The First Encounter

So bright, it’s piercing my eyes. Where am I????

Everything is covered in silvery white and giving off a glow of its own, what kind of unknown material is this? More importantly, how did I reach here?

But first, I should explore my surroundings so that I can find any clue regarding my current situation.

Before beginning my adventure, luckily I found my backpack lying next to me, because the sunglasses in my backpack, can help me bear this piercing light, oh and I also a have packet of peanut and cashews, notebook, pen and my smartphone, charger in it but as expected, there is no network connection. Looks like I am kidnapped to another world or rather since, there is no handcuffs and my movement is also not restricted, then maybe I am transported to another world, even though it is also a kind of abduction. Whatever, it’s time to collect more information.

As I glanced over my surroundings, I found that the hall had a huge chandelier in the midpoint between the centre and the end, a large chair, most probably as that of ruler or the master of this place, at the end of the hall and then, there was a fountain with no water at its centre. Everything was decorated with embellishments, intricate designs, made from that same shiny unknown material. Other than these, there was no other furniture present in the hall. But, most importantly, there was nobody present, not even a single living being.

The same situation continued outside the hall, no matter how much I searched, there was no one present in this whole mansion. Each and everything was made of this blindingly bright unknown material,. Thankfully, the glasses were helpful in blocking out the excessive light. It was strange because there was not even a single speck of dust, everything was kept in order, there was no sign of deterioration, even the age of the mansion could not be predicted, it seemed occupied and deserted at the same time. It gave a eerie feeling.

After exploring the mansion, I searched outside the mansion. Everything was covered in a layer of white silvery layer with a slight blue tinge in it, be it the trees, plants, fruits or the ground. When I reached the end of the boundary of this place, below, I found to my shock that there was purplish lavender liquid flowing which seemed to flow until the end of the horizon. At this sight, I had a doubt, so I began to test it.

After walking along the side of the boundary for a long time, when I reached the front of the mansion again, my doubt became reality. There is no escape from this place, the whole mansion is on the top of a hill which is surrounded by water on all sides and this water is most probably poisonous in nature.

Grrr…. , I am hungry after such a long walk. My packet of peanuts and cashews is almost empty. Thankfully, on my way, I found many fruits which seemed edible. I should taste them bit by bit, to check for any unknown effect.

Hmm….. even though they look strange, their taste is edible. I will have these large pear shaped fruit.  Five minutes later after eating, I have become sleepy.

Since, it was already beginning to get dark, I collected some more fruits for my dinner from the garden outside the mansion. Hesitatingly, I went inside the mansion to sleep in a nearby room.

When I entered the mansion, the strong light seemed to have dimmed, so I slept soundly. But during midnight, there was a certain strange sound, which woke me up. As I looked around, I began glowing and suddenly I found myself in that strange hall where I first arrived. But now there was a difference in the whole hall. The extreme light of the hall had dimmed, the whole hall can be viewed without squinting the eyes. And the hall was covered by rows of floating light balls in a straight line with its focus at the end of the hall, there was a large ball of light above the chair which seemed to be their leader of these light balls or rather will-o-wisps.

Suddenly, a voice began coming out of the light ball right next to the leader of the will-o-wisps.
