Welcome to my humble home.

The sun rose on the grey buildings, a warm nice day, the perfect day for the white dot gang to stay home.

“Takashima! Takashima! Takashima!” Aku interrupted Yui’s breakfast, his favorite meal of the day.

“What do you want now?” Yui put down his spoon in his cereal bowl.

“Yesterday I told you I will show you my house, wanna come?” Aku’s eyes shone brightly.

“I don’t like walking on the street without anyone to protect me” Yui’s head leaned on his hand.

“Come on, nothing will happen” Aku kept smiling “I will go there anyway to take my clothes and I don’t want to go alone” she put her head on Yui’s shoulder.

Yui closed his eyes and said one word “no.”

“Rude” Aku’s face became bitter.

“I can go with you if you want!” Nakata said happily.

“She isn’t a toy you know” Minato noded in disagreement.

“Please come with me, I want to show you my castle” Aku tried to do her best cute face.

“Fine” Yui said, rolling his eyes.

“YAY!” Aku jumped in place.

Yui put on his postmale bag, the one from brown leather and a single golden like button with a dragon shape engraved on it. He pulled the little metal key from his bag and opened the door. Aku and Yui quietly left the house and started walking in the street.

“The way from this street to the main street is very interesting” Aku said as she looked at the light blue sky “from black sad nonsense to lively pretty place. Kinda remind me of the creation of the world, the creation of the world sound beautiful, I wish I was there”

“Why? how old are you?” asked Yui.

“16”

“So we are the same”

The two kept walking, they almost reached the main street.

“The thing you said before about how the way looks like the creation of the world” Yui looked down on the dirty walkway “when I walk the other way I think about how much this way resembles the end of the world”

“So it’s like the life cycle”

“Eh?”

“From nothing we become a thing and then we return to being nothing”

“I never thought about it that way”

Aku’s hand reached Yui’s hand, she expected him to move her hand away but instead he caught her hand. Her hand was warm and soft but his hand was even softer.

They walked together with their hands holding each other. In the sea of people trying to find joy in that hot summer day, Yui felt something he never felt before, actual happiness.

“Come here!” Aku pulled Yui through a pass he never noticed before, the landscape changed completely. Instead of the urban shops and the people wandering around a big field stretched near the two. The green grass was wet from the morning dew, few birds flied above a white big castle.

“Welcome to my humble home” Aku smiled at Yui.

He didn’t believed his eyes, how he never saw the huge castle, it looked like a fairytale.

“Come in!” Aku pulled Yui and the two ran to the entrance. The ground felt light as a cloud moving slowly in the sky.

Yui still couldn’t say a thing from how shocked he was, a beautiful house for a beautiful girl.

“I just came out with an idea! what if you five will move here instead I will move to your house” Aku set a foot on the bright white floor.

Yui saw the inside of the house, it was as pretty as the outside. The floor was so clean Yui could see his own face there, from the ceiling hung a big shiny chandelier and a lot of open bird cages in different colors and sizes rested from the ceiling too.

“You like them?” asked Aku “they symbolize freedom, I keep a lot of my stuff in those. By the way, what do you say about my suggestion about you moving to my house?”

“I think I will pass”

“Why?”

“Since I killed my classmates the police are after us, don’t you think such a castle will draw the police attention?”

“I am not sure how but no one ever noticed that my castle is here”

“If someone will notice it anyway we will be in a dangerous situations but we can use it in emergency”

Yui followed Aku up the glass stairs and they went upstairs to the second floor.

“This is my bedroom” Aku pointed on two big golden doorless bird cages. Inside one of them there was a big bed with two big pink pillows, near the bed was a white dresser, on the dresser set a lava lamp lighting with a gentle light. In the other one hung colorful clothes, on the bottom of the cage rested a bunch of shoes, as the clothes, they were very colorful too.

Aku climbed the stairs that went straight to her “closet cage”, she took her clothings and said “alright, we are ready to go” she went down the stairs expecting a response from Yui.

She didn’t got her response but she did find Yui lying down on the cold floor.

“Haha, he fell asleep, he is so cute when he sleeps” Aku laughed “I should wake him up now.”

She sat on her knees and shaked Yui a little “Hey, wake up sleepy head”

No response.

She shaked him a little more “Takashima? are you ok?”

Still no response.

Aku raised her shoulders “I guess I will wait until he wakes up by himself.”

Maybe Aku felt like Yui was asleep but for Yui it felt like he was very awake.

In a place where the ground can be felt but not seen, like the sky but nothing under.

A girl approached, her thick dark brown hair reached her knees, her face was very familiar but Yui couldn’t remember from where.

“Hello Yui Takashima” she said, her flat expression didn’t matched the age she looked.

“What the hell…” Yui said quietly.

“I wanted to clarify some things” she said “you can’t run from Yui Aku”

“What? I can’t run Aku, what is that supposed to mean?” Yui looked uncomfortable.

“I’m a god”

“NONSENSE! gods doesn’t exist!” Yui was still confused about where he was.

“You are the one we choose to curse.”

“Curse?! what the hell are you talking about” Yui’s rage started to flame.

“Worry not, being cursed doesn’t mean nothing bad, it’s just mean we see in you something else than we see in a normal human”

“Something else? what do you mean?”

The girl waved her hand and said “you will have to figure it out yourself.”

Yui woke up panicked in Aku’s bed, Aku jumped scared. The tea pot and the cookies on the tray she held almost fell to the floor but in the last second she catched them all.

“You woke up! I started to worry…” Aku hugged Yui tightly.

He pushed her to the side.

“Want cookies? I made some while you were asleep” Aku gently brought the cookies to Yui..

Yui couldn't describe the experience, the only thing he could say was “I had a very weird dream.”
