The middle of the End

Right after that, I heard an actual gun shot this time, so I can be confident that this was a real hit this time. I immediately deflect the shot with the shadow and used the other 3 to hit in the direction of where the bullet came from. I didn’t get hit, nor did the enemy. I was listening closely this time, then once again like before, I felt like an attack was incoming, I tried to look around this time. I didn’t see anything, so I wondered why is my body playing tricks on me during this time.

I heard another gun shot right behind me at point blank range. I didn’t have the time to check, so I immediately leap towards the right. Like before, once I leaped and reached a place where I didn’t think I would get hit, I still got hit. This time it was my right leg, and now I only have 3 shadow manifestation left. I was already thinking, this could be a terrible place for me. I am not going to stop time yet, I don’t know where the enemy is, and I don’t need to waste my energy.

I had to think of all the possibility of what his ability can be, but judging from this fight so far, his magic can be either Level 2 or Level 4. He could have the ability to be incredibly fast, but I didn’t see him having it since he could have already took out all 5 arms in the start. He could maybe fake gun shots but that doesn’t explain why I get hit after I move.

Wait....”after I move”. Can it maybe be that his ability is to hit a moving person? Because of that I could think of more abilities that are possible. First he can only hit a moving target, second, he can predict someones movement and attack them once they move. I had to see which one it is, I tried moving randomly and he didn’t attack me. This time, it can either be, he knows what I am trying to do, or he doesn’t attack someone whislt they are moving.

I had to try to find a way to know what his ability is. I heard another gun shot, it had to a another fake one, but when I turned around, it was an actual gun shot. I barely blocked it with the shadow manifestation, if I responded a fraction of a second later, I might have missed it and it would have hit me. Even though I am dead, my eyes are actually something that can that damage. This is also another reason why I am wearing a mask.

What I then tried was to use my shadow manifestation to see in the dark, I never thought it would have work. I could see in the dark, I then saw him. I had to hit him as soon as possible without moving.

It seemed his magic didn’t have a strong manifestation, not one with arms at least. So I was able to beat him with rapid punches. After that I checked for the pulse of that herb specialist and good thing is that he still had a pulse but it was very faint. I took at one of the healing salve that I made a long time ago. It seemed to have a huge impact and he healed. But I had to leave as soon as possible to recover. I went to the in and took a rest.
