Chapter 6:

(UNFINISHED) The Girl and the Sculpture (Part 2)

(UNFINISHED) My Thinking Story

I wake up from my daily nap. It's four in the afternoon. Today is Sunday, so I don't have anything to do. It's just a normal Sunday afternoon in summer: the sun light illuminate my room and my soul. I might grab a snack, turn on my computer and start writing. Today's poem is about pirates and death. How would pirates like to die? How can be burry them? I grab a pen and paper and start writing some ideas down. So, if I were a pirate, I might-

   Heeeey, Rian-kun!

I hear a voice coming from downstairs. I notice the footsteps of a person coming upstairs. The sound of the old wooden rungs adverts me of how near is a person from my room's door. I hear a knock on the door and a loud voice telling me...

   Heeeey, Rian-kun!

I open the door before she makes a whole into the door.

Hey, Cho-chan. —I say while opening the door.— What's the reason of your visit today?

Do I need a reason to visit you? —She asks back.

I don't think so. But there must be a reason behind every action, right?

Uhm... I think that may apply in the city. But here in the countryside there is no reason needed.

You're right. Anyway, why you're here? —I ask with a forced smile.

I was bored, and I'm just passing by. Can't I?

   I mean, you can.

Nice, then. —She says while entering into my room.

She starts to roam, maybe looking for some inappropriate books or an old album book. In my room there are some shelves in the walls where I have some books. There's a variety of them: from Latin American literature to Japanese politics, in four different languages. There are around 60 books of them. 15 of them I got them in my luggage when I came here, and the rest I ordered them through Llamazon or bought them in local stores. I also have some anime figures in a tall shelf. Until now, I have six figures, from which four are from Kokoromonogatari, my favourite anime adaptation. I'm planning to fill the shelf, but figures are too expensive. And writing covers just to live a couple of months. Well, at least at my writing level. I have a large desk in which I usually work on the writing of the novel. It's long enough to fit all my reference files and old novels I wrote before. However, most of the time I use the small table in the centre of the room. There, all the creative process and final revisions and corrections take place. Right there is where I create the ideas for my novels.

Your rug is very comfortable. —Cho says while sitting there.

I know! I invested on a good quality rug. Right there is where all my creativity starts to shine.

I see. What are you working on right now?

I was doing today's poem. You know, for my poem book.

   Uhm... what's this poem about?

   Pirates.

Pirates? —She says with confusion.— What do you mean by that?

I wanted to represent how pirates would like to feel when they are about to die.

Like how would they like to die? Or how would they like to be buried?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, actually. You robbed my ideas from my head. —I said with a soft laughter.

I already know you enough to assume what you're trying to say.

So, do you have any idea?

I was about to start a brainstorming, actually.

Uhm... Well, don't mind me. I'll be just here. Sitting here. —She says while looking at the window.
