"I know! Will ya just listen. I did technically lose my memory, and I was basically held at gunpoint to explain myself about all the newest stuff that's happening to me at once. It was a confusing situation... but suffice to say that I did convinced him and his other party members to help my inexperience youth at the time... especially kinda embarrassingly that I had to beg for my— Uhhh... The reporter next in front of Nakagawa on the table paused, and rethink her question more thoroughly about her question, then.

"so, who's the hero's name that saves you when you first arrived in the new world?"

Nakagawa, took a inhale of his cigarette, then smiley chuckles "Well, it's none other than the most famous hero in the town of-'

Then we're transitioning on Nakagawa's point of view.

As I ask while following him and the rest of his teammates to the city.

"Yes, the town of wonder, exploding with cultures left and right. The origin of the queen ascending to power and probably the largest station for Hero arisen in decades, but many towns in the kingdom disputed that facts and claim the otherwise. But i don't really give much about those stuff, as long as you do your job and succeeded it. Then we're good."

Well that was a lot of shit I have to take note on, Lucey didn't say anything about this place is a hot spot for mercenary based. This is actually insane! But I can't say anything about that, that sounded rude and I can actually get my asses handed to me if I were to insult their profession. But I am quite curious.

One of the girls behind Alex started to voice her own complaints.

The wizard in the party seems concern on the thought "Hmmm, it seems like someone has brought in some illegal spells in the kingdom, and I do sense something off about his outer body. He seems to have been teleport with a really high of magic spell that is used to teleport him through time it self. So he may seem to be telling the truth. Am I wrong, mr. Nakagawa?"

the two of the girls seems hella surprised when the witch theory. (WHICH IS NOT FAR OFF, MY GOODNESS! DID I REALLY MEET WITH ONE OF THE HIGH RANKINGS HEROES IN THIS PLACE?) How the hell can she give out a flat out theory with almost precise depiction on what just happened to me?

He just casually brush it all off.

"Meh, it's ok. Now that I think about the early encounter. We are quite harsh on you, and I am sorry for that. But rest assured, we are going to help you Nakagawa."

He tap my shoulder while holding his spear. He looks quite cool while trying to comfort me, but the spear is making me quite uncomfortable.

Even after all of this happening to me, I can't say that in my previous life that I die and comeback in here. In my act of try to hide my half identity, I decided to instinctively answered 'some' unrelated information so that I will feel less guilty and honestly, trying not to make any more karma on my way.

"Well, I do have some coins in my pocket. No idea uh- why though."

"Really? May I see the coins you are holding on?"

"I just want to see what type of coins you are holding. Maybe that could be a clue to figure out where you came from."

The girls seems to be agreeing and nodding at his proposal.

As I give him the mini bag of him fill with variant of coins. He examined it, then quite surprised at the currency.

"Wait. These coins... they look brand new, but... Wizzy, come look at this."

As the wizard named Wizzy (creative name) came to look at the coins.

"My my, well would you look at that. Those coins are actually rare ones that can only be acquired in a special ceremony — usually given by politicians, decorated heroes, or one of the special person. Where did you get this, Nakagawa?"

In my now super confused state (wtf did Lucey gave me????)

"I don't know? I already got those on my pocket when spaw- uh, I suddenly woke up here. But I don't honestly 'why' I got those coins. Heck, I don't even know where I got it the coins at."

Wizzy and Alex seems to not believe me at first but...

"Alright then, Nakagawa. We'll get the bottom of this after arriving at the town, and you'll probably are going to get interrogate by the police as well. But in the mean time, we'll believe you."

I panicked "Wait, you're going to send me to the police?!! I am innocent! I don't know where I am from, nor do I have anything on me, weapon and sort of cast spell if I want to. I am telling the truth!"

Wizzy looked at me with suspicion.

"Hmmm, he's telling the truth. I don't detect any magic on him, the only magic I detect is on his outer layer body. And that could only happen if somebody cast the spell on him. So he seems innocent for now at least. What do you think, Alex?

Alex seemed concerned — not about me, but about something else.

"You may be right. God knows he was probably set up or being used as a pawn in the late demon army attack. But it seems way too suspicious for him to be just a lure or decoy. God, they even gave him a lot of their good currency... it's weird to me, at least... What can it be? So it might be best if we send him to the police for better security."

The girl who is being a dick to me trying to comfort Alex.

"Don't worry about it, Alex. We'll find a way. He maybe is just lost that's all, and I can guaranteed you'll find a way, like you always do. But let the police deal with him."

OH NO! I AM HONESTLY GOING TO JAIL! I don't got any idea why I'm panicking — it's not like the police wouldn't help me in this confused state. But the thought of being interrogated by people with high authority always creeps me out for some reason.

My heart... it's starting to beat fast. I think I'm going to have an anxiety attack. I feel like my heart just drop.... CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP!

The other girl, the shy witch who pointed a staff at me earlier, sees my distressed face, voices her concerned.

"But sis wizzy, even if that means he did have a mission for a group of evil demon organization, wouldn't he have some dark magic mana? I don't see any on him. And it is a common knowledge that people who have demon connection would still leave trace, but he doesn't have any.... I even check something under his foot, I don't see any. The only trace I found on him... is a blessing spell. Like the kind churches use. Honestly, if he was a demon pawn, I would've blown him up earlier."

Wizzy seemed quite surprised with the shy witch's answer.

"Oh my, you are right, Zill! I didn't even catch that at first. I knew I could trust you for the more detailed analyzing~~~"

Wizzy then profusely cuddled Zill.

Alex seemed astonished by the revelation.

"You're right! It does make quite sense.... Hmmm, all I can think of is that he's possibly royalty, but some sort of event must have happened for him to lose his memory... Don't worry, Nakagawa, we will help you with your situation! But first, you'll need to register at the guild to gather more information about yourself, alright?"

The girl who is being mean to me earlier "See alex, I knew we could solve this! Let's go team!"

All of them seems so cheery after the whole back and forward....
