Third-Person POV:

As soon as the wall disappeared, everyone screamed with joy as if they were celebrating their freedom, even though they had only been trapped in that snow globe for a few hours. The cheers echoed throughout the entire kingdom.

The king and queen, along with the three judges and some nobles, looked shocked as they were closer to the shattering stars in the palace tower.

The scene shifted to a boy with sky-blue hair, who seemed to be studying by a window. He looked bored, but then his expression turned to one of shock when he saw the stars shatter like fireworks and the space-time wall that had trapped the kingdom disappear.

"... Darien?"

Back at the main gate,

Aidan, his team members, Hirayuki, and Eirian all looked so shocked, with their eyes wide open and mouths slightly agape. They were speechless at what had just happened; their brains couldn't seem to process it. It was hard to believe because Darien was just a sick little boy. If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, they might not have believed it.

'...He... succeeded?' Aidan thought, still stunned by the turn of events. He didn't expect Darien to succeed on his first try. This was completely out of his expectations. To him, it was impossible, especially for Darien, who had never used his power before and didn't know the function or the existence of that power.

It was truly impressive.

Thud.

"Gasp! Darien!!!" Aidan's thoughts were interrupted when Eirian screamed, and he saw Darien suddenly collapse. His knees hit the dirty, rocky ground first, injuring him, and then he slumped to the floor. Uncontrollable coughing and gasping for air came from him.

Eirian immediately ran to his brother with a panicked and distressed face, almost stumbling in his haste. He knelt beside Darien, then carefully and gently lifted his head and placed it on his lap, even though Eirian's face had gone pale with fear.

"Darien! Darien! Hold on! You'll be okay!" Eirian screamed, full of anxiety and fear, which caught the attention of everyone who had stopped their celebration of freedom.

Aidan arrived right after Eirian. He immediately grabbed Darien's wrist, feeling for a pulse. His face still looked calm, even though his hand was shaking slightly. He knew he had to keep calm in this situation.

He had promised to ensure the safety of these boys, or his head would be on the chopping block. Aidan shivered at the thought; he knew the Queen had already grown fond of these two boys.

"Mona, use your power to stabilize--" The spy couldn't finish his command when Darien suddenly coughed up blood, splashing on his brother and Aidan, who were close to him.

"Kuhk! Kuhk! Gasp--!"

"Darien!!!"

Mona did not wait to tell anymore; she immediately placed both of her palms on Darien's chest. A green light came out of her palms, and then Darien's whole body also started to glow. Their hair rippled as if they were dancing in water.

Eirian, looking a little messy from crying without realizing it due to fear and worry for his brother, looked at Darien's face. The look of pain had disappeared, replaced by calmness. His breathing became steady, even if it was a little shaky, and his coughing had stopped.

The blond boy tightened his grip on Darien. His hand trembled from the event, and he didn't want to let go, even though Darien was stable and safe, whatever Mona, the woman with the sakura-pink hair, had said.

He let out a shaky sigh of relief. Tears were still flowing, dripping onto his brother's face. For a moment there, Eirian thought he was going to lose Darien again.

'... Why every time I feel like I will lose him?'

"...Eiri-niichan..." Eirian's eyes widened when he heard his brother's weak call. His eyes immediately met a pair of crimson eyes he was familiar with, full of warmth and gentleness, but also a bit of tiredness and dullness.

Even though Darien still looked weak, he still tried to smile, making Eirian give a small chuckle, but the cry again before he hugged his brother as if he was afraid the hazelnut-haired boy would disappear.

One week later,

In a secluded area of the Serenity kingdom, far from the lively and noisy city, stood a magnificent and large mansion on a gentle hill.

The mansion looked a bit aged, with climbing vines on its walls, and it was slightly worn. Even so, it looked very much in harmony with its surroundings, which were full of flora and fauna.

It felt calm, lively, and beautiful there. Some maids were outside, chatting and laughing while still doing their work. A gardener was trimming branches, and the guards at the gate were chatting and looked relaxed as if they didn't have to worry about anything, especially intruders.

"Nana!" The two guards who were chatting earlier stopped when a girl's voice called one of them.

"Hey, Nana! Your girlfriend is here. Save some for me later, hehe," his colleague teased, whispering in his ear and elbowing his arm. The young man named Nana immediately glared at him with an annoyed face, even though his ears were already red.

"... We're not a couple, okay?"

"Nana! I brought lunch for you--oh! Of course, for Len, too, hehe," the girl said. She seemed to be one of the maids from the mansion, too, because of her maid uniform.

"Wow! Hahahaha! I thought you would forget about me again! Thank you, Mina-chan!" Len said with dramatic tears. Nana looked at his colleague with a weird look, and Mina chuckled.

"Thank you, Mina."

"Hehehe, you're welcome."

"Sigh... When will you two get married? Nom... nom..."

The two lovebirds turned red, and smoke came out of their heads. They both turned to Len to object, but Len asked again before his ears got bleeding.

"Oh yeah, how are those two kids? The ones... Aidan-sama brought it last week."

"Hm? Why are you asking about them?" Mina asked, tilting her head to the side with a confused look, and Nana also raised an eyebrow at his friend.

Len shrugged and replied to his two friends, "Well, just asking. Since they were brought here, I've never seen either of them. Not even a shadow!"

"You forgot, Len, that the younger one still hasn't woken up since last week?"

"And I know the other one has never left that little boy's side. Hehe, he's a bro-com brother, just like Aidan-sama said."

"Hmm... Mina-chan, have you talked to the bro-con kid?"

"Erk!? That's... Hahaha... I only brought them food, checked on them, and then went to do my chores, haha... Only the housekeeper and the butler have spoken to him..."

"... Is everyone scared of the two boys?" Nana asked, sounding a little pitiful. Mina and Len gave a faint smile, then touched his shoulder to encourage him. "What can we do? The two boys have a terrifying power... Of course, everyone is scared of them."

"But, doesn't Aidan-sama also have a terrifying power? The first time we met him, you were so scared you peed yourself."

"Huh!? I did not!"

"Yes, you did!"

"NO!"

"Hahahahaha!", Mina just laughed hard at her two best friends' silly argument.

The scene then changed to the inside of Aidan's mansion. The mansion looked luxurious; even though it was simple, all the items there looked expensive. It was not like the outside of the mansion, which looked well-maintained but old. Inside, it was like a proper luxurious house.

A female maid was going up the stairs, and behind her was a man who looked like a doctor because of his white coat. The two of them then walked down the corridor with some maids who were there. They bowed in respect before continuing their work. After a long walk, they stopped in front of a door.

The maid had a serious and professional look; she was the housekeeper of Aidan's mansion. The housekeeper then knocked on the door three times, not too hard and not too soft.

"Young master, the doctor is here. I apologize for disturbing--"

Crash!

"Gasp! Young masters!" The housekeeper immediately turned the doorknob and opened it with a force that made it hit the wall. Her panicked face turned to confusion and then embarrassment.

Eirian was seen hugging Darien, who had woken up at some point. He gave an awkward smile and waved at her and the doctor, who both looked dumbfounded.

"...Ah... Hi?"

The housekeeper and the doctor then saw a broken glass on the floor in front of Darien's bed. From the current situation, it seemed Eirian wanted to go out and get some water. He still didn't want to call a maid to get it for him, then he saw Darien wake up, drop the glass, and hug his brother.

The two of them had the same thought, "I'll go call Aidan-sama and tell him that the little young master has woken up."

"Little!?" Eirian chuckled at his brother's shocked voice.

"Well, it's a good thing I came at the right time," the male doctor said with a pleased smile. Darien immediately remembered a manga that had a psycho doctor in it because of the way he smiled. 

He shivered and ran to hide behind his brother, who was confused about what had just happened.

"His condition is completely stable, so don't worry. Just, for these three days, don't use your power or do any heavy work that exceeds your limit, okay, little young master?" The doctor said to Darien,  who was now hiding behind Aidan this time, who raised an eyebrow, not understanding why Darien was hiding behind him

"Hm? Why is the little young master scared of me?" The doctor asked, pouting as if he felt sad and hurt by Darien's treatment.

The novel's writer immediately felt guilt. He couldn't say it was because of his experience, and because this doctor reminded him of a character from the manga he read. Even though the doctor in the manga was a psycho, he was still a good person.

'... I don't think he's an evil doctor. This is the first time I've met him, too... But, I can't let my guard down too much,' Darien thought, then came out from behind Aidan, but only his head.

"... Erm... I'm sorry, doctor..."

"Call me Hoshiyuki-sensei! But I'd be happier if Dari-chan called me Hoshiyuki-nii! Hehehe--Erk!?" The doctor's face changed so fast, from excitement to shock and then to fear, while he sweatdropped.

The reason was the brother with a bro-con problem. As soon as Hoshiyuki said his brother's name with a nickname and then suggested he be called 'Niichan', Eirian immediately gave him a sharp glare as if he wanted to end the doctor's life. A dark aura came out and surrounded him. Even Aidan himself sweatdropped.

Meanwhile, Darien was in deep thought. 'Hoshiyuki? Is this character also like Hirayuki? Well, maybe he's just a side character. Not an important character like Hirayuki. Still, I can see that he's also an important character of this world, just like the young detective.

Sigh... What in the world is happening now? I know not all the characters in this world will be core to the storyline of the world I created. It could just be a coincidence, but I can still feel that Hirayuki and Hoshiyuki are also important characters for this world.

After all, I have met many people, but none of them made me feel like this. When I think about it again, I feel like--'

"Hoshiyuki-sensei, if you're done with your work, please leave."

"Ahm... Eiri-chan--"

"Don't call me by that nickname! Only Darien can call me that. hmph!"

"Yeah? But... Hira-kun calls you by a different nickname?"

Darien gave an awkward chuckle with one of his sleeves slightly down, revealing his small and thin shoulder. 'Hahaha... Eirian is a much worse bro-con than 'him' was.'

"I'll take my leave now. Eat a lot, Dari-chan! You're so thin that I can see your bones! Okay, bye-bye, Dari-chan! Eiri-chan! See you guys again!"

"Don't call me that!"

"Bye, Hoshi-nii!"

"Darien!?"

"Aww... OK! Bye!"

"I'll add him to my list."

"Eiri-niichan... What's the list?"

'... Don't tell me my name is also on his list?" Aidan thought, feeling a shiver run down his spine at the high possibility that his name was in Eirian's notebook, which he had accidentally seen recently.

The three of them simultaneously turned to look at the room door as someone knocked on it. The door opened, and the housekeeper from earlier appeared.

She was a little startled to see her two young masters and her master all looking in the same direction with the same weird expression. 

Even though Aidan didn't show much on his face, the slight raising of one of his eyebrows was enough for the housekeeper, who had been taking care of him for a long time, to know he was just as confused as she was about why she was there.

'...They're not blood-related, but for some reason, I'm now looking at a son and a father...' the housekeeper thought. She then cleared her throat a little and explained why she was there.

"Aidan-sama, and young masters, lunch is ready. Hoshiyuki-sama told me to make sure the little young master eats enough. Would the little young master like to eat in the room or in the dining room?"

'Since when have I been called the little young master?', thought Darien while sweatdropping.

Darien felt a little uncertain about that. He had only woken up 20 minutes ago, and his brain was starting to process that he was probably in Aidan's house now and that Aidan was officially their guardian.

Now, suddenly, he was being called 'young master,' which made him feel a little uncomfortable. 'Well, I still have to adjust myself to this new life. This is my new home now... Maybe? Sigh... Everything happened so fast, just in a few weeks...'

"Oh, it's already time for lunch? Darien, Eirian, do you two want to eat together or in the room?' Aidan asked the two boys.

"... Darien, do you want to eat here or in the dining room? I'll follow whatever my brother decides," Eirian said, giving a gentle smile to his brother.

Darien thought for a moment, then he remembered something, "Where does Eiri-niichan usually eat?" That question caught Eirian off guard. He was speechless and sweating, and when he was about to answer, Aidan answered for him.

"He always eats here. He didn't want to leave your side for this whole week. He sleeps here, eats here, showers here, and does everything here. Is your brother really a bro-con since birth?" Aidan asked, which made Eirian glare hard at him, and Darien just gave an awkward chuckle.

The housekeeper who was still waiting there felt awkward at the scene in front of her. In the 30 years she had served the Ryuu family and taken care of Aidan since birth, she never thought Aidan would take care of kids, not one, but two.

One was very fragile due to health problems and a weak body, and needed the most attention, and the other had a bro-con problem and was very cold, even though he sometimes smiled and was respectful to all the staff here, but to Aidan, he showed his true colors.

And Aidan, her master, had decided to take these two unknown kids into his house, take care of them, and it even seemed like he had gotten close to them. 

'... But it feels lively now...' the housekeeper thought, not realizing a small smile full of tenderness had formed on her lips.

"In that case, let's eat in the dining room. Eiri-niichan always eats here, right? Besides, I want to walk a little."

"Ah..."

"Hoshi-nii said I'm fully recovered. It's just walking, not using my power or doing work, right? And you said, I will decide it right?" This time, Darien gave his best puppy eyes. He knew Eirian was weak against them, and he was right; he won.

'Hehehe, now I can look around our new home. Hmm... It feels wrong to say this is our home now. Even though Aidan kept his promise to adopt us, is he really okay with all of this?' Darien thought, feeling a little anxious about that thought.

He glanced at Aidan, who was talking to the housekeeper about the lunch menu now. '... Will everything really be okay?'
