Chapter 39: A Happy Ending from Another World (Semi-Canon)

Two years had passed since graduation. Now a lawyer, I felt lonely, and Kenzaki's words echoed in my mind. I tried to console myself by looking for a book, but I accidentally ran into Sayo. We reunited, and it turned out Sayo had become a famous voice actress and mangaka. She was buying a manga for a scene she was going to voice in an upcoming anime. We started dating after that, and finally, I proposed to her.

"Sayo Kurogami," I said, kneeling in front of her. "Will you be my queen? Will you be the happy ending from my world?"

Sayo was speechless. Tears welled up in her eyes, but a wide smile appeared on her face. "You idiot!" she yelled. "Of course, I will!"

She jumped up, hugged me tightly, and kissed me. I smiled, returning her embrace.

I knew this was the perfect ending for me.
