Chapter 54:

Sky Chaos Part 2

The Devourer of Destiny

Moments before the legends gathered in the same place.

A spatial portal to the Upper Realm opened right next to the Wandering King. It was oval-shaped and dark blue, with nothing visible from inside.

At that moment, the four of them were gathered in a simple food stall located in the Eastern Region. Instantly, all eyes turned to them as the portal appeared.

The Immortal Warrior, Nephilim, and Azazel, who were in the middle of enjoying their meals, immediately stopped eating and stared at the portal with a wary attitude. Meanwhile, the Wandering King never stopped chugging from a green glass bottle and laughing boisterously.

"Doesn't he realize there's something next to him?" Nephilim asked with a worried tone, concerned that the blind man in front of him wasn't doing well.

"He's been drinking too much of that green stuff. Quickly, grab his drink!" Azazel commanded.

"On what grounds are you ordering me?! Grab it yourself!" Nephilim retorted, shouting quite loudly.

"Stop it. You're not children anymore. Why do you have to fight? And that portal..." The Immortal Warrior stared for a moment at the center of the spinning portal.

He then added, "...it might be that kid's portal." The Immortal Warrior then carefully slurped his ramen.

"Useless," Nephilim muttered, feeling annoyed.

"You're the useless one!" Azazel shot back, feeling offended.

The appearance of the four legends in a food stall was the most unexpected thing.

They were currently hiding their power and slightly disguising their appearances to not be so conspicuous. Except for the Wandering King, whose true identity not many people knew.

The food stall became chaotic because of the four of them. Knowing this, the food stall owner intended to kick them out.

However, before that could happen, the Immortal Warrior quickly dragged the three of them into the portal.

"I'm forced to leave my delicious noodles," the Immortal Warrior grumbled, genuinely reluctant to abandon his leftover food.

As soon as they all entered the portal, the legends immediately focused on what was in front of them.

The clusters of white clouds beneath their feet were soft, almost imperceptible, as if they were floating in the air. The night sky stretched out to their right and left, with no end in sight. Nephilim stepped forward, looking at a building not far from where he stood.

"That building... I think I've seen it?" Nephilim thought, trying to remember.

"Oh, that's the main hall, where the supreme gods discuss things," the Wandering King replied, still clutching his green bottle.

The main hall building began to shake violently the longer they looked at it, and a small part of it slowly collapsed.

"This is the entrance to Upper Realm, isn't it? Wow, I feel nostalgic. I used to live here before I was thrown out," Azazel said.

"A demon like you used to live here?" the Immortal Warrior asked in disbelief.

Azazel crossed his arms, his brow furrowed, and he retorted, "What does a half-human like you know about me, huh?"

The main hall in front of them wasn't as close as they thought. Moreover, Mahendra's chaos in the Upper Realm had made the lesser gods and guardians strictly guard every corner of the Upper Realm, from the final layer to the second layer.

The Wandering King, Azazel, Nephilim, and the Immortal Warrior, who were on the final layer, decided to split up in different directions. This was to save time and speed up their progress toward the main hall.

Wielding his proud chain sword, the Immortal Warrior quickly cleared the southern area. His large body didn't hinder him; in fact, he felt even lighter as the guardians were overwhelmed by the clear difference in height.

Meanwhile, in the west, Azazel only used fire magic from a distance. As he walked casually, all forms of fire magic scorched the area, including the clouds he was stepping on.

And in the east, there was Nephilim, who, as usual, attacked from a flying position with his pair of wings. From above, he shot thousands of crystals, and in an instant, those who were nothing more than fodder fell without resistance.

"Where is that kid, anyway?" Nephilim tried to look around the Upper Realm from up there but found nothing but guardians who kept appearing.

Then there was the Wandering King, who broke directly through to the front. He was no less strong than the others, just by taking a single step, he made enemies shudder in fear from his aura.

For about two hours, the Upper Realm had been in chaos because of those legends. Suddenly, a spatial portal appeared again in front of the Immortal Warrior and Azazel. The two of them immediately entered it and arrived at the main hall earlier than the others.

"Oops, I stepped on something," Azazel said with a mocking smile.

As he arrived, his foot landed on the back of a dignified goddess. The goddess, who didn't know what was happening and whose body was no stronger than others', lay there resignedly.

"You insolent demon!" the God of Morpheus shouted, adding to his silver threads.

"Completely unforgivable! Despicable human!" the God of Lightning shouted, striking Mahendra again. But the fist stopped—caught and held easily by the Immortal Warrior.

"Who dares to attack my descendant?"

"You finally acknowledge him," the Wandering King said, who had just arrived.

Nephilim, who also just arrived, quickly descended. Along with the Wandering King, both fell silent, watching Azazel and the Immortal Warrior fight over the enemy.

"This... I'm confused about why we're all here?" Nephilim asked.

"Isn't it obvious? To help? Besides, the two of them look like they're having a lot of fun." The Wandering King replied with a bit of hesitation.

"Yeah, I know that, but before we arrived, two gods and one goddess had already been beaten to a pulp, right?"

The Wandering King was silent for a moment with a forced, awkward smile. He didn't know what to say because what Nephilim said was not wrong.

"I feel like we're useless here," Nephilim thought.

The God Morpheus, the Goddess Panacea, and the God of Lightning were in the main hall, which was now destroyed without a single foundation left, busy dealing with two legends and one main troublemaker. They didn't even notice the two other legends who were watching.

"The Upper Realm is quite fun, isn't it? Even though the floor of the building is destroyed, we're not falling, thanks to these clouds," Nephilim said, seemingly intrigued by the Upper Realm.

As the Upper Realm was in such chaos, several other supreme gods who became aware of it immediately went to the source of this chaos. One of them went to the Purgatory Cage, while the rest headed toward the main hall.

Meanwhile, in another place, a special room for the Holy Seer. This was the residence of Sylvia—the Holy Seer. She was feeling uneasy but knew that her abilities would not be enough to fight the Devourer of Destiny, so she could only remain like a spoiled princess.

Someone unexpected arrived; he was a man about 5,000 years old. His appearance was that of a young man, and many people mistakenly thought he was just a youth.

But he was a Seer, or more precisely, a former seer in this Upper Realm.
