Sonja is a force to be reckoned with

I couldn't believe my eyes. Here is Sonja in a full on long shirt maid outfit. She actually has a decent figure even with the frilly outfit. I had to get a closer look.

"Is she in a maid outfit?" I ask a little too loud.

Sonja looks at us then puts her hand on her hip.

"Could you keep it down? I'm trying to not get caught." She tells us.

"What the blank is going on?!" Kem whispers loudly. "Are there others around?"

"No one else is around. As for what I'm doing, I'm infiltrating. What else does it look like?" Sonja says.

"You really don't want my answer." I state.

Sonja shrugs. "Looks like you learned a few tricks Kem. And I see you found Ragon. Have you not been taking care of him? He looks skinny and really dirty in those rags."

"He just got back. He brought friends." Kem explains. "Don't change the subject! What do you mean infiltrating?"

Pearl pops her up over the orb. "Wow thats some fancy human magic!"

"Would you calm down?" I say grabbing Pearl.

"Never!" Pearl rebels by flying away.

"That's a pretty mountain dragon." Sonja comments.

"Sonja. What do you mean infiltrating? Last I knew you were kidnapped nearly two weeks ago." Kem's eyes well with tears.

"He hasn't been sleeping good Sonja." A boy with long silvery white hair says.

"Kem, I'm alright. Can you do this spell more at the middle of the night? Like 4 tics before worth? People are coming." Sonja tells us.

"Alright be safe til then." Kem says.

"Always am little brother." Sonja smiles at us.

Kem makes the orb go dark. With a sigh he turns toward the blank map then to the rest of us.

"I don't even know where to begin." He says.

"I can start by telling you about my near death experiences since coming to this world. Oh and I do need my head checked out. I keep passing out." I inform them.

"You need a bath too." A girl with long black hair says holding her nose.

The big guy that scared me the very first day stepped forward. "I can check you over."

"Y-yea. Sure. Go ahead." I say fearing for my life.

He may be big and brawly but he checked me over. The way he handled things was kind and gentle. Mitus ended up healing other parts of me with Pearl's help. Nothing seemed to be wrong with my head though. Mitus says it could be dehydration along with malnutrition. While this happened, I told my story of meeting the dragons and the whole Guy situation. Kem told me about his run in with the guy also. 

The wealth of knowledge Sonja left behind for these guys on training, spells and such is impressive. She even had books on all the dragons. In them are the spells they can learn, basic attacks and elemental forces that they can use.

"She was prepared." I say flipping through a book as I sat in a cool tub of water. Obviously not the bath I wanted but it's a bath.

"Yes she was. I knew she was studying but to hand write books that would benefit all of us. Outside of you, since you were a surprise." Kem says writing something at the table.

"Can we come in yet?" Pearl says from the window. "The girls are complaining."

"Alright I will get dressed." I say getting up.

"Hey girls you might want to see this." Pearl yells out to them.

"Would you stop!" I yell at her.

"Not a bad wash board there. Here put these on." Says Arata handing me a robe that was his.

"Thanks?" I say wondering how hard he was staring.

After I was dressed the girls come back in and we try to reach Sonja again. Inside the orb churns and a picture of Sonja appears. She is sitting on a bed in shabby clothes. Kem moves the orb and we see she is behind bars. There is a black with gold trim hooded figure standing outside of them.

I hear a man's voice cut through the orb. "Why did you tie that spell to your heart! Clever girl but if someone not so clever found you they would have killed you while trying to untangle it. Since your magic won't wear off for three years you have left me no choice. I will have to keep you here til that spell fades. Behind these bars you can't conjure magic... Oh what's this? Looks like your friends are looking for you. Its no use, you won't find her and come three years she will be so in love with me. You'll be an uncle. You hear that Kem?" The man laughs menacingly while walking away from the bars.

"You *censored for general audience*" Kem starts rampaging. It takes me and Mitus holding him back so he doesn't break the orb.

"Calm down." Sonja's voice cuts through the orb. She lays onto her bed to get comfortable. "He's gone. Little does he know I already broke the spell to the cell so my magic still works."

"You what?" We all look at her in shock.

"Yea its a fairly simple spell to cast. I figured he would do something like this."

"Then then the spell connected to your heart?" Kem asks.

"Oh that. That is so he can't brainwash me. He needs me alive so if he tries to undo the spell or brainwash me my heart will start to fail." She explains.

"That was too risky!" Kem yells.

"It works. He is too busy with other things to spend the time it would take to unravel my spell." Sonja shrugs.

"Quick question." I say.

"Hmm?" Sonja perks up.

"What was up with the maid outfit? Is that some fetish of his?" I ask.

"Oh so Kem do you know that 'double me' spell I made when we were younger?" She asks.

"The one you invented so you could sneak out at night? Yea I remember." Kem says.

"I got better at it so I'm pretending to be the maid of myself. This way I get fed well and can sneak around the mansion." Sonja says all of this in a casual way.

Kem's jaw is pretty much on the floor. The other faces around the table are bug eyed in disbelief.

"Let me get this straight." I start. "Before even getting into your cell, you dismantled a neutralizing magic spell."

"Mmhmm."

"Somewhere in there you placed a three year lifespan 'bomb' around your heart. If someone touches it, in this case uses magic on you, you die."

"Yeaaaa."

"Not only that. You're making it sound like you are making a copy of yourself, sneaking out of your cell disguised as a maid and running around doing what ever."

"Yea that's been my life for the last two weeks." Sonja says matter-of-factly.

I turn to Kem. "Your sister is terrifying."

"You, have no idea." He says with a look of a veteran in his eyes. He turns back to his sister. "My map isn't showing where you are. We need to make a plan on how to get you out."

"Yea. Not happening." Sonja states sitting up. The ragged shirt she has on slips off her shoulder.

"Why is that?" Kem's voice drops.

"First off, you all are too weak." Sonja starts and stops Kem from talking by raising her other hand. "You all are not strong enough. I'm sure you have found my books by now. Study them. Meanwhile I will be finding out what's going on on the inside here since no one really leaves this place outside of the raiders. Oh, I saw Ragon brought back a mountain healing dragon. How the heck you do that?"

"Oh that's Pearl, she was with Olive and Dre. Can I pick this up to show her?" I turn facing Kem. He nods that I can. I pick up the orb to go outside. "Maddie apparently followed me off the mountain and kept me safe the whole time."

"Good girl Maddie!" Sonja boasts to the happy dragon.

I start moving the orb around to show all the dragons.

"You already saw this bundle of energy, Pearl."

"Hi!" Pearl says trying to get as close as possible to the orb while being on my arm.

"This salty one is Sheldon. An ancient water dragon."

"Who you calling salty?" Sheldon snaps then turns away.

"Olive is over here."

"Hello." Olive replies politely.

"Dre." 

He just nods at her.

"Leaf do you want Sonja to see you?" I ask.

He shakes his head and hides between Dre and Olive.

"Alright then there is also a dark forest dragon that wants to assist in preparation of the take down Gilton plan. Oh and I guess we have the eternal fire dragon on our side." I finish up my tour.

"Ha! I will believe that when I see you spit fire." Kem says.

A burning sensation billows up in my throat til I throw up fire. With everything burned. I can't breath.
