Chapter 50:

Epilogue: To Each Their Own

Epimetheus: To each their own Sekai.

“Is someone there?” This voice resonated silently through the forest.

The source of this voice, a pair of glasses, found themself stuck in the mud.

“I swear, Abs, take better care of me!”

This pair of glasses had fallen off the head of Absalon Ramorski as he had run for his life.

Tip tap.

From the bush, small steps sounded out, coming closer and closer.

“Hello! If you can hear me, help me!” The ornamental glasses called out.

Soon, the personage revealed themself.

A small girl, no older than six or seven, stepped out of the bushes.

“Huh?”

The girl had black hair; her eyes shone a rainbow hue, made up of seven colors. She wears no clothes, but crystalline structures cover the private areas. The girl had azure scales on her cheeks, arms, and breasts.

The girl steps forward and looks down at the pair of glasses.

“State your name!”

“..?” The girl looks confused before opening her mouth. “I’m…”

“Iris.”

“Lunia.”

“Azure!”

Three voices cry out at once, mixing like a cappella.

“Eh? Lunia?”

The girl reaches down and studies the glasses carefully.

“I haven't the slightest clue as to what is going on, but…” If the pair of glasses could move, they would turn their head to look at the strange girl. “ What world do you want?”

The girl looks confused for a moment before answering once more.

“One with my Mama and Papa!”

“One where my brother and I can do as we wish!”

“One covered in gold!”

The three voices answered.

“Haah… Fine, to each their own, I suppose.”

The girl places the glasses around her neck, as they are too big for her head.

Soon, this world will be destroyed…

A moment later, the girl finds the headless Absalon and manages to fashion some clothes.

From its ashes, a new world will form.

But what will that world look like?

Whose vision will triumph?

I suppose things will begin to ramp up soon…

This is the end of the beginning.

Next, their world shall form.
