The Core - 1

When Rin jumped into the slimy floor she thought it would be a whole disgustingly satisfying experience of being in a slim pool. But it was a different experience there. The surrounding in it was; wait, I cannot explain this, because Rin has kept her eyes closed, the only thing that can be experience here was that Rin's body was enveloped inside an air cushion and instead of making ends she kept falling, like the end won't reach any time sooner. The view inside was hard to look at, the fear of trying something new and thrill to get to see what will happen didn't literally made Rinaya to keep her eye closed, but the feeling of someone putting a flashlight in front the closed eyes was constant. In that period of time, Rin called out every decision she took in her life, like they were all wrong and the life which wasn't ending here, has also flashed in clips in her mind.  

Suddenly the airy cushion, turned Rin's falling position into the one that can help her easy to walk. And landed her behind a vile like doorway to a place, not the type to be on our Earth. Oh, I didn't added the screaming above, so after screaming for 5 mins continuously, Rin's throat was dried. She couldn't otter a single word, or could make a sound. The scenery passing through the vile was so beautiful. It had a hill full of forest, trees with enlarged property on it and there leaves as well, enlarged. But the shape was quite familiar. By the foot of the hill, it looks a city but with vibes of old Chinese era. Sort of every possible house was colored in hues of wood with red as a jewel.

Continuing to Rin movements, she grabbed the vile and set it aside, and walked out of the doorway, she was standing in. With the vile and the uncertain footstep that belonged to a person who is awestruck by the vision in front, didn't noticed the doorway, abracadabra behind her. "Wait, so it was a time machine all this time?" She shouted out loud, and then heard her voice echoing back to her and scratching the back of her throat. The theme at the foot of the hill had 17th century era's vibe. After releasing what she said, Rin was excited to know that she was brought into a era of development of a country. But why Chinese? Rinaya's dream from her birth was to learn from the past of every possible culture. The one that was of her most interest was Asian history. The fact the every country had such an orchestered organized mess in there past, there was so much to learn, being travelled back in time that to one Asian country. Voila! 

However, before that she needed water to drink. She was inside an open cave like structure, like a sink hole from inside. The rawness of natural stone, and giving the guarantee that a water body is here. To the addition, a faint sound of water fall was also accompanied. So, it was time for Rin to go fetch some water.  

7 days later...

"It's being a while prince. Thought that you won't be back after your wedding to that planet... wait was it called in Milky way? Art?" A vague sound, yet teasing like a elder sibling was poking into the eyes of the younger prince.

"Earth! Brother, don't you have the classes to attend? You'll be next King?" A voice you don't know how it sounds, but is familiar in this context.

"Kai, my brother! If it was that easy, take classes and ace it, you'll be the King! I would have been King from last 20 years. It's just father rather want to complete the circle of ritual. He thinks that his youngest had lost his mind and left because of bad omen. He thinks once the ritual is performed correctly, you'll be back home!" Kai's eldest brother a little much like a tofu, he got neither difficult sides nor any shady sides. The kind who the whole continent follows, as in youth. Almost 40 as per Earth's age, some believes he can bring much good changes to his kingdom. But his father haven't given up on this thing that's called the position of King, with no crown or throne. There kingdom had a King as a leader than ruler.

" Brother Nye! *Sighs* First, stop leaning on my shoulder. You gained weighted from last time. And secondly, until the day I'm alive that circle will never be complete. It's only few things I need to confirm that's why I came here. Otherwise, I was here 3 weeks ago. You were all wasted, you don't even remember. Hah... I'm disappointed." A friendly exchange of daily worries was shared between the brothers. Accurately they both have 22 years of different between each other's birth, but Kai loved Nye's company every time. Knowing Nye, Kai always opens his portal into Nye's study cabin in the library. Now to rest few doubts here, Kai was born on this plant called Ditso, Kai is a star voyager. He landed on earth in his teenage, like a runaway kid. To oppose on some stupid ritual which was stuck in his hair like a chewing gum.

Kai got life on earth, which is basically fake. It will be more of 10 years of his life on his planet. He is basically faking all the growth process a human goes through. Right now, he is 17 year old on Ditso. He is 8th prince, of continent BB, and the youngest. Being the youngest here means you are suppose to do nothing, live a life, support people as much as possible; financially. Get married, read fortunes together and Die. But one day you get a fortune saying, 'A long lost ritual had been stopped, only the youngest of the pure blood can solve it. He needs to sacrifice his wife to the flames of Goddess Tso.'

Like it was easy for Kai to marry after. Wife? Kai was born as an explorer and a little too explorer, although on Ditso they are not allowed to use their hormonal energy on the outside. Basically, no sex till the age they are suitable to be married, and marry the one you did it with. However, Kai gave up the rules of Ditso even before his teenage. But he did fall in love. It was Goddess he did, more like on spiritual connected than hormonal. What Goddess said was also perhaps the reason he did what he wanted not the others? (Not a question but more like an uncertain feeling with it.) "Somebodies waiting for you child. All you need to do is keep the fire of a wanderer to be bold. " The Goddess Tso, is a living goddess, who has been protecting Ditso, from birth of it. She the purest living creature. The reason of the planet as well, she is present with her people, so that she could guide the lost ones and encourage the right ones.

Here ends the minimal explain of the planet. As it a far, far away planet, out of reach of Earth, yet ultra advanced. Also, we were focusing on Kai. So, " But why are we going around in the Earth people theme? This one is Chinese? Japanese? Brother Nye?" Kai asked.

"I don't know! Some princess has arrived, I heard. And with that Ditso transformed into something she loves. You know like 13 laps ago." Nye answered. 

"A princess? Hmm... Did she went of Earth too? The sleeves are too long for the weather, brother. Is she someone father or mother brought in?" Again Kai asked. Thinking his parents are looking for new bride for either him or one out of three bachelor's that are left in the house. 

"No! No one brought her. I believe from what I heard she really did appeared like the words that came of scroll by Moh. You know Moh, that wise old man. Older than Goddess."
"Yeah, I know. So how did appeared. There were 4 possibilities I remember. The ways the princes of this kingdom will meet there bride was like magical one, she would *poff* right into the court. Next on was she will have her first night with the prince and get caught. And one who will drink away the poison from the Eci river. What was the last one? Hah?" In there planet every thing is spelled in three letters, or something that makes a singular sound. Not because it is auspicious number but because Goddess Tso was lazy to name the planet anything else.

"It was the princess would be found on the throne, with a King in between of both surfaces."  Nye shared a look with Kai, it was more like you-know-how-embarrassing-it-is, kind of.

Nye continued, "Yeah, you already have your sister-in-law in that one condition. Lei chose me to be future King because of that." 

"So, did brother Dhy was caught with his girlfriend?" Kai asked nonchalantly.  Just to make sure the whole conversation was nonchalant.

"The last one."

"Eh! Princess Lei already took that category."

"No. The one you mentioned last. The princess will drink the poison out of the River Eci."

"...…"

"They found her lying at the bottom of the waterfall on the River. You know, the land of fruit garden there. The owner found her and somehow she was worshipped there." Nye started explaining because of the expressions on Kai's face were not moving a muscle. He was glaring too hard.  Nye continued, "You have no idea. That kid, she must have just fell asleep there or whatever the possibility might be she is a Goddess now. I have a feeling she might be HO island. Her feature quite match them. But she got that planet Art's style too." Trailing off his murmuring. 

Just to underline, Kai came to Ditso to collect on instrument you can use to find your partner after they disappear on you. So, even after 13 hours on planet Earth and 7 laps on Ditso. Kai came to a little realization that Rinaya was out of reach. 

"Bro, you know yourself, River Eci is not poisonous. We drank the water so many times you know that. How can there be any poison out if there is none in it." As there conversation was preceding, with views and counter views. Both Nye and Kai walked towards the main courtyard.

"I don't quite remember but the reading was so brother Bon, right brother?" Kai asked to confirm because he wanted to find better reason to escape faster. After their wedding Kai doesn't have to present for a month or two. There is this thing called, you need to keep breathing the same chemical air of Ditso, otherwise you die. Just kidding, Kai is already accustomed to changes with the shapeshifting form, or by making an envelope of invisible power around him. And survive that planet's conditions.

Meanwhile, the moments they both are completely are present in the courtyard. Kai saw a figure, a silhouette he is way to familiar. How can he not, 12 years of relationship, at least on Earth, he has held that figure s many times that he can draw a duplicate with precision.     

"Kai?"

"Rin!"
