Welcome to the world

So there I was, flying within the light that claimed me ten minutes ago. However, the light isn’t blinding anymore. In fact, it’s like I’m flying through a myriad of colors. Like I’m floating inside of some kind of kaleidoscope. That said, you're probably curious as to how I’m doing. Well, about that-

“AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I’ve been screaming for the past ten minutes as well, please don’t judge me with higher powers. Scratch that, you’re the reason I’m in this mess! What did I do to deserve this! For now let’s stop this screaming, wasting my air won’t help me. Wait, how can I even breathe out here? As I began to ponder how my situation even worked, something strange happened. I stopped moving, and the lights surrounding me started to turn dark. Soon I was floating in pitch darkness. Oh no, don’t tell me this was all an elaborate set up to send me to purgatory! As panic began to consume me, I noticed something. There was a small light forming in front of me, to my surprise I could her a voice coming from it.

“ ...n’t…eve…id this! ….Hello can you hear me?”

“Uh, do you mean me?”

“Yes! Thank the heavens you’re safe! Don’t worry since your body is still intake I can send you back. I’m not gonna watch while those greedy people take another innocent person.”

What does this thing mean by “take another innocent person”, am I not the first one. Right when I was about to ask, the light started moving back and forth frantically.

“What’s This! No, this cannot be! I’m sorry, but I can’t send you back. My powers really have grown weaker.”

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, let’s worry more about you. I can’t just leave you in their hands, in that case I’ll try to change your coordinates as much as possible. Don’t worry, I’ll leave you with some things to aid in your survival.”

Wow that’s actually pretty nice. I don’t know who or what this light is, but I appreciate the help. I also noticed that this voice of the light sounds female. I wonder if she’s some kind of fairy. Before I could make any more guesses about my mystery helper, she gave me a bag as well as a knife.

“Sorry, I wish I could do more, but this is all I could do. The world has strayed from my grace so I’m starting to lose touch with it.”

“No worries, I appreciate the help of Miss Fairy!”

“Miss Fairy, Oh! I forgot to introduce myself, my apologies young one. My name is Fianna, I’m a goddess. You’re about to go to a world I once created, one that’s turned from grace.”

Wait, this cute little thing is a goddess! Is she behind the trucks, no she said it was someone else. So who summoned me then?

“I know you have questions, but our time has fallen short. Try to find civilization the moment you touch down, I don’t expect any thanks but if you can please do something about how things are down there. If nothing's done this chaos will bring about a disaster that no man should face.”

“I see, I don’t know what I can do, but the least I can do is take a look into it. Thank you Miss Fianna.”

“You really are a kind young man, I promise I’ll send you home as soon as I can. Until then, survive! And whatever you do, stay away from the Kingdom of Ro-”

Before she could finish, Fianna disappeared, leaving me with a cryptic message. Stay away from what kingdom? Before I could ponder further, I was assaulted by the G force again.

After getting my eyes forced shut by the air pressure, I was finally able to open them again. I found myself surrounded by light in the middle of the sky, I couldn’t help but marvel at the view around me.

“Woah, look at all this! It’s like I’m an angel!”

I honestly began to smile for a moment, I felt like I was at peace. Then I felt my light bubble quiver, that was enough to remind me of the life I’ve lived until now. The bubble began shaking violently, that’s when I nervously looked down.

“W-Wait, don’t tell me…”

Just like an anvil from one of those old cartoons, I began free falling with light surrounding me. I’ve never been more terrified in my life. I couldn’t even admire the scenery as I fell, I was more focused on how to avoid the perfect splat. Eventually, I came crashing through the trees and hit the ground below.

“...Ugh, that was terrible. My legs feel like jello right now…”

I successfully survived the fall, I guess that light was a shield from Fianna. Still though I can only imagine how terrifying it must be for people who don’t get that luxury.

“If I was inside a building when I beamed up, forget busting my skull I would burst all the way through!”

Let’s save the video game humor for later, I’m now in a new world. Now I gotta figure out how to survive here, and also there’s Fianna’s request. She helped me, so the least I can do is help her. That said, this is a pretty beautiful world! I think I’m gonna like it her-

*Rustle rustle*

I turn around and spot a giant dragon fly as it flies off somewhere.

“...”

…Fun fact, insects terrify me.

“....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!! I DON’T WANNA BE HERE! SOMEONE SAVE ME! MISS FIANNA PLEASE! PLEASE SAVE ME! MISS FIANNA!!!!!!”
