sigh* Okay, but if this is the only way. Even if I had a chance I better know you as a stranger now." The words were enough to pierce through any romantic feeling to even stay at 0.002%. With Rin's word Kai knew he had just one chance to get things right.

Let's now focus to the inaudible moments, since they will be speaking but the way it will too much cover anyways. Now, they were heading to Elo's house. So many things were in the way, like a marketplace. A few tourist spots in the way, a little hut from a era of the other 17 gods by the side of Goddess Tso. Only Goddess Tso is left, other 16 has left on journey belong there exiting form. In the marketplace, Kai let Rin taste many different food types. Some were snacks, some were exotic fruits. Some of them were just magical, some were too overwhelming. A little chit-chat over the way to the first few tourist spot, which were stone structures by nature. The form of how nature works as a force on them and the beauty they were. If Rin had seen this in her childhood she was ought to chose archeology as her measure. They were many breath taking structure to see. The formation made my nature and by the people on the planet were enough to be awestruck. Rin had fun exploring these beautiful monuments. But what had her even more shocked was the smile on Kai's face. The shine was brighter the times he was with her in their teenage. She had never once seen a person so beautiful as well as when sharing the importance of his own birthplace. Then what happened in this world, that Kai had to start voyaging. With many more questions to accompany there journey to Elo. Rin wasn't close enough upset with Kai. Of course, he lied. But the love she had received and being on the receiving end was a boon as well. There is no way she is going to be mad at him. Not even a slightest.

"We reached Elo's mansion!" Kai said with the same enthusiasm as he knew he would marry Rin here on this planet too. 

"Mansion? That's a mere house Kai." Rin was happy too. Just to be with him.

"Well, taking-"

"Oh, so you finally brought the bride of your, young prince. Now the circle will be complete. I know how hard it must have been. But to know that she will only have few days left, it be a pleasure to serve you Goddess." Again with this Goddess stuff, but why only few days left? This one was Elo, he is a fortune reader, that doesn't mean he made those fortune himself. It was a special gift he had to be connected with one of 16 gods that has left the planet. In that connection, the one who writes the journey of every disciple, living and breathing on this planet. Even with a number of leaders present in this world. Gods chose Elo, a mere person, a creature to get the connect with them.

"Did you not hear it, Goddess? There will be a scarification ceremony, in few days. And you will be the sacrifice."
